Another fine place to kiss your partner at sunset or any other time for that matter
Went to park to visit the trail so i could walk my dogs but apparently the trail is not pet friendly. Google needs to have more i formation on the pet friendliness of the trail. Also it was difficult to find do to google maps leading me to the wrong entrance.
Really pretty little park. The wildflowers, which Ide heard about, were still going strong in late June. The surprise was the forest trail, which was spectacular in its own right. Pity its not a larger park, since its a long way to go for a short hike. Still, if youre in the area, definitely worth checking out.
So glad we decided to visit this gem! No real parking to speak of, so Id suggest being considerate to neighbors if you go. Not crowded with people, but we did find several varieties of wildflowers in bloom. There are a few trails, well marked & maintained nicely... surprised by how little garbage we saw (and removed). Toward the back you can get awesome views of the Willamette River that are my favorite feature of all here.
Such a nice spacious park. Nice views, short trails, perfect for the kids
Great park, nice trails with a variety of choice. Great playground and river views.
Nice kids play structures, quiet neighborhood park
The view is great. Lots of oak trees very old and tall. Many trails to walk. Plus the cemetery has lots of history.
Beautiful park/trail that is very lightly used.
Beautiful and very well taken care of park
A bit hard to find as there are no signs leading you there. Historic site. Site of the first school in the area. Can see the Willamette River through the trees. Several hiking trails wind through the hills to the south. Also playground equipment and a restroom.
Beautiful views! Easy little hikes through A small amount of flowered prairieland and Forest. Playground and restrooms. An overlook...
Great park with great views and trails.
Take a wildflower meadow stroll in spring for views of camas, blue-eyed Mary, and rosy plectritis or walk the deep woods to see vernal pools, wood violets, fairy bells, or Solomons plume. Enjoy this basalt bluff natural area with Willamette River views, picnic, restroom, and playground facilities. Be cautious of luxuriant poison oak. Limited parking.
Flowers, flowers, flowers in a quiet corner above the river.
Nice for children, but no bathrooms.
Nice out of the way park with a histoic cemetery
Nice little park off the beaten path
Beautiful place to visit
Please dont visit this park. It is my very favorite place to find peace and quiet. The cemetery ia magical
The park is located at the end of a dead end street in a neighborhood. Clean. Very little parking (maybe 6 spots?) Great views of the Willamette River. Well maintained trails, easy walking. Nice playground just as you arrive with picnic tables. There were a couple of local girls picking up litter (not that there was much to pick up) just because they thought it was the right thing to do. Beautiful grassy area between the playground and the woods, but not level enough for sports. Ill definitely be going back. Hidden gem!
Awesome neighborhood gem! Love it at sunset
Awesome place great for watching cars and smoking bud
Always beautiful, try to go early or later in the day as way to many people go here mid day.
Nice views
Great views if the river this time of year. The frogs are croaking already! Easy hiking trails.
Awesome hike. Got to go into Canemah Historic Pioneer Cemetary
Love the pedestrian overpass for taking pictures.
Wish you could take dogs here, but still some nice little trails

Great park And great for photoshoots
Close to Oregon city, historic and spooky cemetery, nice view of the falls.
Clean new pretty
Excellent place for a family hike. No bikes allowed. Lots of shade.
Didnt have time to really walk the trails, plus it was raining a bit but looked like a nice place for a quick outing
Amazing park, be warned though, lots, and i mean lots of poison oak everywhere be cautious, also no bikes allowed! There are no signs indicating this or anything in the website about this, just 1 small sign at the trailhead nearest the river at the playground
Beautiful views
An excellent park for hikers, families, or just lunch away from the rat-race.Leads into the Canemah Bluff natural area with many foot trails, and photographic opportunities.Highly recommended.
Very Expansive And Beautiful!
This is actually really nice park! If you are in this area stop by and explore it. You will love this place!
Great park! The parking is limited but it has a nice view of the falls
Beautiful place to go walking or take the kiddos.
One of the oldest Pioneer cemeteries exist here west of the Rockies
Nice little park, albeit a little hard to find. Playground is pretty fun, but not super amazing. Gorgeous, easy hike along the cliffs.
Nice place to walk but no bathroom suck for us.
A nice walk in a park not often visited. Has great views of Willamette Falls. New playground equipment for the kids and serviced bathroom facilities.
Scariest place ever going to that cemetery. Snakes all over the place!
Nice little park. Dogs are not allowed in the nature preservation area. Looks like a nice gravel path that goes out aways.
Small childrens park, but very nice. Parking lot small. After children play, there are some nature trails too walk.
Amazing views, dogs welcome. Trails to walk, basketball court and kids play structure. Undercover seating available and a restroom in the summer time
I liked & enjoyed this locale but I good have stayed for four days Easily & will return here.

A gem in Oregon City.
Nice views and Pioneer Cemetery lots of trails left for us to explore.
Fun little nature area, great if you live in canemah
No parking, not much to see.
Beautiful and serene
Great park above the bluff
Great park! Baseball fields and a playground
Well tended pathes in a beautiful setting
Good park, nice view, quiet neighborhood.
Quiet, peaceful park
Lots to explore great trails
Theres 2 parts to canemah old and new. New canemah is my favorite park in oc it stretches for miles right along the willimette overlooking the falls and reminder of what was once the paper mill. Majority is thick forest but they do have restrooms and a play structure old canemah is just as nice but considerably smaller and has paved walk paths also over looks the locks and lacks a restroom
Love it there
Beautiful place
Very nice
