Nice park . They have tennis courts with night time lights and basketball courts too. Also many people bring their dogs here, so very dog friendly.

This park is magnificent! Endless lawns, shade, a beautiful desert landscape area. A perfect place to walk with your best friend before the heat of the day.

This is one of the cleanest parks that I have ever seen in my life! Excellent place for relaxing your mind, body and soul.

Nice freshly cut grass, multi-purpose meeting area. hang out with your dog(remember to cleanup) have a 12 meeting or just walk around

Great neighborhood park with good tennis courts but restrooms are sparse.

Honestly, this park was clean, safe, and convenient. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Very nice park right in the middle of the Movie Colony neighborhood. I have toured through a few other areas/neighborhoods in the PS area and the MC is def my favorite. Most of the homes are secluded and not visible from the streets. The homes you can see though are beautiful and maintained. The park does have BBQs and seating areas but not a lot of shade. I would imagine the park is not used very much during the summer heat. Unless its between 5am to 10am and then again after sunset.

Clean little park, no homeless people running around compared to other parks around the area.

After driving around looking for a nice park I found this lovely and clean park big enough to walk your dog or exercise..enough shadow and some nice benches to sit

Since Covid-19 I started walking when my gym closed. Hardy Park paramiter is about 1 mile. I walk this in the mornings and have met a nice group of people. It helps in feeling less isolated during these uncharted times.The park is well kept and has a wide varitey of venues. Tennis, meditation gardens, outdoor excerise gym. Great park to visit anytime.

Nice small park !

My 18 month old daughter would give this park 5 stars. Lots of swings, only 2 infant swings though, and plenty of slides and things to climb on. Seemed to be well maintained and free of any litter.

Best place in town for a shaded morning or evening dog walk.

Very nice park and very clean. No homeless people hang there. Only issue is that they water the grounds in the middle of the day (lunchtime) when there are people all over using it. Why??? Cant the city water the grounds during the night?

Amazing park! Coming from LA we just dont have parks like this. Great green grassy expanse, large playgrounds, nice walking paths and a splash area for the heat.

My dogs and I love this place! So much grass! Dogs are to be on leash bad part is a lot of people ignore that rule. Which is poopy. Other than that it is a great park for everyone!

It was one of the first parks that I visited as a child. it was always nice and clean full of people enjoying there time and it will always bring me back to those childhood memories ️

Friendly people nice place to walk around and play with the dogs . Also you can play tennis or use the picnic benches . The park has many large shade trees making it a pleasant place for relaxing or meeting up with friends / family.etc... There also are restrooms and doggie stations. For the children the park has a great safe playground. For adults a therapy park and garden with many things to do in a healthy fun way. The area also has many benches to just relax and enjoy the birds and the beauty of its garden. There is ample parking which is central so quite convenient for anyone.

Bathrooms are a little bit worse than the typical creepy park bathrooms lovely play area for kids to play 6 well kept tennis courts 1 basketball court a level sidewalk that runs along the outside and throughout the very well maintained landscaping

The bathrooms, they need to be remodeled they have been the same since my teeanage years, we need paper protection for our children, oh one more suggestion a light neXt to playground not just basketball quarts. However I and my familia had a great time!

Our extended family came together for a week this spring in a large home near Ruth Hardy Park for the second time. It was a big part of a wonderful experience for all of us-eight adults and seven kids. We played tennis and bocce ball, chased each other around on the grass, hung out and took daily walks in and around it. It’s a Palm Springs treasure.

One of my favorite parks in palm springs its clean and quiet most of the time traffic does pick up when the snowbirds come in so if you want to get on the tennis courts get there early

I have been going to Ruth Hardy Park, since I was a kid! I remember playing football with friends on Saturdays, we would turn the big open area south of the tennis courts into a field and it was on! Everyone would come out, some to play and some to watch ! I even proposed to my (now ex-wife ) here at the park, mostly great memories from the old days!

Had a great walk with the family and met several nice people and puppies!!

The environment is not very shrowded in the dark aura I tend to bring. But the terrain is expansive.

Its nice but DO NOT go there after dark.

This a very nice park, but people with dogs, at least 70% dont abide to the city ordinance of keeping dogs on a leash!!!!

Nice n clean place to take family

Pet friendly, but some people allow there dogs to run freely. Its a great place to walk in the summer around dusk, but sometimes there are coyotes, be aware. The basketball court seems to always be busy, also the playground seems to really delight the children. Its nice to have a park close by, it really just needs a dog park. That would be my idea of perfection.

Ruth Hardy Park was a delightful experience for my dog and myself. There were several other dogs theyre all friendly and most dogs are leashed although you can let them run but you just need to be aware of community police driving through. Sometimes you will be given a warning but generally its just a verbal warning if its the first time theyve seen you with a dog off-leash. I like to let my dachshund run just for a few minutes just to get some exercise and the rest of the time we spend on the leash. Its a good place for kids to go they have a lot of great slides and things to climb on and all different types of things that are enjoyed by children so its also the location of the City Community picnic Every Spring and its its great for Gatherings picnics reunions that type of thing.

RHP and the adjacent Wellness Park are in my hood and I do my 3-4 mile fast-walk through them 3-4 times a week. They are both very nice parks; theyre well maintained, theres usually plenty of easy going people, often with their dogs, occasional events - overall very nice public outdoor spaces... my only gripe, and this would hold true in most public parks anywhere, the restrooms are kinda nasty...

Peacefully good, mountains in all directions to see, dogs on leashes with humans following everywhere. Nice.
