I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Everett Hall at the Hopkins Demonstration Forest. It was a perfect option for a wedding. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and the lodge is custom built and feels cozy and special. It even has a big stone fire place. This is a great spot for your next event!

Hopkins Demo Forest was great! We took the dog with us and it was a nice easy hike. Dogs are allowed off leash if under good voice control, trails were clean and easy to follow. Showed up at about 1030am and was only 2 other cars, saw 1 group leaving as we started and was just us the rest of the time.10/10 would recommend and go again. I didnt have cash to donate, but ill remember next time as this place is worth it.

Just had my first experience here. What an awesome place. The hike down to the creek and back was great. Will definitely be back. Dont forget to leave a donation.

Beautiful grounds and nicely maintained, event hall is wonderful with a giant fireplace and lovely back patio that has a super nice bbq and nice view.

Great walk. I walked the loop and the whole thing was open. Only saw a few other people. Bathrooms are not cleaned regularly during covid-19 and signs are posted. Bathrooms are for emergency use only.

Trails are really well maintained and so peaceful. Love it!

This forest had quite a number of trails and great views. The trails are well kept and clean. Theyre also large, which makes hiking with 2 or 3 side by side quite easy. The parking lot also had a nice size, so theres no need to worry about there not being space to park. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Great place for a family hike and to learn about forestry practices.

Several great trails with beautiful trees and views. Spots to stop and have a snack and enjoy the great job they have done with the forest. Several informational signs to teach you about the forest.

A fun place to explore with kids. Easy walking trails, a pond, creek and lots of wildlife!

Absolutely amazing! Beautiful location, only thing is they dont let you open early at all to decorate. That was our mistake. To allow time to decorate THEN have your guests at least 30 mins later. :)

Its a pretty cool forest escape without having to drive hours out of the way. Lots of different little trails for some easy kid friendly hikes. Lots of shady areas so your not in the sun all day.

Ssh I wanna keep this a secret place. Its really cool little hike. Some hills and a little creek make it a lovely hike

A very nice hike down into a deep Canyon that has lots of areas for interest picnic areas Creeks ponds and lots of different trails to walk on

My daughters school held their prom there. Very quaint, and was very nice. Perfect scenery for a wedding or family reunion. The outside patio has an amazing view of the surrounding forest.

Trails were well maintained, restrooms clean, no crowds.

A calm walk but a bit hill-y. Some areas are exposed to a bit of sunlight so maybe bring sunscreen on hot days.

We love this spot out of the city. Bring a picnic,they have tables. Take a short or long walk. Your choice of trails. Pretty forest.

Great for a short hike but you wont get much of a workout or amazing vista type views. Still, beautiful woods and nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon so no complaints!

The tree demonstration was great! So excited to see how its done in a proper forest! So sick and tired of all these janky free ranged trees acting like they know whats going on!

Some of the trails are beautifully manicured and others are less well marked and a bit overgrown.

Beautiful scenery in plenty of trails easy to walk when I went it was deserted but the last time that I went there was buses and kids from school and it was really very busy

A pleasant and educational walk in the woods. If I owned a woodlot the information would be very interesting and no doubt useful. Gives me a better opinion of private landowners managing their forests.
