The home looks exceptionally beautiful. We reserved it through VRBO. We decided that it would be wise to cancel our trip due to Covid19. We cancelled 27 days prior to our reservation. RIver City Resorts refunded us a portion but kept $90 for fees. Im sure its in the fine print somewhere, but it sure feels inappropriate and excessive.

As you plan your trips this summer, beware of River City. We stayed at Camp Warnecke last summer and had a terrible experience. Some things were small issues - old rough towels, a cockroach running around, and a so-so mattress. The big issue was terribly frustrating though. One morning while sitting on the balcony having coffee, the sliding glass door just popped and the entire pane just fractured. You could visibly see the fracture started near the top of the glass, nowhere near where we were. We immediately called the front desk and requested maintenance come look at it. We were told not to worry about it and thanks for letting them know. For 2 days we had a glass door in dangerous condition with 2 kids there, and never had further contact from the office. A week later, they hit our credit card for $500 in addition to keeping the security deposit. It was evident this was due to settling, and the back door had obviously been replaced recently too. So if you choose to stay here, beware - your deposit + other unexpected charges will be used to help them maintain aging components that are their responsibility but blamed on you.

My dealings with River City Resorts were phenomenal. I mostly dealt with Med and Micha who were extremely friendly and accommodating to my needs. Im very grateful for the services they provided and Ill be returning soon. Thank you Ladies.

Condo was clean and in a great location. Communication from management company was excellent.

The condo we stayed in was fabulous, it was clean and bright. The people at river city resorts were friendly and helpful. The location of our condo was excellent we were right on the Como river. We will definitely use this rental agency again. Thank you.

I do not recommend booking anything through river city resorts and I will not be coming back here for another stay. The entire weekend I was there, my group and I couldn’t even walk around the condominiums without having the security guard on our backs. We would just walk down to the river and he had to follow us to the river and back to our trucks and so forth. It made me very uncomfortable having someone on my back shoulder throughout the entire weekend. Also, we respected the rule of only 2 vehicles parked at the property by having 2 vehicles parked at he condos and he rest in the public parking down the road. However, when we arrived at the condos initially we were unloading our luggage before we went to park the vehicles in the public parking and not even 5 minutes had passed by since we arrived and a lady that was in charge was chewing our butts for parking. Not even 5 minutes after arriving!!! And all we were doing was unloading the vehicles. This made me feel unwelcome right from the start.Lastly, I noticed shortly when after I arrived that the trash cans by the river were completely full of garbage. The family that was down there started using their own trash bags to throw trash in due to having nowhere to throw it. The security guard and the lady in charge chewed there butts for that.If you like a place where you are continuously being watched and fussed at about unnecessary things, this is the place to go. I will not be coming back to river city resorts.

No one is never there for you to check in ..Office always empty...

Terrific service! Helpful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and accomodating. We were celebrating our sons 16th birthday Labor Day weekend, and Dinah and the staff made him a happy birthday sign, iced down Root Beer & had delicious bakery cookies waiting for him in the condo upon arrival! So unexpected, thoughtful, personal & generous! We will definitely use River City on our next trip!

Terrible service. I am maid of honor for my sisters wedding, we are all in our mid 20s and I let the girl know that there would be six of us for a bachelorette weekend. We would be gone all day and needed the condo just to sleep. They were very rude and told us we couldnt stay there. Why would you open a condo on the river if you have restrictions on who can stay there?Anyways, not pleased with the service.
