It honestly feels like stepping back in time, peaceful and untouched as it should be. There was educational opportunities for our 7 and 9 yr old as well via markers and wildlife viewing.

The service was excellent but the food was not good, my wife had the ribs, which were a little dry. my daughter and I both had the steak fajitas, my daughters steak fajitas had entirely way too much cheese, and my few heat has never even came out until my family was almost done with their meals. when I finally got my steak fajitas they literally had like four pieces of cubed meat in them, even the server was shocked I just return them and told the server to take it off my bill she was very apologetic and I told her it was okay it was not her fault.my niece had a cheese burger which she enjoyed thank God because we were there for her birthday. That was the third time we went there and stuff was wrong with either our service or the food we will not be returning ️️️️ the fajitas posted in the picture are the ones that had entirely too much cheese, and apparently had all the meat that was supposed to go in my fajitas.

I love Tomoka State Park! Drive the loop day or night. I love night time with full moon that shines thru the tree canopy covered roads. Fun at Halloween. Old wives tale of 2 toes the monster chasing you. Kids always love the drive

Hey Dustin! Engine is running great at 19.6 hours to get here from Cocoa Beach. Oh, and this place is barely inhabited, and as far as being a marsh it is quite marshy. Very slight tidal current for anchorage.

We did not spend too much time here and only drove through it to reach our destination. However, from what we could see from the car was an absolutely beautiful state park. True nature was in full affect and you could really appreciate this part of Ormond Beach considering the more touristy and commercial parts of Ormond are just miles away. You will not be disappointed if you enjoy nature. A huge perk of driving through here is driving through the natural tunnels made from the trees hanging over the streets.

Another area favorite of locals and tourists. The Tomoka Marsh Aquatic Preserve - otherwise known as the Loop is a reminder of what old Florida looked like before it got so built up. A very relaxing drive and a nice park to visit.
