Such a beautiful mural. The wings look like lace but the artwork is a love letter to Nash. Go early to avoid the lines. But, know that if youre a solo traveler, youll need to get lucky (like me) and find one other solo traveler that you can trade taking snapshots with! Really neat spot! I stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was nobody there, so it was nice to take a few photos without being rushed. Ive seen photos of the line down the street so I was prepared to wait in line and was pleasantly surprised to see nobody there. I figured this was a must-see spot while I was in Nashville on vacation.

Its no wonder that this is one of the most photographed spots in Nashville! The artist did an amazing job.

Definitely my favorite mural! The pictures look amazing! Im very pleased. We went 2 weeks ago to pick up food nearby and we noticed there was no line for taking pictures. It was a blast!

I took my daughter around mid-afternoon on a Wednesday. We were expecting to wait a while in line but were greatly surprised to walk right up! Fun little place to do a impromptu photo shoot with my youngest.

I took my nieces and fiance to visit and they loved it. It is pretty and weve got some fantastic pictures.

It was some line, but it was fast. Make sure you have some water with you, there is no shade there. After you took a pic, go and rest in E+rose(unusual smoothies) or Honey and Milk(coffee).

This mural is really up building and it makes you proud to be a part of Nashville be it that you are visiting or staying you need to see this. Love it

Found the wings I see all the time! Even the puppers got in on it. My little chubby cherub. Had fun walking around seeing sites and finding the murals.

I mean, what’s there to write? It’s a mural, with some markings on the ground for people to wait in line. It looks good, but is it worth the wait?Maybe.I wouldn’t go out of my way again to see it but if you’re nearby and killing time (waiting to get into a restaurant) then it might not be a bad idea if the line isn’t too long.

These wings have a very strong reputation in Nashville and around the country. Really cool to see but to wait an hour or more with so many other unique things this town has to offer it is a bit overrated. Fellas, let me help you get some time back because your significant other may be one of those that HAS to get this picture... head across the street and get one in 2 minutes... or you can wait in line. Overall this is cool to see but spending more than 20 minutes there feels like a poor choice of time spent in Nashville.

Be prepared to stand in line - but not for too long. We loved how kind others were - taking photos for us and we returned the favor. Located near a parking garage entrance/exit so if you are with children be mindful of that!

Nashville has many murals like these. This one is one of the best that I liked. Nashville is a beautiful city with lots of nice restaurants, music, good people and nice clubs to visit. This mural is located in the Gulch. Don’t miss this area, lots to do.

I see this mural all the time on womens dating profiles. What guy needs online dating when he can just hangout here wearing a shirt or hat from his hometown and wait for a group of women to comment that they are from there. The line is almost all women. My kids and I skipped the line and found some other murals instead where there was no line.

Cool site to see and snap a pic, very busy and there is a long line mid day. Recommend going early morning to save time!

A beautiful rendition of large angel wings seasoned with southern images such as cowboy boots, hats, and other images that give a lace pattern. Made by an artist @kelseymontagueArt The only thing missing is you in the center. This is a popular attraction for taking photos. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm and there was a line of people about 20 min long. There is also a shorter mini set of wings for the younger kids.

There was a line as I expected but it wasnt as long as I thought it would be. We only had to wait around 20 mins on a Saturday afternoon. Theres a parking place across the street that gives the first hour free which is super nice and convenient. Definitely worth doing this once to have a memory that lasts forever. Fun!

One of the most amazing cities Ive ever visited have gone back twice since first time and then have a third visit planned for the future if you ever get a chance to visit Nashville you should jump on that wagon and ride it all the way down town such a beautiful beautiful place so many attractions close by I mean too many attractions to name off I mean for crying out loud to take you an hour just to walk downtown just just looking around not even going in anywhere museums culture centers just loads and loads and loads of stuff to do what a great little town I really enjoyed visiting definitely going back

Nashville has some of the best Murals in the Country and the Lifts my wings mural is magical. Come early if you want your picture taken. Although the lines can sometimes be long it moves pretty quickly. Everyone is kind and considerate.

I love to see the murals around town but the lines are pretty long to get a photo. I know I may have to take a few shots to get it right but people seem to be right there in your personal space waiting and watching so its hard to get comfortable to me. But nice nonetheless. I see there are tours that take you around but ai doubt you would have time to get murql pics on a tour.

Super cool...but get there early! We got there around 10am and the line was around and down the block!

Be ready to stand in line for about 30 minutes. Unless you go during the night time when there’s little to nobody there. The spot is really cool I’m originally from California and I personally felt like I needed this picture. However there’s many murals in Nashville that are as beautiful but these wings are just gorgeous. I highly recommend just be prepared to wait in line hopefully the sun is not too hot

Such a beautiful spot for photography, especially at night. Be careful though, because its right in front and on the right side of a parking garage entrance/ exit. Definitely stay in the designated area for taking pictures, which looks like a bike lane.

Visited Nashville for the first time in 2018 and was told about wings mural. They are lovely in person but be prepared for a 20-30 min wait during the day. Kelsey Montague is the mural artist and she does awesome work!

Yes, it is a very touristy thing to go and take a photo here. Take some time to actually look at the wings and how much detail was put into it. Its there for you to take a photo with! There is always someone theyre willing to take your photo if you go alone!

Even having to stand in line with all the tourist.... it was worth it. Just the experience alone was awesome. Getting to meet people from out of town, plus getting frozen lemonade ice tea samples while waiting was yum! Im happy we finally stumbled across it. Its a must if youre in Nashville

There was a long line just to take a selfie here, but it was a sunny Saturday and about 2:00 so Nashville itself was crowded. Even tho the line was long it moved along quickly and we only ended up waiting for 15 minutes or so.

Awesome spot to get a picture next to very cool art! Love the name whatliftsyou. The wings are beautiful and the little set next to it is great for kids or pets. Im shocked at the many low reviews due to the fact of waiting In a long line... Obviously it intrigued people enough to see it, but didnt have the patience to enjoy and understand it may take a while! Well, our group of 8 went AT NIGHT, hopped out of our cars, waited for 2 people, then each person in the group snapped a pic. We didnt wait long at all, so Id suggest a night photo to those that dont want to wait in long lines. We picked up ice cream and went just in case there was a long line. Just find something to do to keep you busy if there is a line. No big deal! Also, if your husband is like mine and doesnt take the best photos, make sure to tell whoever takes the pic to back up and get the whole set of wings lol! Good luck to those that decide to get pics! Again these are night pics just to give you the idea it still looks totally fine! *Also We went March 24th, tons of people in town during spring break, and again only waited for a few people. Plan around and think ahead!

I just love this artistic mural. It is uplifting indeed. I also took a beautiful photograph of my daughter standing in front of the wings. It’s got to be one of the most photographed sites in Nashville. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the time.
