Wonderful, large, eclectic grounds with many nice outdoor places to sit and enjoy some fine wine. The inside tasting room is closed due to Covid, so be weather aware.The tasting menu is highly recommended and included 7 different wines when I was there. You are sure to find more than one wine that you will enjoy.Highly recommended

Magnificent Winery! I definitely do believe that I was transported instantly to Italy. Great wine, beautiful scenery, friendly people, tasty food! My fave for Wine Tasting!

Words cannot express how beautiful this winery is. Just walking around is soo relaxing. The wine is really good and very reasonably priced - about $20/ bottle. Now with Covid you might need a reservation but the winery is really big and you can hang out anywhere you want. Just bring a blanket and enjoy the amazing view of the pond. Wish it wasn’t only open from 1-5. Favorite place ever

The wine was so good that we went home with two bottles. Such a beautiful place with the friendliest service. We also had fun roaming around and finding a fun little cave and dragon. Oh and it was great to see that its dog friendly. Well definitely be back as soon as possible. Highly recommended!!

Visited in October on a rainy day. The gardens were still lovely and the wine tasting made for a relaxing, peaceful afternoon.

The man and woman pouring the tastings do not wear masks. That’s a lot of breathing on people’s glasses. Seems like a common courtesy that they could follow when all of the visitors are complying.

Beautiful winery with tasting room and outdoor grounds to walk. Small batch wines are produced here (less than 500 cases a year). Tastings are $10 and there are snacks and a pizza oven.

Tasting fee for $10, includes 7 (?) wines. We liked the Pinot Gris wine and came home with a bottle ($20). The grounds are great and especially would be good in warm weather. Kid friendly - open space to run and play, including a small cave and some paths to explore.Pizzas looked good - $12 each. Didn’t try one. Buffet was seasonal veggies, rice, chicken, and salad. It looked like solid catered food.Closer to our home base in SE Portland than wine country. This was great and we will be back.

We have brought many friends here the past couple of years. Always have a great time. The grounds are so lovely.

This is a great place to spend the afternoon. For lovers of wine and plants. Sitting out next to the small lake watching the sun for down doesnt get much better.Good wines at a reasonable price. Lots of unique plants to marvel at as you enjoy the wine.

Every time I visit, the owners, Burl and Cindy Mostul, are cordial and welcoming. I like to refer to a visit to the Vineyard as as step into Tuscany, right in the backyard of Oregon City. I really enjoy taking friends from near and far to spend a Saturday afternoon as a MUST SEE when visiting our community.

Wine tasting was great, but the real treat was that the grounds of this estate are a work of art. No detail was missed and we felt like we were back in the Tuscan hills. We will definitely visit again!

Lovely setting with the villa, pond, and landscape set the scene for a delicious dinner with tasty wines. We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds and exploring the villa while sipping a glass of chardonnay. Dinner was all we expected. Bring friends to enjoy the evening with.

This place is Ah-mazing!! Its unbelievable what the owners did to build this breathtaking property. Not only is it absolutely stunning there, but the wine is tasty and the owners are the kindest people Ive met. Ask them about the Villa and how they build it. Truly an inspiring story! Its my new favorite place and tell everyone about it now.

I have been visiting Villa Catalana for 8 years ! It is fantastic! The grounds are amazing! It feels like you closed your eyes, and when you open them you landed in Spain! Every year when I come back I find more and more wonderful additions to the landscape! This year the area in front of the house was redone, it looks as it just came out of an Architecture magazine! The owners had, have vision, and they created a fairy tale palace! The wines are superb, and any food I had there was always first class! All my questions were always answered, everybody is friendly, helpful! I give this place 5 stars without a doubt!!

Wow! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The house overlooks a pond with walking paths around it. If I wasnt already married, I would get married here!My mother and I did a wine tasting in their atrium which is beautiful. The owners talked with us about the wines as we sampled through them and they talked with us about the plants. The wine tasting was reasonably priced and most of the cost is applied to your purchase of a bottle, if you decide to do that.Dont forget to have your picture taken with the giant metal dragon!

The grounds here are amazing...even if you dont drink wine, this place is worth a visit! There are all types of interesting exotic plants, so from one angle youll swear youre in Tuscany, and from another, youll think youve just arrived in Guadalajara. The wines are terrific too. This place is a true gem!

Apparently if you are not in the know already, they are not interested in you. We are newer to wine tasting and had a great weekend of it, but not here. The atmosphere is breathtaking, but the hosts were rude.Atmosphere: Castle Vinyard tucked away in backwoods Oregon City. From the main building, to the pond, to the walk up, the whole place is a picture waiting to happen.Parking: More then plentyStaff: The owners were not attentive and actually left us feeling like we were bothering them with our weird questions, like what would go good with this and what would ruin the flavor.Wine: It may have been a result of my taste buds altering to my mood, but the only one I didnt want to avoid was the one made from import.Food: Not sure, didnt stay long enough to find out.Even though I love a good scene, I would not go back and be treated like that.

Stumbled upon this place on accident while browsing online and it was love at first site. This place is a hidden gem- friendly owners, fantastic wine, breathtaking scenery. I give this place two thumbs up!
