Love to take our dog here and walk the back trail as it is a great off leash area. Lets hope it is never developed
I paddleboarded out in this cove! It was quiet and the water was super nice! There was plenty of parking and it was easily accessible. Will definitely visit again!
Great kayak launch area a few hundred yards east of the Clackamette park parking lot. No boats or jets skis so a good place for a kid or a novice to learn to paddle, fall in, and lots of other boarders in case you needed help. Wear a vest, keep your distance and pack out your trash.
Steep walkway down to water, trash and algae on most of the side we went to. only small area to walk in to swim. No beach area. Good for stand up paddleboards.
Nice place to enjoy the day with friends let go swimming.
The water is warmer than the river for swimming on the pond side great place to take the kids
A short little trail thats nice to walk or ride, if you ride watch out for the bumps there are a few spots where roots have made it rough.
Lots of activities here today. Beautiful morning, lots of dogs too. Nice walk.
Nice medium-length trail in the city. Nicely paved, with a few uneven sections where tree roots are coming through. There are multiple access points to Clackamette Cove and the Clackamas River. This trail can be used as a loop across the pedestrian bridge down to the McGloughlin Bridge, with a majority of the trip on off-road paved paths. There are both shaded and unshaded sections, and when I went, the nearby Clackamette Park was busy, but the trail was quiet.Worth checking out if youre in the area.
A very tranquil and beautiful trail. Well maintained. The Clackmas River flows peacfully along the trail. My mood and body is bouied by my walks along this awesome clean walk way.
Nice relaxing trail. Good view of river.
I walk dogs in Oregon City (message me if your interested ;) lolz) but I can walk from their house to this trail and we enjoy every second of it. Its an easy trail, but the dogs are tired after it. So its all good an stuff. And peaceful with the birds and other wildlife. Its a flat trail as well, so its wheelchair okay as well. All around a good little trail if you jus wanna randomly walk it, or if your me and walk dogs or exercise, you can do it daily or a couple times a week and not get bored of it. :)
Easy to get to, sheltered water, easy access to water as well. Great place for easy calm fun.
Good place to get out of the house
Great trail to take your dog on a walk and has fairly good access to the water.
The cove looks much better compared to last summer. Not as much litter and garbage. Work in progress.
Quite short but good enough for family excursion and little ones learning how to bike. Recreational access to River allows for some nice breaks.
We used to call this the runoff pond, nobody ever swam in that part, lot of sawmill junk and treatment plant ovet run
Clean and sparsely populated compared to Portlands Springwater Corridor. I love this route!
Super duper crowded on the cove water on a 100 degree day. Not much Beach space to put in your canoe or SUP
The part of the hike on the north side of the river is mostly through a residential area. There arent many areas close to the water or with a view of the water; the homes on this ledge above the river have a private view. Skip the loop and just hike to the east bridge and back.
Awesome place to be with the family on a hot summer day
Beautiful scenery and wildlife, right here in town!
Kind a bummy. My only time there, but there were 3 vehicles that kinda looked like theyd been there for a while.
There were a lit of people paddle boarding and swimming, but the water didnt seem clean until you got more towards the middle of the lake.
Beautiful to ride and walk and Jog along treacherous to swim
I had no idea where to park. The surrounding area seemed sketchy. Their are many bicyclists and other walkers including homeless people. The water views were pretty, but we will not be going back. There are better trails nearby.
Good place to paddle board
Perfect family hike.
Absolutely love this place!!
Always a pleasant walk or run along the beautiful Clackamas River. Great for walking digs, pushing strollers, exploring nature with children.
Great trail.
Easy walk
Great for families
Great time
Really cool that they took the time to fix this area up....and connect it with the area farther down toward the city.Recently I discovered that the sea lions hang out near here...you can often hear them bellowing along the rivers edge...usually around the dock areas.....would not want to meet one on the river in my kayak......these guys are HUGE!
Awesome place to enjoy for walks, fishing expecially for youth, and even day events, river floats, bbq ect. Usually spend 2 to 3 hours there on average.
Great trail; between Gladstone and Oregon City along the Clackamas River and the Slough.
This place is friggin amazing!
Hard to get on the water but great time
Beautiful area and quiet
Nice but full of homeless people, one of them asked me to blank his junk!
Its a little trek to the water and not the best swimming hole. However, I saw quite a few people fishing. The parking area says authorized vehicles only but everyone parks there anyway.
One of the most awesome parks weve ever been to, super clean restroom and lots of beautiful walking trails absolutely love this place, park rangers are awesome people too
They got the walking bridge close for maintenance..earthquack..
If you can ignore the litter and addicts, youre in for a treat! Lovely trees and the water can be nice.
Wheelchair friendly!
Great place to do a mini hike.
Super pretty and accessible.
Peaceful
Great scenic views, decent hiking trail.
Kinda jenk but theres alot of water to fish
This time of year there are not too many people here so its quiet and peaceful.
