Neat little waterfall. Im an avid falls chaser so finally finding a waterfall in my backyard was exciting. Will be revisiting this more often!
It was a pretty cool spot. Came here to get some long exposure shots of the little fall. U can hear the water from a decent ways away. Nice and relaxing
Great wet trail!!! We hiked in 3 to 10 inches of water for 2 miles. A bit after the falls the trail elevated. So it was dry. My 7 year old loved the mud and the rushing water.
This is a nice, short hike with beautiful scenery. The entrance is hard to find if you haven’t been there before. The trailhead is on the side of the road and you have to park in the grass. Just a heads up to anyone looking to go. I went yesterday and although it was regular Florida heat, it was still very nice.
The spot to park is at Evans and Lockwood marked by wooden rails. The trailhead is small and hard to see, but close to the wooden rails. Short hike and good for families with great scenery! Watch out for mud.
Great hike and the fact the waterfall keeps the hike even more interesting. As a matter of fact I did a 5.8 mile round trip from Barr St to Lockwood and back which amazingly was dry especially near Lockwood when it can get very wet at times.. Also theres plenty of shade on that trail as well.
Cool hike... not really a waterfall
Been on trail twice now with my two kids (4yo and 2yo). The boardwalk/bridges are lovely and a gentleman passing us on trail said he was going to post a history at trailhead for the Wiley Bridge. The walk to falls with meandering children is 15/20 minutes. The orange trail keeps going for a long time and it is wonderfully shaded most of the way. We found several longwing butterflies that host on passionvines.Narrow trail and only for foot traffic.Parking is directly across from Evans Rd. It is odd parking but Lockwood isnt a busy rood at this intersection.
It was cool, but a bit underw3
The best hiking trail of the several Ive been to in the Orlando area. Shaded hike with boarded walkways for flood prone areas and couple of bridges.
Really nice hiking spot. Its very secluded from traffic and youre just surrounded by nature.
Cant find it!!
Great hike for kids/beginners to the water fall and back.
This is one of the tallest falls in peninsular Florida, which is to say it may be a full 2 feet high. Its a beautiful hike to get here from Lockwood Blvd, and its not far, perhaps only about a half mile from the trailhead. If you live nearby, its definitely worth visiting this to enjoy the falls, affectionately referred to as one of the natural wonders of Seminole County.
Where do I park to get there? Where is the trail? I was driving around and couldn’t find it.
It may be small, but size doesnt matter when it flows nicely.
Great hike very nice place
Great little day hike spot
Awesome hike
