Homeless tents on the tennis courts means they no longer, get used much. Asian lady feeds the Lake Merritt birds with a big bag of bread crumbs. The FordGoBike station is always short of bikes. They need more stations.

This is a cool place to chill with someone or even yourself. When its not busy, this place is very peaceful and serene. The smell of the lake however is bit strong and fishy. People often have outings over here.

This is a good place to sit and watch the lake or people running. The tennis courts across the way have lots of holes but I can run around on it just fine.

Worst tennis courts ever. Came here once and people (adults) were riding their bikes on the courts. Dont waste your time, there are other tennis courts throughout Oakland that are much better.

Athol place is a small park across the street from Lake Merritt. There are no real facilities or amenities. The view is nice from the grassy knoll.

It a small park it just have benches and the tennis courts. But down the street theirs another park that only have beaches too and u can find bathroom thier Separate bathrooms.
