Deception Pass Camp

The best place to ever camp. Clean, beautiful, and large camp sites. The deception pass beach is amazing and can see the bridge close by.!!

Site was surprisingly private - well designed & level for our teardrop trailer. Easy walk to two different beach areas - one with a view of the bridge. Only warning is that military jets fly over during the day & night.

Camp grounds were nice and clean Enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the wildlife. We Had several birds, chipmunks and rabbits come visit.Other than the naval air base jets everyone around us did a good job of being quiet in the late night mostly.One of our favorite campgrounds to go to.Book well in advance!!! It fills up quick.

Great campground, plenty of sites and well maintained. Tucked into the woods means there is plenty of privacy. Lots to see and do with saltwater beaches for beachcombing and a freshwater lake for swimming. Watch and listen for the aircraft from Whidbey Naval Air Station.

Awesome We love it here! Lots of hiking trail. The lake and the beach together.

Just be careful how the route to the site it. Can get a bit tight getting around. Well worth a bit of work getting into your campsite. Salt and fresh water play is right around the corner!

Pros: the proximity to Puget Sound. Very close to an ocean beach and a warm swimmable lake in same time.Cons: the proximity to Puget Sound. If youre looking for the quietness during the night its not for you. Youll hear the waves, as well as the jets from a nearby air base all the day and the night long.

Nice campgrounds. A little close together but still fairly private.

Its a peaceful, well maintained campground. With beaches and near a sightseeing bridge apparently second in popularity only to the Grand Canyon. I like the connected hiking trail under the bridge east of 20 Hwy.

My family woodcamp there fairly often when we were raising children its undergone a lot of remodeling you might say and Im not happy with all the changes but there are very very many people who use this Park and Campground is beautiful I cant say enough about the beauty Ive sailed through Deception Pass many many times its just gorgeous
