I... Love... This Area... ! Enough said... The beach is awesome, the views are awesome, the tidal pools and rocks are awesome... If you or a family member are handicap you can park about as close as you can get if there a spaces available (The historic area)... plus they offer sand wheelchairs! Even if you have to park on the other side of PCH they offer a shuttle. On the beach you can rent portable fire pits/grills.The day we went this last time there were some oil spots coming from the ocean so be aware but it wasnt bad...

One of most beautiful places I’ve been to. Gotta go for the sunset or else it’s pointless. Lots of sea critters on the rocks. Very cool place to check out

We have been coming to Crystal Cove for 35 years. We took our children when they were little, then as teen ages. We are now taking our Grandchildren, it is just the best.

Beautiful state beach. Has 5 handicapped parking stalls. The rest had a bit of a walk to the beach or wait for the shuttle.

Three miles of beach and underwater park. You can surf, body board, swim, look at sea life and relax on the beach. There are two restaurants one on the cliffs another on the sand. Reserving cottages is through State Parks. But pop in for a last minute check and ask the front desk if there are cottage cancellations. Cottage room rates are very low.

I love this beach and the beach cottages they have are so adorable. Its a little bit of a walk to get down there but you can also take the shuttles they have running. Its a nice little treasure and there are tons of tidepools along the shore.

My favorite place for an invigorating walk every Sunday morning. On the beach, on the street level paths (also good for biking) or, like in my case, combining both. Friendly environment, good for families, safe for kids, great to walk the dogs...It can be enjoyed all year long. Many movie scenes were filmed here. The beach house of Beaches is part of the Historic District Cottages. Plenty of parking. Good restrooms. The Beachcomber Cafe is at the beach by the cottages.

Beautiful Beach! Easy Parking (but pricey if you dont have an annual pass). This beach as cool rock formations, tide pools, and a few spots where its easy to swim away from the rocks.

I love this place. The beach is beautiful. There is hiking. And we always meet such wonderful people. A few years ago my husband and I went to a restaurant for our annivesary and someone we didnt know purchase us wine. Yesterday we met a wonderful family from Arizona. Great people, great beach.

One of the most beautiful beaches that is secluded since you do have to pay a fee to enter. My husband had actually proposed to me on the beach on a Sunday evening. It was the most memorable thing aside from my wedding. I couldnt have asked for a better scenery than this.

One of the great beaches in Orange County. And the Beachcomber is the perfect place to watch the sunset with a drink or a great meal. And if you can get into the sign up window, staying in the vintage cabins is a terrific experience!

Great place for a long ambling walk along the coast or high up on the bluffs and where you can visit the historic Crystal Cove community and watch for whales. Parking is cheaper on the inland side of the PCH where you are not forced to pay for an entire day @ 15$

Cant say enough about this beach. We started bringing our little kids to Crystal Cove in 1983 and earlier this year, started bringing the grandkids. Spent our 40th anniversary there a couple of weeks ago. Lots and lots of good, happy memories of this place!

For the State Park -- not sure google maps has an icon for it -- had to pay $15 for day use pass but was worth it for excellent loop route -- access to beach then hit Rubys for a shake and took the upper trail back to parking lot 1.

No sidewalk or trails to access from hotels in the town (walking or jogging), no alternate routes due to gated communities on either side of the highway, makes the mandatory five dollars an hour parking even harder to swallow for a trip to crystal cove.
