Super fun arcade! Lots of game choices and fair pricing! Cant wait to go back

Today we went to Fun Plaza for our first time, and we had a blast! I really loved seeing all of the antique arcade games, especially the digger claw machines! I spent most of my money on the claw machines, and ended up winning a lot of neat things. All of the arcade machines were in working order, and I noticed the employees constantly cleaning the machines. Kudos for their hard work, and I loved seeing the glass on the machines so shiny! I loved playing the antique digger claw games, and it was a lot harder to play then I expected. Ive wanted to play one of them for a while. I also enjoyed playing the tabletop claw machines, they were fun. Overall a really fun place to play both modern and antique arcade games, and I highly recommend this place!

Sept. 14, 2020: Spent about 90 minutes here. Loved the old time baseball game!

Ive been coming here since I was a kid in the 70s! They have done a really good job of updating the games so they have a great mix of new games but have kept all the classics like baseball. That game specifically is one of my familys favorite!!!

I come to Myrtle Beach all the time but never have time to check out the boardwalk. My boys and I went walking and came across this place and of course they wanted to go in. I was so amazed at all the games available. I know during COVID-19 things are a little different and nerve wracking. There was always someone walking around cleaning, making sure games are working and checking on you. We had a blast. This is our last night here so thinking this is our activities for tonight! Will come every visit.

We visited during our Myrtle Beach trip. It is right on the boardwalk and easy to get to. Definitely one of the better arcades. It has a lot of the classic games like skii ball and many modern arcade games as well. Best of both worlds. The prices for the games are reasonable also. You get a game card that you can store your tickets and cash on, all you have to do is swipe your card on the games. Once you are done playing games, you take the card to the prize booth to exchange your tickets. Going again tomorrow.

Always a big fan of that gameroom when here. Baseball, a very old game that has kept its name up in that facility. Employees are also very helpful and available when needed

In a town where most places overcharge you, this place was amazing for how far your money could be spent on your kids. We went in to kill some time and my son had a blast for an hour on $8.00. It was a very nice classic beach arcade feel and great games. We will definitely visit again in the future

Was a ton of fun. Easy to spend $100. Very nice staff. Awesome games. They have a claw machine for Mario!!! They also have a drivable mario kart machine thing. Just a really cool place to go!

Old fashioned Pavilion style arcade. Everything from vintage games to brand new top-of-the-line large arcade games.

Love taking my boy here 2-3times a week for some game play

Wandering on the boardwalk never is tiresome for you encouter pleasant places such as Fun Plaza. Ive always been fond of pinball machines and one game can last an hour long. I sometimes have to run back to my folks when Im done. I find the amusement venue to be appropriately chosen.

Lots of games. Great family atmosphere. Would help if workers were more visible near the entrance to answer questions and help you get started.

We always have fun there. It a good place to take your kid. They also upgraded the place with a bunch of new games. They got a/c so it that hot any more. It was quite comfortable this year.

Had a great time on my birthday there. This was our last stop and the games were so much fun!

Its been a tradition since I was a child to go here for arcade games. Now that I have kids I always make time to take them here. It hasnt changed much but all the games always work and its always super fun. All the games use quarters and they have all the classics that you grew up with. Plus the location is great because its right by the ocean and food and there are many resorts nearby too within walking distance.

Fun place for families to go to but they need to clean the bathrooms more often the female bathroom was disgusting

I love the older games here. They have lots of pinball machines, skeet ball and simple games for us young at heart. Its the best arcade in Myrtle.

As for the games, they were ok. We were in there around 5:30pm, and the crowd was what some would call seedy. May be a good place during summer months and during the afternoon, but wouldnt recommend when that sun goes down.

Very fun games and updated to card credits, so no carrying a pocket of tokens

Enjoyed the semi-old school feel with a wall of skee ball machines (50 cents through the fun card) and a wall of old baseball games (25 cents, a real quarter!) that were good fun even though some of them were not functioning properly. My 3-year old son and teenage nephew enjoyed a bunch of other games, too.

We loved this place.

This place is awesome! Would never have gone in there on my own but somebody suggested it to us on vacation. Wide assortment of games! We basically played the baseball/pinball game over and over again for an hour. It only costs a quarter and is super addicting.

Ive been to a lot of arcades and this was one of the cleanest Ive ever been to. Great selection of games and prizes for everyone. My daughter and I had a great time!

This place was fun for the family. Ages from 20 to 9 and 3 adults and we had a blast. Not super expensive and the baseball game is awesome.

My teens and little kids loved it here. Stays super crowded in summer. Right on board walk.

Super fun place with a great selection of games. We spent a few hours here and didnt spend much. There is a game for everyone here. When I needed help, Joey was there to help! He saved the day when I lost my card. Give him a raise!

Been coming for years. This was the latest in the years and I was worried they would not be open or reduced hours. Got to play the new centipede game!!The place is ALWAY clean. The one guy I assume is the owner is almost always there which is the hallmark of a good business. Great mix of classic and modern games. Friendly staff. Wished they had a couple of pinball machines. A must goto spot.

Fun time and really good prizes for tickets. Got 3 really cute souvenir coffee mugs and a few shot glasses for all our tickets.

Kids had a great time. Nice air conditioning on a hot day. There are tons of games but most are a dollar per play. The prizes are high as well.

No visit to Myrtle Beach is complete without a stop at the Fun Plaza for some fun and time well wasted. Whether youre a kid or just a kid at heart, theres something for everyone here to enjoy. The nostalgia of the baseball games alone are worth a visit.

I spend all day playing the old school baseball games trying to rack up the runs. At 25 cent a game it a great way to relax.

Liked it better before they switched to the card system, but still the best arcade around.

Definitely good, old school fun. My kids (6 and 8) loved it. I dont think much has changed in this pavilion since I was there as a kid in the 80s. But that is part of the charm. Loved watching my kids have fun with these old and new school games. A must for any family or anyone just seeking a little nostalgia.

Fun Plaza is the BEST!!! We visit every time we are in Myrtle, usually a few different times during our stay. They have a lot of retro machines, as well as some newer machines. We are both adults, no kids, and still find this place to be the most fun out of everything Myrtle has to offer. Cant wait to visit again during our vacation in August!!

Some games still take quarters other require a fun card.

Having so much fun you have to be careful not to overspend!

What more can you say about this but it is an Arcade for Kids and will bring out the inner Child In Almost Every adult.There is everything from Skee ball to Chance games, photo booths and smaller childrens coin operated rides.There is a concession stand inside as well.And for those who remember, there are the Old Time Pinball Baseball games, some up from and more on the back. The front machines require 24 runs to win a prize and the back ones require 28 runs to win a prize.There is boardwalk access from the rear of the Fun Plaza and beach access just a few feet away from the rear exit.-- Review was posted May 27th 2018.

Excellent arcade right in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Well taken care of, clean, all the games work. Great friendly folks run the place.

Great mix if old time boardwalk arcade and new games

An awesome place for a kid.You can win some really cool prizes here and just have am awesome time while playing games and winning tickets to exchange for toys and items.

This place is fun, and has some cool prizes that are actually possible to obtain. We ended up with about $25 in real value worth of prizes for my son after spending about $50. I call that a win, considering any prizes weve won at other arcades have just been cheap junk.I must say, the boardwalk arcade a few doors down is much nicer and cooler, but I dont think we wouldve come away with anything my son would actually want or use, unlike the prizes we ended up with here!

Favorite attractionBeen going since I was a kid. So many memories. Love the baseball games.

Loved it, my wife found a game from her childhood with her late father. Brought back memories.

I came here to have fun but they charge an insane amount. 1.50 per play?!! on some games its even more. I just played the 25c games. Everything else is overpriced.
