I attended a concert. It was a great experience. I parked near the concession stand, so the sound wasnt very loud from the stage. That was fine because I could tune in to the radio. My only complaint is the signal had static. It was a great mix and sounded good, but it would have been better were it a little clearer. The picture was great! Ill be taking the family back for a movie sometime.

Fun place to go on date night. The wife and i brought lawn chairs and sat in the bed of our truck.Staff was very friendly and informative.Food was mediocre and expensive. Stick with the popcorn and soda. I would recommend going out to dinner before the movie.Sound is broadcast on an FM frequency (100.9 at the time) and there are loudspeakers at the rear of the parking area to mitigate the need for an FM stereo if you park close enough. If you want to park toward the front, get there early. We showed up 45 minutes early and the place was packed. Of course, that may vary on any given night. If youre going on a hot summer night, dont expect to run your AC. The engine heat, exhaust noise, and/or fumes can be overwhelming to those around you. Plan accordingly or pick a cooler night.Lastly, each row appeared to have a light which indicated whether or not the row was full. I cant speak to its accuracy. But, I saw security run down a lot of peeps driving aimlessly for a spot after the movie start time. If you show up late, be courteous and go straight to the back.

Really cool that this place let my job pay for its employees to go see a movie, I appreciate that. But the experience could have been a little better. Movie started at 8 when flyers said 830 and it advertised popcorn from my job but as I got there 30 minutes late the concession were closed and I got no snack or drinks through the whole movie. Reaaaaaallly wish those things had been communicated better and my review would be better.

We go ever chance we get....wayyy better than a movie theater, wish the bring your own food fee wasnt so steep...wed love to support their snack bar but there isnt anything we can eat for us with dietary restrictions and allergies. The bathrooms are awful and never stocked with any supplies to wash or dry your hands so we tend to only use in extreme emergencies...weve walked out to use the fast-food bathroom across the street rather than use theirs....that said we still prefer Winchester to any theater, we have an awesome time every time, and we love supporting them and keeping a drive in alive and well in our city! Keep the above in mind especially if you have food allergies or potty training kiddos etc but you really are missing out on a great experience if you dont go!! Plan to be there before the gates open to get it as they stay busy and full anytime its a popular movie or the weather is nice!!!

Never disappointed at Winchester Drive-in! Double feature for $7 per person, sound through the car radio, and plenty of spaces. Especially in 2020, the easiest way to social distance while taking in a movie (or two).

We went tonight for the Big Daddy Weave/Zach Williams Concert. We went inside the concession area before the concert to get some drinks. It was myself and 6 year old little boy. We both have health issues and can not wear a mask. We walked in and peaked around first to see if people were eating inside. People we herded in like cattle! There was one person on top of another, with zero social distancing. There were people sitting there eating their food and visiting, mask free. My little boy and I waited in line about 5 mins and then was approached by security asking about masks. I told him I can’t wear one and neither can my little boy due to asthma and other health issues. We were pretty much kicked out with nothing to drink for a 3 hour concert.First of all.....How can you kick us out for not wearing a mask when you allow people to sit in there and eat without one on? Mind you, you stand right next to them while in line. How is it any different if we stand in line without one for health issues? I did not want to cause a scene, so I left without confrontation.Later I sent my two teenage boys to get drinks, WITH masks on. The lady at the concession singles them out and told them they were not to speak. She said they were spreading germs!!!! They both had masks on and over their nose. Who do you think you are? There were many adults tonight wearing masks below their chins in there, yet you single out the ones that have medical issues. Then you single out two teenagers that are there for a great night of worship and as a birthday gift, when they are following the rules.I have never been treated so badly by a business. Absolutely unprofessional! If you’re going to enforce rules, and be hateful about it, don’t pick and choose who you enforce them to.

I take my kids here multiple times every year. It has a great atmosphere, super cheap and they play up to 3 movies for one price sometimes, depending on the time of year and whats going on. Concession prices are high but its expected when the ticket prices are so cheap. Still good food and service. Super super hot in the concession area during the summer.

Its a super fun way to be outdoors and watch a movie. I suggest bringing a boom box so your car battery doesnt die. LOL The food wasnt bad actually. Pizza, etc. For $20, you can bring your own cooler. This seems like a rip to me but I dont make the rules. Can pop is $1/can and Im a heavy pop drinker so be ready if you are too. It gets pretty hot in the vehicles. Its something to do though.

No more social distancing. This was a great option during the world pandemic. Initially the Winchester spaced vehicles out and limited attendance. Not anymore. Yes you still have to wear a mask at the concession, but no spacing at all. People walk between cars without masks and generally don’t care about anyone else. No respect. Don’t know why I expect more from Oklahomans.

The old man at the gate in the black hat is prejudice af if youre not exactly like him. He refused to look at me and only responded to my white gf then told everyone to be on high alert to the point where people were sitting around in golf carts staring. When I tried to get my girl some food everyone suddenly ran up and was completely disagreeable. When I turned around to leave I saw the same old man smiling and understood why.

MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW IS IF YOU ARE COMING AND LINING UP BEFORE THEY OPEN THE GATES, DO NOT LINE UP HEADING TOWARDS 240, YOU MUST GET IN THE LINE COMING FROM 240!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OR YOU WILL NOT BE LET IN!!!!!Okay, now that is cleared up lol. We didnt have a problem (personally) because we were in the lane coming from 240 but saw a LOT of people super super ticked off because they had been in line just as long as we had and were told to go get in the other lane. I was thinking they need a sign that says this?! Thats not very fair to those people, it does not say this ANYWHERE btw. If youre gonna do it, then have the guy out there that was telling them to go get in the other line, have him come out LONG LONG before the gates open. I bet they are losing business because of that!!However, I will say, we got in line long long before the gates opened (we were in line long before 6) and the right lane was moving INSANELY faster than we were...of course we get much closer and see that it is a much older gentleman on our side (I mean at least 20 cars went in before we did on the left side of the line!!!) We didnt even get to settle in and get snacks etc before the movie because we didnt even make it through the gates to get parked until the movie was playing. There arent many previews, there was hardly an intermission between movies (so we again missed the first 10 minutes of the second movie) and honestly during the second movie, this lady wouldnt stop YELLING at her 6 kids, the kids were yelling at eachother, it was miserable. They didnt shut up until more than halfway through the movie. :( we thought about leaving because it felt pointless.

Very unhappy about the confrontation that happened with the security guard and the refusal to get a manager or atleast the contact info. We witnessed someone get out of their vehicle, physically block traffic to allow their family enter the property. We tried to explain that to the security guard and he was very short with us. Heads up everyone, he’s a licensed security man, whom carry’s their pistol on the right side of their hip. The man made it very clear where his weapon was.

I used to love coming here, but the security guards have gotten ridiculous. They had us move our cars FOUR times because they each had a different opinion about where we should be. We have small hatchback cars! One security guard told us one pole, but the other made us move forward to the other pole. Then, one told us to scoot back about four feet. Later, Rod came by and told us to pull forward four feet. When we tried to explain that we had moved three time at the direction of the other security guards, he said, no they wouldnt tell you that. I am fairly sure I wouldnt lie about it. They arent polite about it. I suggested they have meeting to get on the same page, but Rod refused.

As we walked back to the credits ended. Got to my car and got my kids buckled in and got in the car myself. As Im buckling my seat belt to leave a security guard pulled up to my window and told me Its time for you to leave. I told him we just got back from the bathroom and we are about to leave. He then yells at me and my kids Were closed. You have to leave now. There were still at least a disenfranchised cars still in the parking lot packing up to leave. I spent $20 to get in and another $50 at the concession stand and they throw me out 5 minutes after the credits end like Im a trespassing vagrant! Shame on you Winchester.

Ive been going to the Winchester Drive-in for well over 40 years, first as a child, now with my own children. Its more affordable than a traditional movie theater and more comfortable. The same family has owned The Winchester since it opened and has continued to provide this family tradition to its patrons. OKC was lucky they decided to repair the damage it suffered from a tornado and that they decided to complete the digital upgrade so that people from all over can continue to enjoy the nostalgia that The Winchester provides. This is a childhood experience that has kept on giving in my family!!!! ☆☆☆☆☆

When they had tornado damage we were worried they would close but they pushed through and I remember many weekend while it was freezing cold through most of the winter making up to all of us for the time they were closed during the summer. He shoved it back in my hand and told me and several friends that he better see us buying more drinks and food. It was very threatening and aggressive.
