Easy access, quick parking from Fleming entrance. I went walking just before dusk on a cloudy day, which kind of made it really dark as I walked beneath the trees, palm leaves and fronds. Ill avoid that again since I walk alone mostly. Better to walk while its early and really sunny to be safe!

Great park with nice nature trails and playground for kids! My favorite part of this park is the wooden dock trail leading through the woods, I love taking my dog there for a walk and he loves it just as much :)

This is a very enjoyable trail which connects a couple of parks and the labyrinth, tennis and basket ball courts and 2 community gardens. The views are lovely. Theyre are good, clean bathrooms and tables for picnicking

This beautiful piece of nature is located in the middle of Ormond Beach. Congratulations to all involved in purchasing the property and creating this beautiful environmental gem. The park was done in three phases. Several sections have play areas for children and exercise paths for adults. There are several launch areas for kayaks and canoes. There are parking lots near the walking paths. I could visit this park every day and never get bored. I saw turtles, loons, fish, and so much more. It’s such a peaceful pleasant place to walk through, visit and enjoy for people of all ages.

Easy access. Never a crowd. Play for kids when its not so hot. Has restrooms but I have never been inside. Love to feed turtles bread here. Amazed at all the different sizes and varieties of turtles here. Other cranes, herons, and squirrels.

A nice walk along multiple ponds. Paths are paved or boardwalks, handicap accessible. Today we saw a baby alligator and a long snake. We also saw cardinals, a woodpecker, kite, and osprey.

I love coming here for the peaceful pond, the graceful wildlife, and the family atmosphere. Great place to walk and just breathe in some fresh air. Pet friendly and fitness course.

I love this park! The walking paths are kept in excellent condition. The scenery is beautiful. I love seeing what is growing in the community gardens. This is a favorite place for us to walk with our dogs!

There is a lot do to for all ages. The littles can play on the playground, teens and adults can kayak and do the physical fitness walk, everyone can play tennis and see the wildlife.

Wonderful mixture of nature trails and grassy parks. Playground, basketball hoops, public restrooms and kayak launch on one end. Over 5 miles of nature trails and waterways on the other. Intersects between residential areas, so bring a map (there is a Discovery Center) or track on Google Maps.

A fairly nice little city park with a small playground for the kids and a shaded walking/jogging trail around a small pond. Not worth driving out of the way for, however.

What a beautiful oasis in the middle of town. We enjoyed our class on bird picture taking. Luis was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of good hints.

Must visit, you can walk, bike or kayak in the five connected lakes. Bike around the lakes and make a stop at the Ormond Beach environmental discovery center located on Division ave, bike racks, restrooms on site, also bring peanuts to feed the squirrels.

Huge park lots of history my recommendation take a guided bike tour give them legs a rest! You wont regret it. O and they take you to the hot spots give you the history and take photos for you.

I lived right off this street. Really nice place to take the kids, dogs, or just yourself for a walk. There is a park for the kids. Over looks water. Nice long trails. Exercise stops along the trails too. Safe area.

The people here are always very pleasant. A very nice surrounding neighborhood. Plenty of things to do, from feeding the wild life to kayaking. Beautiful and well maintained.

Nice place to go for a walk. They have excircise machines along the lake and basketball courts. You can launch a kyak or canoe into the lake. All around great park!

Great place for the family

Visited the Ormond Beach environmental discovery center on a class trip. Very fun & educational! Had a great time!

This park has everything a park should offer and then some. It has a playground for the children. 3 ot 4 waterways to adventure around and get exercise. Nice walking trails that are shaded and it also has a Labyrinth to meditste or just enjoy walking around. Good for the mind, body, and soul. This park also features a honey bee farm and a place to learn about the wildlife in the area. Nice tables to have lunch and it is 4 or 5 blocks wide. Safe area to bring your children or yourselves and enjoy the day.

This is the nicest pen in the area. Its got a great walking trail and a ton of wildlife (mostly birds, fish, and turtles) to see on your stroll. The exercise equipment that is dotted along the walking trail was all clean and functional ad well.The only downside is one thats common all through central Floridas coast- we still have a problem with homelessness and drug use. I dont blame the park for being an appealing place for people to spend time, especially if those people dont have many alternatives and just want to pass out somewhere.

Very pretty and calming park. Nice bike loop around and many paths connecting it to other segments. Great for walks and scenic views.

Park is perfect for walking or jogging around their little pond. There are exercise stations along the route that you can jump on, some are practical some not so much. A pretty nice canoe/kayak launch as well. Plenty of good sport fish in the pond as well for fishing. The basketball court is one of the nicest I’ve seen in the area and there usually plenty of people to play pickup games. There is also a community garden you can rent a plot for if you sign up in time. The playground is okay, it’s next to the garden, past the B Ball court and is good for a lot of ages 3-10. I would give this five stars but this park is best utilized in the mornings. Multiple times I’ve taken my kids in the evening and have seen and “smelled” some pretty sketchy things going on.

This was a nice place to go! I enjoyed the two playgrounds. I did however see a fairly large gator! So if youve doubted theyre there. They are. He ended up going close to the shore to hangout. I would just be cautious with dogs and small children.

This is one of my favorite parks in Ormond Beach. Its in a quiet neighborhood and well kept. Cement walking trails with workout equipment spread along the route, kayak and canoe launching points, a basketball court, picnic canopy, and even a community garden. You can see cool birds around the water, and theres some very pretty wildflowers if youre there at the right time

Beautiful little Park. Just part of a much larger Park. Ormond Beach made great use of former Marl pits. Kudos 2 Gerald Althouse for his vision in developing this wonderful asset to the city.

We come for the wildlife encounters. Theyre amazing. Gators, Water Turkeys, various turtle species, gopher tortoises, lots of birds, dragonflies, butterflies, and much more!

Gorgeous park....love the layout! My furbabies and I arrived a bit before the park opened the morning we went. It was so peaceful. The walkways around the lake were concrete and lit. This park also has exercise equipment along the lit walkways. I didnt get a chance to cover the whole park but, it was a fantastic morning that my dogs and I enjoyed immensely...that is, until my boy Griffin decided to jump in the lake to swim. Its posted: beware of gators. I guess being a new resident of Florida and never worrying about gators up north, Ill probably never get used to them being so everpresent.

A few ponds with meandering paths in the heart of Ormond Beach. Miles of paths and side walks along the water offer a great show of nature and out side park environment. Multiple fishing spots, bathrooms, playgrounds that offers a great place to walk.

A nice park with 2 play ground areas, a nice walking path that goes through a natural tree canopy area, fishing docks, boat launch for kayaks and canoes, and a pavilion area with grills. Restrooms are open during the daytime.

Right on the beach. Simple, friendly, clean family-run business. Kid friendly, quiet and very convenient. A fantastic deal for a great spot!
