Players Choice is an awesome place to go if you have any interest in comics, video games, retro arcade games, and much more. Definitely worth visiting while youre in the Myrtle Beach area, as I always do when I come once a year or so. I am so glad that COVID-19 has not affected this business, as it is such a cool place to visit and/or shop!

Love coming here! They have a super cool shop, with many comics and handbooks. Everything from kids toys, horror comics, old video games/consoles, to prints of games/anime. This place has to be the only thing keeping this mall open. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly and helpful! Love it here

Large expansive variety of games from literally every console system and hand held. Tons of accessories and comic books and other merchandise that is unique and awesome. I was blown away. My wife and I who are millenials were very impressed. The game prices are competitive and lower than what Ive seen with a typical small town game shop and we came from MN.

I used to shop here. Cool arcade, retro content, and knowledgeable staff but in 2020 Im not hanging out in a shop where half of the clients and none of the staff wear masks despite a local ordinance mandating them in indoor facilities. I love small shops but bought my books at BAM instead.

If you grew up in the 80s or 90s, you will probably love this store! My husband was so excited to see a bunch of arcade games that he played as a child! He was also excited to play them with our children! I loved how every game was just a quarter! This store also has lots of old Nintendo video games, comic books, figurines and many other neat things!

This takes me back to my youth. 70s and 80s games and more. Pretty large for this type of store. Nice selection. We went twice on our last Myrtle Beach vacation and will be back in about three weeks again.

Player’s Choice is the best place in Myrtle Beach/North MB for all your retro needs from old school games, comics, toys and they even give you the most top dollar for you traded ins. The bonus are 70s / 80s ARCADES you can play .25 a games like back in the days. So please stop you’ll be happy I told you so.

Every decent game and system is $10-$20 above market value, sometimes more. The condition of the games is ok, but it’s not worth it. I’m not paying $80 for Pokémon Colosseum. Just go to a GameStop.

We always enjoy a stop here when we are at the Beach. They have a great Pop collection.

This is a fantastic arcade. Almost all of the famous games from the 80s and 90s are represented here across the two stores, and all of them are only a quarter to play. Several pinball machines are also there to play as well. Its good to see all the historic machines in playable order, even some rare machines.

Always enjoyable to take the kids to play games and buy merchandise that my kids collect. They always have something different to collect each time we go to add to their collections. Very friendly service!!

The place is amazing!! It has retro video games, comics, anime, posters, a chance to play arcade games and more!! The person at the register, Josh, is a kind person to talk to. The people there are helpful and you will have a great time there. The prices are reasonable and not too expensive.

This place is expansive and amazing. It has something for every console and hand held available as well as other merchandise ranging from comic books to posters and other Nik-nak collectables. 2 arcades, 1 inside and 1 next door by the same owner. Phenomenal.

An absolutely legendary cornucopia of nerdy things. Manga, western comics, dnd books and supplies, and merch in those related universes. The real gem, however, was thousands of games from wildly varying systems, and a smattering of old consoles. While I didn’t see anything too obscure (though they may have had a NeoGeo or Jaguar section I missed), there is definitely plenty for a retro gamer or collector to take a gander at. Prices were reasonable, they know what they have and value it accordingly. Staff was friendly and helpful, yet not overbearing.Stock is organized well, but there is a LOT of stuff. It was slightly overwhelming at first, but there is something for everyone.

This place is amazing! They have used games from just about every console released since the 80s. They also have 50+ retro arcade games and pinball machines, all of which are 25 cents per play. My wife, kids, and I drove up from Charleston and had a blast. It was well worth the trip.

A little pricey but its the only choice in Myrtle Beach for retro games. Systems are priced about 15% higher than eBay or comparable local sellers. Game selection is good but nothing mind blowing in store for serious collectors. Still worth the stop, just go in with tempered expectations.

Very cool place.about 15 stand up video consoles.a south park pinball machine,a few shoot em up games,motorcycle and driving sit down games and all of them only 25 cents per play.i could spend all day here.definitely will be back.if you havent been here you must stop by and check it out.

My oldest son (19) was so happy to find this place last year when we came to Myrtle Beach that he stayed there while we went to Broadway at the Beach for 4 hrs. He didnt want to leave.

All the arcade machines are 25 cents love going to this place to play and look at all the games and comics

I always stop here when we visit the beach. Lots of great Collectibles, prices are fair, and the arcade is a nice throwback. I usually buy at least one thing to support a unique, small business. If you want to geek out this is the place to go.

I love the place. The staff is helpful. They have what you want or know how to get it. Not only do they have retro games, they also carry popular card games such as Magic The Gathering. Along with their massive supply of comics, graphic novels, manga, and memorabilia, they also fund a retro arcade right next door! Players Choice cares about their customers and they go the extra little bit to make sure we know they care.

Earlier I made a call for them to reserve me a Nintendo 64 and they will. And back in 2017 I bought a GameBoy Advance SP And it works great! I give it 5 stars

Arcade machines, retro and modern console games, pop figures, comic books. Players choice had it all, a nerds paradise. Probably the only reason to go to that mall. Its not the best choice, its players choice!

Cool video game items. Not just games but shirts, toys/collectibles, board games(old and new), comic books, movies, other random items. Just a neat place for a little nostalgia.

This is a hidden gem. We decided to walk around the mall before a movie and popped into this store. Wall to wall games, comics, pops. Anything you could imagine in your nerdiest dream. If you get a chance, I highly recommend stopping by this place. Helpful tip: bring lots of money, because youll want to buy everything inside.

Highly recommended if you like old games and only $.25 a game. They stay pretty busy and its easy to see why. Theres not many places that offer such a nostalgic selection as they do. The store side has almost any game and system ever made plus comics and other memorabilia.

I enjoy this store. Yet, I will no longer do business here.I wanted to grab my wife some Magic the Gathering cards. The new set comes with limited fancy Collector packs. I asked if they would be selling any and if so I would love to purchase 1 pack, the manager told me he was undecided on whether he would sell the product or buy it all for himself since it may inflate in price. He told me to come back tomorrow. Arrive the day after and inquire, they were all sold. This may not mean much to some but when it comes to licensed product I just think it looks terrible, I feel like product is sent to you to be sold? It also feels bad, I only wanted one for my wife since she is showing interest solely for the fairy tale aspect of this new set.

The Players Choice Arcade is the best arcade I have been in since 1987! They have some very hard to find games and ALL of them are in excellent shape. My favorite part is that all the games are 25¢ and take a just like an arcade should!! Very impressive

I live in Ohio and purchased off the Players Choice website. This game was for my 8 year old son who is obsessed with tornadoes and he is so happy! Amazing gamer/nerd store! All the comic, manga, and video game goodies you could hope for. What REALLY makes it a must see, however, are all the old and vintage arcade cabinet games in store and in the arcade next door. I could spend hours and a hundred dollars in quarters in a place like this. Highly recommend!

Theres a huge selection. Prices are fair on some things but a little high on others but at least they carry so much and thats a huge plus for a brick and mortar. The arcade would get more than 5 stars were it an option. Employees are very nice too!

Large selection, including many unusual and hard to find systems / titles. ( I was more curious than anything as I used to write 8-bit games for the Atari platform back in the 1980s, its good to see a revival in interest in these systems. ) Next door is a coin-op arcade with with many classic machines. Many of which I still suck at. Fun place. They also ship, so if you cant visit, check out their inventory.

One of the coolest places I have ever been. They have a great selection of Comics, Toys, Video Games and other great Collectibles. The staff is awesome and the owner is very cool. They have video games in the store and a separate arcade that will bring you right back to the mid 80s. All the games are only a .25 and they even have an old school jukebox. I can spend all day here without spending a lot of money. They are located right across from the movie theatre so I usually stop in before or after catching a flick. I highly recommend stopping into this super shop for some good family fun.

AMAZING store!! The mall is rather empty id love to see them thrive somewhere else! People are so nice! I got an awesome 11x17 print for only $5. Also their arcade is worth seeing. 5 stars! :)
