This park has 8 swings, 4 of which are for toddlers. A big kid playground and little kid playground. The fire truck and train play sets are what get my kids excited. The playgrounds have sand instead of wood chips or rubber flooring. The tennis courts are decent condition.

Wow! Very nice park! Other than a few branches, lawn care and bathroom details it was not as bad as some public parks. We met there today to purchase a surfboard from a local. I didn’t expect staying for a few hours but we fell in love with the mature landscapes. Fully grown palms and oak trees outstretched the fields. The baseball field was freshly racked. The jungle gym had sand, not wood chips or the compressed plastic. There were signs with specific instruction on how everyone can care for the park by working together. The vibe was good, the people that were there were not as friendly. I said hi to a lady and her dog and she didn’t hear me. The wind was blowing and it was a cool 62degrees. My son hit the jungle gym as I swung on the swings. My daughter walked the park in search of Pokémon and so did I because it had its own Pokéstop. Overall good place to chill ax.

One of the best parks we have been to! Love that it is secluded and has a variety of toy equipment for children to play on and explore!

First time going to this park and I have to say I LOVE IT!! So much better than the Zoo in Montgomery Alabama. Definitely worth the drive and the money!! We will be making more trips to this one!!!

Clean, nice set up but rather small. People brought their pups which was great for mine to socialize with but there wasnt an enclosure for them or else Id give 5 stars

Very peaceful and tranquil park. There is plenty of shade to avoid direct sunlight. The rims on the basketball goals are missing so dont plan on hooping.

A fantastic hidden gem in Oceanside. Its beautiful and well kept. There are tennis, baseball and basketball courts as well as swings and slides for the kids.

Great place to have a picnic and very kid or pet friendly. Many playground structures, as well as some climb-able trees. The view going to and from this park is nice.

Beautiful and always peaceful. A few people maybe around with their pets as well but never crowded.

I had a great time playing softball. Great place to bring the family. I was excited to come here because of the basketball court. Leaving 3 stars due to the fact that the basketball hoops are 2 different heights and the rims are bent. Not a good place to ball.

Great Tree Shade and a good playground with a lot of grass. 1 softball field and 1 little league field with tennis courts as well. At times can be a little filthy from the day before.

Clean and kept with functioning restrooms, but being as far removed as it is from any walkable marketplace it ought to have not removed the vending machines. In need of some snacks and refreshments available one way or another.

Well you know what theyre working on it tell the trailer park is close to the beach actually on a gorgeous day you can see the beach in the ocean and the harbor and its not a whole lot to Capistrano Park in East Park trees is parking handicap theres a restroom cuz itll place to have a picnic

Visited this park while on family vacation. The reviews on this park are lies. When we arrived at the park there were homeless people camped out in the park. Two rvs were all set up with canopies and grills all set up. A couple came out of one tent and clearly high on something. Kids ran right back into the car. I dont mind homeless people at all,its the junkies that leave all the drug waste thrown all over the place that gets under my skin. I cant and wont allow my kids to play in a playground that has used needles and foil pipes thrown in the play atea. Used condoms on the slide didnt help make us feel any better. City parks and recreation needs to maintain this park a lot better than they do now. Drove past this park for 7 days and nothing had changed. Sad to know that a place like this cannot be used for the purpose it was intended to.

Small, relatively quiet, and out of the way. The only major detractions are the old couple living in a camper in the parking lot, and the fact that other park goers dont like to pick up their trash.There are 2 birthday parties and a baby shower going on here and there is still plenty of space.

Stop parking near me. The whole parking low will be empty but people still want to park right next to me as close as possible and stare at me playing with my kids while eating arbys. Who eats arbys yo? That place has been closed down for months man. How you gonna drive clear across from another city to come stare at me and almost dent my door trying to get out of your car to throw away your cold arbys meal. Thats real suspect.

Love this park. Has toddler playground which its rare to find for 2-5 age group.

I guess the best thing about this park is that they have bathrooms and also grills. They have a baseball field, kids playground, and plenty of benches to host a birthday party. Overall, it was decent but there are a good amount of better parks.

Very clean n dog friendly n people as well. So happy Bentley n I have a safe park to visit and close to home. Cant wait to move to Oceanside this month. Just wish it was Leash

Very clean, quiet and peaceful in the mornings, green grass, and lots of shade.

The huge trees make this a park well worth visiting. There are several cement picnic tables scattered across the green grass so that 3 or 4 are in shade no matter where the sun is. There is a play structure and a ball field, but I just came to rest in the shade. I had bicycled to the north jetty, but the beach was way too crowded. I found Capistrano park on the map and rode the single track trail along the river to the park. I was well rewarded as the park was almost empty, cool, and beautiful.

This park has plenty of grass sprinkled with mature trees so you can relax in the sun or shade. Theres also a nice childrens play area with climbing structures.

Great park, just wish that dog owners would read the sign in bright letters no dogs off leash. No matter how friendly your dog is, you never know if it may snap or knock a child down. Theres a leash law for a reason.

Nice park. Lots of different equipment to play on. Ample parking. Quite and not that busy when I went in late afternoon.

This is a great hidden park. There are a lot of birthday partys on the weekend and not too busy of a park. Dogs are welcome at this park but it is not specifically a dog park.

Clean neighborhood park; playground, 2 baseball diamonds, public restrooms, parking for ~ 36-40 cars, only 2 handicap parking spots and NO ROOM for RVs cant even turn around if the lot is full. Do not enter.
