Being residents here for more than 25 years weve seen our share of ups and downs here at the park. With the recent change in property management and a new, qualified, and very capable on-site manager, changes are occurring that have taken us from the brink of being a trailer park to that of a well run mobile park. Granted, some residents have left less than glowing reviews about the management which, when applied to the previous managers, have some merit. Negative reviews in the past 9 months though should be not be taken seriously as these are usually written by individuals who rebel against rules and change. Many dont care what their homes look like. The recent enforcement of the basic by-laws of the park has resulted in a huge clean-up of the coaches, repairs made, infrastructure improvements, and a general approval by all residents we have made contact with. There is still more to do (baby steps) that will result in an even more well run park in the future. A great place to live and we look forward to the new and improved Lamplighter. And yes, I am Grumpy Greg.

Best Residents! Having managed everything from Million dollar homes to low income apartments and everything in between I have to say the residents at Lamplighter are the kindest and most easy to work with people I have experience. I live in the park and really feel at home here.

Several of the residents (or at least vehicles exiting the complex) dont watch for pedestrians crossing the entrance/ exit on the sidewalk. Its a blind exit but the complex put up a mirror so drivers could see pedestrians. I walk my dogs past the complex daily and have almost been hit by a car multiple times because they are not watching when they exit. Drivers are frequently looking to their left for oncoming traffic but dont even glance to the right for pedestrians before they attempt to exit to the right.

This park is great! This id a very quiet community, no renters here! I feel safe and secure with my two young children in this gated community. We are getting upgrades as this is an older park but all that means is that our amenities will be nicer. Also, absolutely cannot beat the rent, i never thought Id be able to afford a home in California, im so grateful to have found this lovely home to retire to.

With each turn-over in management, this park gets progressively worse. Star Management has not done their homework when hiring, it seems. The current manager Debbie does not return calls, harasses residents and guests who are using the amenities (pool) and does not seem to have a strong background of dealing with people in a professional manner. With so many choices of homes, this mobile home park would be at the bottom of my list.

Debbie is biased. She lets her boyfriends and their friends break the noise and car repair rules. If you complain to her she tells on you then her cronies harrasment escalate to verbal and physical violence. Her reputation is well known by local police and they encourage us to not involve her in any complaints and to just call police directly. So at this time it appears the only required task she can handle is to collect space rent. Which by the way we can place in the drop box. So what is her duties? Hooking up with 1st generation uprights with no teeth.

Clean and well managed, Debbie the manager is very aware of residents and is compassionate about personal issues. This park used to be bad, and there is still room for improvement but this park is making its best effort to maintain a high standard of living for all residents.

Nice gated community. Management is pushy, and they do whatever they want. Also they have a lot of weird rules that they try to inforce. There is a parking lot on the east side that base heads bump loud music in.

Ok to visit, not a secure place to hang your hat. The culture is too unpredictable and wishy- washy, like The Manager Examples: the place is a lot more cleaned up/ looks better and the manager ( bless her little black heart) tries to pretend to be competent, friendly and sensitive to your personal needs. But, as long as you dont foolishly take her at face value, thinking that you got a new best friend and confidant, you probably wont be too bitter when you see that part of that clean up includes evicting a very old little lady, and very disabled man out of their forever homes, keeping all of their property and personal belongings that were forced to be left behind. The little old lady had to live in her car with her dog and the disabled man went to a skilled nursing home. Oblivious to how he was robbed, it appears to be just because the manager wanted his space/ lot. The gullible people who live here believe that she was just getting rid of some of the undesirables (MY HERO!) Will find out just what she thinks of them, as well. Shes got plans for all of you, believe that! Also, if a lot of micromanagement (from your co- existers) is your thing, you may want to move here. However, if its important to you that your children absorb and learn the highest standards, values, integrity, empathy etc. etc. etc., then I wouldnt recommend moving them here. ( By the way, I was one of those undesirables, Im not fake and I kiss NOBODYS A**! Got that?)

I love this place .. its Home i moved in here in 2005 when it was managed by Lou and Jim and Bonnie . and in that time there was a few problem tenants that Jim and Bonnie and Lou knew about but did nothing about... and by doing that at one time we had some crimes here . such as stolen property and things of that nature. and its true that when Jim and Bonnie and Lou left the park as management we got a few bad apples for the job. however i feel it is my duty as a happy resident here to tell all who may read this the current Manager Debbie is a great Manager here when debbie came in it was a mess here and she jumped in with both feet and cleaned this place up it took a while but she got rid of the problem homes and tenants and the property value went up in the park . she went around and properly collected info for good professional office records on all homes and tenants . the previous management had messed up all of the records and rental agreements so bad that she had to completely redo all of it this is a big park lots of records but she did it and as she was doing it she came across some things that were not on the up and up and addressed them as she should have . but as you can see by doing such things like this it has ruffled some feathers of other tenants and now are making such Ridiculous claims here now as things like favoritism .. and such and this couldnt be farther from the truth . i my self have been confronted by Debbie on a few things as well here and have made the effort to fix the problems she has reported to me that was wrong in my doings . so i assure you Debbie is a fair and just manager . she is not vindictive nor does she play games . she gets the job done here to put this into perspective for you there is 161 homes in this park and there are only maybe 10 homes in this park that have complaints about her management tactics .. so i have to say come to the park see for your self meet debbie and make your own conclusions about this place . Star Management and Debbie have done a great job here at the park cleaning it up and since she has been here that i know of the park and her have moved in i think 4 brand new homes with new tenants and all are happy . so please dont listen to ramblings of some of the unstable tenants that like to stir the pot here . come see this place for your self you wont be disappointed
