Anderson Park

Had a great time at the Donna Toney fund raiser for her to get elected to normal city council.

Fun and safe place 4 the kids. Lots of equipment to play on, even a rock wall! Plenty of trees and 2 pavilions 4 shade. When the water park is open they have water slides, diving board, and a kiddie park.

My husband and I just sat at the picnic tables to have a quick lunch. Its a nice and quiet place. Plenty of garbage cans and recycling bins. They also have a nice bathroom.

Clean, spacious park with a basketball court, nice playground and picnic area.

Variety of things to try, lots of ramps easily accessible.

So much to do here.. its a relaxing place to party play basketball and exercise.. and its alot of friendly ppl there

Park has 2 separate playgrounds, the upper one is quite a bit smaller. The lower playground is larger and has a large boulder that is used for climbing. Park is in good repair and the restrooms are generally clean. Attached is the Anderson Aquatic Center with a pool and water slide complex.

Bathrooms are clean so is the park shaded and lots of room

Very nice park!! Swimming, park play, tennis! Its always been a place to go for my family over the years! Even from when i was a child! I love how they have improved it and upgraded the park! You can play basketball, there is also a baseball field! Bathroom are always open! You can have a bbq and there is plenty of space to have one! Just overall a very good park! Great place for the family all together!! I will continue to come back!! They take great care of this park!!

Its great being able to take my kids to the pool I loved when I was their age. Its always very clean and lifeguards are VERY good at their jobs.

I was actually very surprised I didnt know it had all that usually from the bus all you see is the baseball field never knew all that was back there I was very grateful that the bathrooms were clean but the door was hard to open special being in the wheelchair wheres the doors were a little bit more easier to open they could use some remodeling some of the ground was lifted up Ill be in the wheelchair was hard to kind of get around I thank God that the ground was not with that day it made a little bit easy travel but I was surprised about what it look like might hold something there myself one day

Nice area for children to play. Baseball fields and an outdoor basketball court accompany the park as well. Overall, a nice place!

Anderson Park is a very nice park it has nice bathrooms and some handicap accessible features! It does get overly busy sometimes but if you come at a non busy time its a really fun park to play at!!

The park feels safe, has bathrooms, a tennis court, and a pool. The park is likely difficult to drive out of because its on College.

Great park. Very large playground that has ramps for handicapped accessibility. Shelter with tables nearby for picnics. This is very close to the Childrens Museum, which also should not be missed. Also, numerous eateries nearby too.

Love taking the dog for a walk threw Anderson Park! Its beautiful! Has a gigantic play area for the kiddies. And a smaller one at the opposite side. A few good sized gazebos for barbecues and parties. Baseball diamond and basketball court.Very nice swimming pool with slides and diving boards. Also a separate area with shallow pools and toys for smaller kids. You could spend all day here. Pack a lunch basket and enjoy the day

Nice, simple park with good playground equipment, a covered area with bench-type tables, grills, and a basketball court. The place gets a little busy once the public pool opens, but its still a nice place to go for a young family.

Very nice park located in the middle of Normal. The park has many features including picnic shelters and a pool.

Though this park isnt as close as a couple others I enjoy this one too. It has trees, benches, a few picnic tables which is a plus for me. Its clean, a d the playground equipment is in great condition.

Had a nice picnic lunch here. Plumbed bathrooms were a nice bonus!

This was a very nice park even though we have a short stop. I was with a daycare group and we just used the pavilion to eat lunch. Seemed clean and well kept.

Clean, shady and somewhat quiet. Always a good park to go to. If you have kids, there is a really nice playground.

Big park keeps the little ones entertained for hours. Has a short little interactive trail thats pretty cute too.

Great playground, lovely space for a picnic. We walked the learning trail then did yoga in the grass...Bathrooms are locked but There is a super clean portapoty.
