Ive only taken a couple of walks through this park after visiting the library. Shares a lot/structure with the library and other Civic Center buildings so theres plenty of free parking. The sculptures flank a big twisting path that has no stairs but might be a little steep for a wheelchair. There are some picnic tables and places to sit, but a lot less shade than you might expect. Great way to spend 20-40 minutes if youre in the area.Tips? Wear a hat or sunglasses, come earlier in the day if possible. If youre playing Pokemon Go there are 3 gyms basically touching right here.
Beautiful garden and open spaces with art sculptures and a wandering path that leads to the public library. They also have 12+ EV charging station with rates by kw. Great place to charge up and wander a bit.
Great place! However felt unsafe. There was too much homeless people asking for handouts. This was constant. Feels like homeless people are everywhere in our trip in California.
Its a nice loop walk with some sculptures to see as you go. I particularly liked the bridge spanning the marsh. If I lived closer, Id walk this regularly.
Very pretty walk to see sculptures. Nice landscaping. Kind of noisy from nearby traffic.
The Roadside America app pointed out a sculpture here of a rabbit stone henge. We detoured here and really enjoyed the sculptures in the park. The park had excellent parking in the municipal lot, and great paths to the various sculptures. Well worth the stop.
Interesting. Walked through it on my way to the library.
Nice trail. Could use more park benches or water fountains. And parking
Nice desert themes
Right next to the Newport Beach Public Library, the sculpture park is a nice place to walk and few some interesting and somwhat eccentric pieces of outdoor, park sculpture. The park is dog friendly and includes an awsome viewpoint of Newport.
I love this place. Its a great spot for dogs, picnics and sunsets!
Such a neat walk to see all the sculptures
