This is a nice park. Plenty of walking trails and a cute little spring you can look at. I wish the playground had a little more stuff for the kids to play on, but it isn’t bad. It’s super close to town but you don’t get that vibe when you are here which is nice!

Ocalas parks are great. This one is pretty small, but it does have a walking path, with activities, a sink hole with cave, and a playground. A perfect place to kill time before or after a movie at the theater across the street, or dinner from one of the restaurants in the two adjacent shopping plazas.

Pretty nice playground and some extreme bike trails. The caves were neat but the water around them had a lot of trash in & around it. All of the trash bins were running over onto the ground. BATHROOMS WERE VERY NASTY (UNUSABLE) also the bathrooms are pretty far from the playground

This place is beautiful. Park is shaded and clean. Another one of Floridas hidden gems. A must see if you live in florida.

Nice park to take small kids, playground, open trails, and a cool natural rock grotto with a small spring, not for swimming, but has a viewing podium and is cool to look at.

Nice little park well maintained with a nice sink hole and small bike park.

Unfortunately the playground is still closed due to covid-19 but the park itself is open and thriving with people practicing social distancing. I let my little one roam around and explore nature today so he seemed pretty content.

Great free park. Other than being hot it was a fabulous afternoon with the grandkids. Clean and well kept, the walkway to the sink hole was fun. There are large fish and turtles in the water. Its a ways from there to the playground, but the kids didnt mind. Swings, slides, merry-go-round and more. There is a nice picnic area too.

Never knew this hidden gem was there. Very near be place, nice atmosphere safe place to walk and see the caves and turtle that lives there.

Nice park, clean & a good workout

This is a former underground lake that caved in thousands of years ago. It is a direct link to the Floridan aquifer. Human activity at this site goes back 8000 years by commonly accepted history. Once badly damaged by illegal artifact digging, it is now a beautiful city park.

Ocala never disappoints when it comes to parks. Visited today with our 2yr old son and he loved the playground. The spring area is very pretty and we has fun feeding the fish. If you are into mountain biking, there is a really cool technical skills area with a variety of custom obstacles. Lots of picnic areas here as well and we will bring something to cookout next tine. Amazing how such an awesome park can be tucked away right in the middle of town.

My family enjoyed our time there.it a good meeting place..half way point. well be back.

I love Scott Springs because its unique and someplace free to go on a hot Florida day. This place is great but I do wish they had some vending machines nearby.

Its a nice, quiet area. Wish it were a little bigger but it is beautiful. They also have a playground for kids and a small area with ramps for bikes.

It is a quit place to walk. You can walk, excerise, jog or enjoy nature. Or even have a pick nick.

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. The spring and cave area is so peaceful. Walking track is very nice. Plenty for children to enjoy and parents. The playground was in excellent shape. Love having the all weather exercise equipment placed around for our use. Bike course looked like fun too!! Great job Ocala!!

Its An Beautifully Quant Little Park With A Beautiful Gorge You Can Fish In, 2 Restrooms, Playground For Little Ones, These Interesting Little Cresent Bridges That Dont Go Over Anything, Pathways For Jogging And A Little Outdoor Workout Area.

Lovely little spot to visit whilst we camped in Salt Springs

Cute little gem! My sister told us about this place and took us there for a little walk in the park. The cove with caves was so cool! Unfortunately there were small children there dropping a fishing pole in the water over the railing and it wasnt enjoyable to stand there and take in the view with kids screaming and trying to catch these tiny fish that were in the little pond there in front of the cove. I dont think they were supposed to be doing that; but their parents were nowhere to be found. We just left and walked around the park and then left. But, I wanted to say that it was really cute there! We loved the cave area and cove, and I enjoyed learning about the trees on their history boards.

Beautiful walking trail. Playground was being enjoyed by many kids if various ages. Well shaded and plenty if places to rest n reflect. My dog enjoys walking here as well due to the shade and kids to visit.

It was great! With the exception of 3 beer cans in the spring, it was immaculate. Beautiful healthy fish. The surrounding park was very pleasant as well. Will definitely be going back.

“Neat little park” is a good description. Cool if you have an urge for trick bicycle moves or some sort of mtb using a sort of mini pump track type set up. A loop trail for walking and lots of parking space

Neat little park...it has quite a few picnic areas, most with grills. There is a playground and a walking trail plus bike trail. Bonus is the sinkhole (with fish) at the bottom of a walkway that is very pretty. We enjoyed our day there very much.

Quiet and tables are plenty spaced out!!!

My toddler really enjoys the playground at the back of the park. The bike trails appear to be well kept and I have to see a full trash can, and there is no trash on the ground. If you are out shopping along SR 200/College Rd, this would be a great place to stop and let you child/children let out some energy.

Neat little park in town. Would be slightly better if the bathrooms were near the playground, but its not so far to decide against the park. Nice walking and biking paths, too.

We had visitors from out of state and took them to Scott Springs Park. It was clean and a little something for everyone the cave area was awesome.

Such a magickal, peaceful park! It has a health trail, a biking trail, a playground, restroom facilities as well as exercise equipment! I love that this park promotes nature education and mindfulness.

Beautiful Place for families to come together, picnic tables, For your kids parties,Paths to walk on, benches to sit on to watch birds, squirrels, or just a place to be out in Nature.An area for kids to ride their bike, a cave, some water down by the cave at times.My Granddaughter Dekotah and I wanted a peaceful place to sit and enjoy our subs / chips from Publix, Sunday February 23rd, 2020. So Scott Springs was our place to be. We watched couples strolling the paths holding hands, families strolling from one area to the next.Some people you will find out for their daily walks and there are some exercise tools I believe further down the park.They do have bathrooms, plus there is a Walmart in walking distance of the park, Publix is about a half mile or so down from the park, pizza, wings, many places to grab a bite to eat before you come to the park or for while you are there. So if you are ever in our area come see a great place for you.

Great place to picnic with many tables, walk on the trail, relax. Bring your bike for the bike ramps. Kid friendly with jungle gym. Convenient restroom facilities and pet friendly.

First time after visiting Sholom Park

Nice little park in Ocala. Had a nice playground for children and a lot of picnic tables with grills. The grotto was an unexpected bonus. No entrance fee.

Great place to walk your dogs. Beautiful, right in town and its free.

I love walking around this place with my dog and my husband. They have BBQ grills and picnic areas throughout that you can cook at. its open from sun up to sun down. I have riding skill Trails there to that are neat looking we didnt have a trail riding bicycle but if we did I would take it there. They also had kid area for playgrounds we didnt really go over there much cuz we had the dog and you cant go over to the playground with a dog. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

At first glance I was not thrilled, but as I explored more I found nicely paved trails, a great playground for kids, and the beautiful spring and cave area. The bike skills trail is very cool, and the exercise areas available on the paved path are few but excellent. Very unexpected!

Beautiful peaceful park. Has a nice playground but the swings are a bit separated from the main playground area and right next to the entrance, which made me feel uneasy (easy for kids to wander off).

It was an okay spot to stop if you dont plan to spend too much time. Not very impressive. There is a playground for kids, a small pavilion, shallow sink hole with spring water,and a small winding bike trail.

They have a child playground, a few work out items around a looped walkway, and a nice little spot with water that when caught on the right day is a cool view. I believe they put it a bike trail as well, but Im not 100% sure.

Very decent but very small park. Between bike and walking paths is only 1.25 miles. A small area for tricks on your bike, and a couple of body weight exercises are available.

Nice waking trails, bike ramps and playground. I enjoy looking at the spring with tadpoles and the cave at the end of the boardwalk.

God please change the name of this park to cant effen go swimming park. This place blows even for free. Dont waste time if looking to swim.

This is by far one of my favorite parks! Great for a quick walk on my lunch break, or hanging my hammock on a day off... the kids love the park and I cant wait to try out the bike skills trail!
