We took the islet tour which went to the south and is considered to view more of nature. It was so beautiful. The pilot was awesome. Ride was smooth.The only thing was that their gopro was not in order. That would have been nice to have gopro capture the experience in depth. But it was still pretty cool adventure

My Husband and I had such a fun and exciting adventure. We loved our Helicopter tour and would definitely recommend going! Everyone was super friendly and professional. Definitely worth every penny!!

We visited after black friday shopping. For how busy it was, the young man in the glasses did an excellent and efficient job going over safety precautions and walking us to our helicopter. our pilot Ritch was amazing. He knows the area very well and talked to us about good places to visit in the area. Please tip your pilot they deserve it. I will be back on my next vacation.

This is a must-do. My new husband and I came to Myrtle Beach on our honeymoon and this was the first activity we did! We did the north beach tour and it was so fun! Its about 7 miles which flies by in 5 minutes or so. We cant wait to do another tour!

Awesome Experience. We went on the North Myrtle Beach tour which lasted about 6 mins from start to finish. Worth every Penny. Check out our channel to see a video on it. The Male Employee who was working inside was very friendly, never pressured us to upgrade. Our Pilot did an amazing job. I think the Takeoff and Landing was the coolest part, flying really low to the ground. The view of the Ocean and Myrtle Beach was Amazing! Dont listen to all the reviewers complaining about how short the $20 ride is, you need to have realistic expectations. We didnt purchase the Headsets they offered for $5 more, dont think you need it but it may give you the cool factor.

We loved this experience! Even though we had to wait for about an hour to get in the helicopter it was really worthy. My kids loved it! The pilot was very nice and he was explaining to us everything we were seeing. Overall a great experience.

It was an incredible experience with my boys it was their first time flying in a helicopter. They were so thrilled. Its an easy process to go by. The people there are great very helpful and patient. Safety is everywhere to start to finish. The pilot was very friendly to all of us telling us details about where to go in Myrtle Beach alarm the food to the attractions and the places we could find shark tooth.

Prices were comparable to other places. They moved fairly quickly and it was pretty busy. Staff was super nice and pilot was awesome. Yes the ride is quick, we did North tour, but so much to see in that small window. Thank you for such a great experience!

$20/per person, which is the lowest price, which is obviously the quickest ride. Me + my 2 kids rode together = $60. I didnt realize the ride would only be around about 2 minutes. It was fun & cool especially since it was each of our first time on a helicopter ride & my son does NOT do things like this. I was so proud to have talked him into it. All in All it was absolutely plenty for first times for each of us. Someday well bump up to longer rides. BUT I do have to say this ALSO They did not take our picture at the copter like Id seen you could additionally purchase sort of like pix from coaster rides.

We took a small tour with Oceanfront. We had a very nice trip and we cant wait to go back for a longer trip. Our pilot was really nice and the flight was very smooth. They took our picture in front of the helicopter, i highly recommend getting a copy our pilot was giving us a thumbs up in the background from inside the helicopter.

Attentive, professional, fast, I consider a good cost and they offer specials, you can use discount coupons, and they even offer you for the number of people you are going to send on the flight. very exciting

Definitely one of the coolest experiences. I took my twin 12 year old girls up and the pilot Aaron was great. The kids were apprehensive at first but Aaron is an amazing pilot and we had an awesome flight with an amazing view. Thanks again. Well be back for a longer tour soon.

Intro flight was really quick. My fault. I should have noticed the 2 mile trip listing, but, I didnt. No since in purchasing online. You have to stand in line and wait for everyone else to purchase before you can get your boarding tickets. Attendant taking pictures forgot to hit print. Waited 45 minutes for pics, retake, and still had to wait. Mowing this, we would do it again, for a longer trip though.

I came here for a ride with my dad. The pilots were very friendly and the views were AMAZING!!! If you dont mind being in a helicopter and love an ocean view you need to try this place! They will also provide you with noise cancelling headphones for your convenience if you pay extra.

So worth it. Did the $50.00 ride and it was so cool. Our pilot was amazing and a great tour guide. Its so peaceful even though I am scared of heights. The pilots can get tips and I wish the website mentioned something about that as we only had a few bucks on us. Told them I would write this in the review as I wish I could of tipped more. So much fun

This was so worth the money! Everyone was nice and we really enjoyed our ride. Only thing I didnt like was having to split up our family of four. We all couldnt enjoy together and had to fly in separate helicopters. Other than that it was an awesome experience!!

Great location but the place is showing its age. We stayed for a week on the 10th floor. We seemed to wait long periods of time for elevators to go up to our room and back down. Definitely need more elevators for the amount of people that stay there.

Very fun and price isnt bad $20 (per-person) for a ride over the beach! The views are amazing and the pilots are great. Im only giving 4 stars due to the man who was working the concession stand, very rude. They also dont pay attention to those picking up pictures/videos.

Great views and pilots, however, the young tall “manager” with glasses was really rude. Did not give us instructions other than pointing and was rude when we were expected to know what to do. Never went on a helicopter ride until today. He blamed his rudeness for me going towards back of helicopter but when I got out i went to the front where they were standing with the others like everyone else had did. Never did they say wait for them let alone give any guidance on what to do. He just didn’t say anything and pointed. When we said he was rude he then yelled at my fiancé and I to get off the pad and tried to humiliate us in front of everyone rather than explain the problem. Very unprofessional and could have been prevented if he gave proper instructions rather than assuming people know what to do and just point. When I called to complain and asked for a manager he answered. Then trying again blame us for the problem and when I asked to speak to his boss he then said no and at the point I had to hang up because he was very unprofessional and childish. He ruined our experience. Not to mention having to pay 50$ for a 2 min ride that we had to wait 30-40 minutes for and for him to just be rude. Would have been very well worth it if there was a better manager and guidance when getting on and off the helicopters.

The pilot was Attentive. The helicopters are some of the best in their class. For the price I will do it every time I return. 5 stars all around!

Took the tour today and enjoyed it. I arrived by myself and quicky found out that its a 2 person minimum. Since I was by myself my only choice if I wanted to go was pay for a unused seat. The girl working the desk made a suggestion that if I was ok with it maybe another group would come along that I could join. After a short few minutes sure enough a couple came along and allowed me to come along with them. It worked out well and we all enjoyed the trip.

They really need to be more forthcoming about single riders! I was by myself and was made to wait about 45 minutes with not much explanation at all on a slow day since I couldnt go by myself unless I purchased an empty seat. They eventually put me on the next flight with two other people who had just gotten there and let them choose where to sit, so the wife sat in the front and they made me sit in the back with the husband/stranger. They werent transparent at all and then other guests were horrible. The pilot was great and nice, they accept tips. Short time even for a longer distance trip.

Took a ride with this business on 10/1/20, only place on my vacation that I used my credit card. Few days later I get fraud alerts from my bank that my credit card was being used all over the country. Be aware not a good business to be using your credit card! Also told the piolets work on tips, we tipped him well, just to find out they probably sold my cc number. This place is a joke.

We bought our tickets online so we had to weigh in when we got there, and did the souvenir photo ( the price is really reasonable). We did the $20 flight and while it was short it was awesome to see the ocean and fly above it.

It was cool. They draw you in with the $20 advertisement but that is a short 2 mile ride. We leveled up and did the 7 mile ride which was $40. You have to rent the noise reduction headphones for $5. Great experience! Beautiful views! Friendly staff and pilot.

Very good experience! We bought the south beach tour and really enjoyed it. Great view of the beach. We saw a couple of sharks and a person parasailing (not near each other :)) I would definitely recommend getting the headsets so that you can hear each other and the pilot.

Efficient operation and very affordable for the novelty. The introductory flight was only about 2-3 minutes, though it did give a great view of the beach. If you can afford it, spring for a longer flight.P.S. Be ready to tip your pilot. I did $5 for my short flight (~25% of the fee).

I actually looked forward to experiencing this for the first time with my husband, when we arrived everyone was friendly and professional UNTIL we walked up to the gate. Two other couples were in line with us THAT ARRIVED AFTER US!!! And apparently they complained to the staff about the wait time.... which allowed them to jump right AHEAD OF US. My husband actually saw one of the staff members (The guy behind the gate, not the guy with the long hair) put their ticket in front of ours!!! When I asked do they go in order as to who arrived first, the worker tried to explain it depends on the weight and fuel which I understand BUT they other couples seemed to weigh more than we did, which would require more fuel so why not get us first since WE WERE ACTUALLY FIRST FROM THE BEGINNNG. Knew that was a bunch of bull! It was actually daylight when we arrived and planned on taking a picture with the package we brought but by the time the 2 couples went before us **WHO CAME AFTER US** it was dark. We decided to just leave, to make a long story short Dont go if youre on the smaller side I guess and dont mind NOT going in order as to which you arrived .

We had a blast! No better fun for $20 to be had in all of Myrtle Beach.

Helicopter was fun. It goes fast even for 15 mile tour...but the pilot was nice. The female at the counter though, was very childish when speaking with a coworker in front of customers. Would recommend.

It was a good flight along the coast with the pilot pointing out key areas.

The helicopter ride was an early birthday present given by my wife to one of our girls. What started out out as pre flight trepidation ended with a smiling triumphant landing. Needless to say she enjoyed it as it was her first ever flight.

Highly recommend for great view of beaches and area. Take some good pictures! The pilot was awesome. Flights start at 20.00 and go up, per person.

Purchased 2 north tour and headset. Kids got on but were told NOT to touch anything and were NOT instructed on use of headset. Confronted manager, Amber, which was useless pretty much said kids were lying about not being able to use headset. Experience was not up to what we paid since they could not hear each other and they would NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!!! After paying over $100 gave $11 back for headsets not no offer to take them back up or anything! Very disappointed in this company and management.

This was a fantastic time it seems a little expensive but its well worth the ride definitely dont take the $20 tour, go for at least a $40 tour its short but its worth it! Next time, I will splurge and try for the Grand tour. BEST experience ever!

The helicopter ride was absolutely amazing. Everything is safe, the employees make sure youre safe by only allowing you to walk around the front of the chopper to ensure youre not to close to the rear propeller. You must hold your hat so it doesnt fly off when the helicopter lands or while youre approaching the chopper to enter it or exit it. Its worth every penny.

Great For family and friends but I dont like how tired to spit us up from the Kids Plus they have a 300 pound Weight limit so if your over that weight you cant fly over great places to visit beside them and I wouldnt eat before I got on one of them things.

This is exactly what it looks like a tourist trap they lure you in with the $20 helicopter ride which is literally three and a half minutes it takes you up a little circle put you down the $20 turns into $30 cuz of the fees and gas charge we waited in line for about 25 minutes and noticed people that came after us were going before us when we asked why they really didnt give us a good reason other than they dont know what theyre doing it is what it is its a $20 helicopter ride what do you expect

Pilot was awesome and described things for our two children that are both legally blind so they could visualize what they couldnt necessarily see. This was there first time in any type of a aircraft. They want to do it again! We would totally recommend this place.

The $20 is what we toon as a firstimr flyer. But we could have easily done the next package up at $39. It was a 7 min ride and that would have been better than the 3 min $20 ride.

Oceanfront Helicopter Tours is an experience that everyone should have at least once in their life. Flying over Myrtle Beach was amazing. My whole family enjoyed this more than anything else during our entire beach trip. The pilots were very friendly and knowledgeable and they take their jobs very seriously. The only thing i can say negatively is that the whole family cant fly together since there is only room for three on each ride. The price was reasonable though and you can not get a better view of Myrtle Beach

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a helicopter ride over the beach. I called and the gentleman Saidi the South tour was one of the better so I booked for both of us at 45.99 per person. I also rented headsets at 5.00 each and of course a 7.00 picture. The flight lasted less than 7 minutes. No warning that picture was taken us not smiling and and oh I tipped out of kindness 20.00 so yeah a wasted 150.00. Save your money folks.

We have taken helicopter tours two weekends in a row. I highly recommend them. The staff and pilots are excellent.

Was amazing. Wish it was a longer ride, we got the $40 and it was totally worth it. Mt mom is scared of heights and she did it with me... Ended up loving it!
