Historic Route 66 landmark. Mother Road fans this is a must see. Shame it had to be closed for health pandemic reasons.
This great stop on Route 66 is now open for business thanks to Terri Ryburn. Stop in to see and purchase Route 66 memorabilia and local art. Terri is very knowledgeable about Route 66 and will love to chat with you! All this place needs is a place to sit with coffee or tea and a pastry or something.
The lady that restored this place over the course of ten years should be thanked by everyone that visits. Without her this place would not be what it is and village would then not have bought it. I dont have her name handy but thank you again
Not currently open for Covid
Always something great in the shop and always wonderful people ready to help you enjoy your Route 66 experience.
Very well worth getting to this historic location. The lady who had the location renovated and now manages the location is one of the friendliest people youll ever meet. She also has an in depth knowledge of Rt 66 history. This is a stop you shouldnt miss.

Nice place for a quick visit on old Route 66.
Amazing piece of American history, would love to travel back in time and see this place in its heyday! Get your kicks on route 66.
Cool little piece of history. My Dad told me stories of how him and his bros and sisters would go there to buy candy wen they were kids over 60 yrs ago!!WOWSER
Great history, great story, cute shop!!
Very cool!! Really enjoyed Route 66 Roadside Attractions!!
What an awesome place to stop by! Terry is wonderful to talk to about rt66 and the neighborhood. There is beautiful flowers and an awesome street sign designating it as Sprauges. This could be improved by only a couple of things. First, a fresh cup of coffee in your hands and a pastry on a table (maybe full breakfast...i ask too much though ha) Second, something more quintessentially Rt66 to make it a better photo opportunity. Especially since its a little off the beaten trail, both things would draw more people to the location. All in all, good work Terry and the Town of Normal!
