I have been coming here ever since I was younger! (& now Im 23). I have always loved coming to FK and it doesnt matter your age! Its one of the last amusement parks in Myrtle and I have always had a great time
I love this place I have been coming here since I was a baby and I have been bringing my kids here since they were babies its a great place to make memories that last forever its a wonderful place for everyone big or small young or old there is something for everyone if it was bigger it would be even better maybe one day they will expand but for now its great
Great place down by the beach. We were nk impressed as to how clean the park was kept. The staff were helpful and respectful. Lines moved quickly and there were more than enough rides to keep the kids occupied. Even for those who dont ride the rides, it is nice to be able to walk in and enjoy a slice on summertime Americana along the shore. Oh, and funnel cakes!!
The amusement park in itself is fairly average. However, THE LOG RIDE IS PHENOMENAL!! I highly suggest riding the log ride 12 times, as we did. In fact, Michael and Mark(?), employees of the ride, were the most amazing people I could have ever spent my twelve rides with. Highly recommend going to see Michael and Mark at the flume.
Showing up to sky high ticket prices. Luckily the lines werent very long. Made it worth it . Its closed for the season. Awesome to check out though. Tech guys were nice
Pompous girl at the front ticket counter accused my wife and I standing with our 5 and 6 year old daughters of trying to pass a fake 100 note. Then when I asked to talk to the manager she exclaimed shes the boss. Also not true. We found the manager and explained how rude the girl was and what had happened. He did nothing. Problem is the bill is older than the rude girl. No one wearing a mask. Including the general manager. Pretty sure theres a mask order in place guy. Anyway good luck with the rude Im the boss girl. Peace. I enclosed a couple pictures of the money you people wont be receiving on our trip.
Loved the skywheel so much! It was super hot outside, so having the air conditioner in each cart was so nice. And you get your moneys worth. It goes around like 10 times and each time is very slow. The view it amazing. It was very nice and well maintained. They even had a emergency stop button it one would get scared and need to be the next cart let off. If you aren’t afraid of heights I would say this is something you will have to try out. If you are afraid of heights I would say this is something you will not want to do because it is such a long time spent in the air. It’s not like it just goes around twice and it’s done. It goes around like 10 times. Also with the pricing, we got our tickets from a 3rd party and it was like 7 dollars a person instead of 13 which makes a difference when you are on vacation spending lots of money.
My first time ever to the Myrtle beach area . We took our kids here the last night in Myrtle beach. Prices were great. Not many people at the park . It was open from 6-11 staff cleaned in between each rider. Park was clean my kids had a blast. Also want to say thank you to Diana F who works the mini bumper cars . It was so empty my only two kids were the only ones on this ride she let them ride as many times as she wanted. She even taught my son how to drive it. She was so friendly with me and my fiancé overall a great place!
Well worth the money to go even if you dont like price. Get this 21 rides out of 35 are just for kids mostly between 30 inches to 42 inches. Yes my oldest offspring finally felt being told no you can not do what your siblings are. The because has a new twist which is worth seeing their lip roll out. Till their eye catches the yes i couldnt believe it myself ROLLER COASTER. It was like a mini 6 flags park. But with all your favorite perks. Short lines and NO CUTTES passes either. No as harsh impacts on the ole joints and body but still all the thrill you are looking for.
My 14 year old nephew dropped his wallet on the bumper cars. The operator found it, probably stoled the $42 inside and turned it in empty to the lost and found. . We tried to get the management to do something but they refused!!Also, most of the rides are even to kiddioush for my 8 year old niece. The go carts were closed and only available to 18 yr and up. So my nephew didnt even get to ride go carts!!! Needless to say we will never be back. Travel Advisory: Family Kingdom is horrible
Very friendly staff! Fun riding the roller coaster. It would have been better for younger children.
Had a great time with my daughter here. If you have young kids, there are a lot of kiddie rides available!
This place was absolutely AMAZING!!! So many things to do here for families, adults, and kids. The food was pretty good...very expensive, but good none the less. The rides were awesome and fun. A great place to spend an entire day at. We visited here from pgiladelphia for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
My visit came during the Covid pandemic so a lot of the rides were closed. However, they did still have enough thrill rides open to be enjoyable. I am definitely returning on my next trip to Myrtle.
Ticket prices kinda high, many rides were closed but had a super fun time with my family. Rollercoaster Id very ruff would not recommend bad back or smaller kids be a beaten
The kids had fun. Very crowded but it was labor day weekend. Good value for the $25 wristband
Prices werent too bad, could have had a few more rides maybe bigger. For the money though they had enough for all ages. The food wasnt terribly priced either.
My family and I just enjoyed an amazing night at your park. We rode on the old fashioned or antique cars ride one time and a gentleman named Frank was coordinating and sanitizing the ride. There was an African American family infront of us in line. They were behaving EXACTLY the same way my family was. He seated them and sent them on their way. Then he seated us and as he was walking away he said to us some people just dont know how to behave in civilization, they act like theyre still in the jungle. We are white. My daughter is mixed. I guess he didnt even notice that or he might not have said it to us. I was appalled. I emailed their human resources about it and never heard a thing back. Other then that it was a fun night... But come on. Do betterI was contacted by Donnie the manager and he informed me that the employee Frank owned up to making the comment and was terminated. They handled it very well. Thank you.
The Family Kingdom is an average amusement part. Be prepared to come across a lot of stipulations when you arrive. When you purchase a wristband dont expect to get on every ride. You cant do the zipline. This is $8.00 cash. If you are a single passenger you cant ride the fairest wheel by yourself. You need two people to ride. The employee dont present an inviting appearance while you are there. The roller-coaster is really fun and exciting.
Great place to bring the whole family to enjoy fun and games... everything is great here even though it’s super hard to win anything but it doesn’t help to try and have fun.
Nice amusement park is a cornerstone of mb. Just remember your mask. There are lots of people running around in and around the park
Tremendous value for your dollars! All day pass for $53.00 for 2 ppl! Cant beat it! About 7 or 8 great rides from the Legendary Wooden Coaster to Spinatron! The Log Plume is great choice to get wet and cool off during the day! Best Mini Park since Circus Circus in Vegas!
The kids loved this place. Best part of our vacation so far.
Family Kingdom has no safety what so ever. Some rides dont even have seat belts including the log ride. The staff is nice and everyone was helpful. Prices were high i feel like you dont get your money worth .
Took kids for birthday, they had a really good time. Fun for all ages! We have been coming here for years. Local discount is a big help.
The staff were all very friendly. Regular sanitation between passengers. Decent prices as well. Great assortment of rides for kids of different ages.
Super fun amusement park. The classic Swamp Fox rollercoaster is the largest in the area. They also have a wild mouse and kiddie coaster too. You can buy an all day pass or individual tickets. The train is pretty long. The Log flume is awesome and unique with the first drop/Hill! Definitely a must for adrenaline fun.
The kids had a good time! And my honey liked reminiscing because he came to this amusement park when he was a kid. Lots of rides for all ages. Get the wristband to save money, youll get unlimited rides and if they ride 5 or 6 its worth it. Adjacent parking is $7 and there is also street parking available with meters.
Lots of fun for little ones. I try every year to bring the grand kids. we can spend entire night here. with the pavilion closed so many years ago this will be a great place to take the kids. not much for older kids but the little ones have a blast!
The people that work here definitely need to tell people put your masks on because they don’t at all! I only go here for Swamp Fox which is the best coaster at the park
Family Kingdom was very good for familys with kids of all ages. Our three year old was 43 inches tall and able to get on 14 rides by himself. He was really happy to ride the helicopter with UFO ride and loved the motorcycles. It was definitely a family environment.
We had a group of 6 so we spent $160 to ride as many rides as we could in 3 HOURS!! Their hours are posted everywhere saying 6pm-11pm. After waiting for our 2 year old to wake from his nap we took the long walk down to the park and arrived at 6:45. Everything was going well until they announced they were closing in 15 minutes at 9:45. For a small family, yes I could recommend. But for a family of 6 or more, no I do not recommend it. There is not enough time to enjoy all it has to offer and definitely not worth the price. I was very impressed with their sanitation guidelines and would give it 5 stars if they would extend their hours or atleast stay open until the time that is posted EVERYWHERE!!
Family really enjoyed themselves, great little park with all of the essential rides for teens and toddlers alike
Not crowded. Folks are social distancing and wearing mask. Hardly any wait times on the rides.
Had a great time with the family here. In these trying times it was very clean and shout out to Bernice (Mini Bumper cars) super friendly and treats these kids like gold. Thank you all for your hard work and I will be back!
Great for a date night or family time. Have fun!!
This Place gets Props for My Name....look at the Receipt.I said Tracy 3 times....lolBesides I Missed Friendlys
Walked by daily, would only see a few rides operating. Couldnt figure out what kind of schedule they have. Wanted to check out the dodge cars but never seen them operating.
Fun for the whole family and reasonable just too crowded for me and parking too high!
So many amazing memories here. We love coming here with the kids when we come on vacation. We are here almost every night. Parking is a little pricey but I guess you can expect that on vacation
Wow! Great place for kids and everyone! I bought tickets in advance through a website (vacation made easy) which were cheaper. I think this is the best place to be beyond beaches and pools...Just pay attention that some attractions u have to pay them even if u have the all day pass! Like the kart race which is very good its worth to pay it!
Always fun since I was a kid. Half the rides were closed. Not sure if due to Covid or if they were still in season.
Fun place for the family but be prepared to spend some money. Bought wristbands for the grands but still could not ride several rides without an adult. We had to purchase tickets so our youngest could ride some that required an adult. If youre not over 42 inches tall or over 12 theyll need an adult to ride. Plan on allowing yourself plenty of time, at least 4 hours to enjoy everything.
Pretty depressing theme park. Arcade was EXTREMELY dated. Rides are old and more carnival like than theme park like. Basically an old theme park being ran to keep earning $$$ on a tourist strip. Log flume was my wifes and kids highlight. They said the big roller coaster was sketchy. Staff not very friendly...all looked like they hated their jobs. It was relatively cheap, which was the only saving grace.
The safety of the wooden roller coaster is poorly safe. Sibling almost fell out of the roller coaster because the safety was terrible especially the seat belt. Will never be returning. Also very $$$$$.
Took my granddaughter and had a wonderful time.......the roller coaster looked exactly like the one we had back in Nashville Tennessee many years ago at an amusement park named Fair Park
Great place for the kids to enjoy themselves. They had a blast!
This place was a joke!!Needs to be shut down and remodeled it was Nasty! Dirty! Way out dated ️And they charged 10.00 just to park. Was so rediculous!!!Would seriously highly not recommend it!!!Most of the rides were not even running.
Fun place to go for some quick and easy rides. If you can get in. They have very odd hours. Kind of expensive. Its basically one big state fair that stays up all year round.
Great amusement park. Our family has gone a couple of times to take the younger ones while on vacation. The ride selection is nice, drinks and snacks around every corner, the only downfall is pricing. Tickets can be $1.15 per ticket or 25 for $25, so forth. But those go quick with the rides that call for 4/5 tickets per person, per ride. It’s a great way to spend an evening and money.
Had soooooo much fun!! Purchase the wrist bands, way cheaper!!!! Will definitely be going again next year, in season of course so we can try the water park (here are just a few pics I took, was having too much fun to take more)
Lots of fun for childs just wished it stayed open longer in September
Great, nostalgic family fun. The park is getting older, but they seem to be keeping it up well. Family Kingdom is a must-do for our family every time we visit myrtle. I must warn you, though.. the roller coaster is CRAZY! Tons of fun, but much faster and wilder/rougher than you think its going to be! Your body becomes airborne at certain parts, so I highly reccomend sitting with your little ones and holding them tight. My super skinny 10 year old was coming up out of his seat, and with it being only a lap belt securing you in, it made me so nervous. Great fun though, overall, and lots of rides to choose from so the wristband is well worth it.The water park across the street (beachfront) is awesome too!!
Great assortment of rides. Next to Friendlys restaurant. I like that it is on the water at a reasonable price.
A small amusement park but they have some really nice rides. Like always, its a better value to buy the All Day pass!
Great place to visit. I enjoyed myself.
The people are friendly, the park is clean and my kids had a wonderful time.
Took the kids there and they had a wonderful time. The people are friendly and the park was clean.
We had so much fun!! The workers was happy for the most part! I cant complain
Great family fun. They sanitize the rides after you get off.
Great place for the family, cant go wrong with the all day pass either
Free admission, fun to visit after dark, several typical amusement park games and rides. Convenient for downtown activity.
Grandbaby had a blast and that made us all happy.
We had a great time and we had our pick of the rides because it had been sprinkling lightly and many had run off. We went to the water park in the morning, which is OK, but you run out of rides in a couple of hours. It is best if you go to both the water park and dry rides. We had some close parking which I liked. Kids had a great time!
I love Family Kingdom. There are a great array of rides for all ages, classic carnival food and games. The iconic Swamp Fox roller coaster, an old fashioned, wooden roller coaster is my favorite ride. Come bring the kids for a day of fun or be a kid yourself.
My family really enjoyed the place, it had rides for the whole family including plenty for my 2 year old to ride. Park was really clean and not very crowded.
Just as good as our citys (Winston Salems Dixie Classic Fair), fair but a LOT cheaper, and not a quarter as crowded!! We vacation in August, and do fairs in September, so were just combining the two from now on!! Well, well worth it!!
Only a few big rides (that are open) a zip line, the hurricane and the lighting bolt thats it. There is only one concession stand. The food is taste less and expensive.
Nice little amusement park. Prices are steep for what they have. Its essentially a slightly larger version of a state fair, with a roller coaster and go carts added. Definitely get the $3 off coupon from the books around the beach to save some money. It doesnt apply if you get the family 4 pack however. Also the Go Karts only use tickets, not your unlimited wrist band. If thats your thing, get the Go Kart tickets at the same time you get your bracelet/other tickets otherwise youll have to get back in line. Definitely pay attention to the height restriction board at the ticket counter. You could end up buying way more tickets than rides your child can actually ride.We went on a weekday right after opening and there was hardly a wait for rides. The longest waits were for the big roller coaster, go Karts and the Log ride, and even those werent too long.
Family oriented & family had a great time. Altho shouldnt be so pricey on tickets for rides. Sky wheel is ridiculous price just to go around 4x..
Such a gem! Highly recommend. Fun, clean oceanside amusement park. Entry, games and food prices are very reasonable. Took our 5 kids on a Monday in April during spring break and there was no waiting for rides. They rode everything and had a ball (ages 3-12). Parking lot close to entrance, so no long walks back and forth to your car. $7 parking and we paid $28 for the unlimited wristbands which was worth it. Funnel cakes $6; nachos $4, pizza $4 and burgers $6 to get an idea of prices. Staff was friendly and we saw employees walking around cleaning. Swamp fox coaster intensity rivaled some of the wooden coasters Ive been on at major amusement parks plus beautiful views of the ocean from the top of the coaster. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
Had a great time good for younger kids1
Great place, especially when you have a 3 year old. They have a lot of rides. Its worthy to take a day wrist band because if you choose to take tickets ( for 3 kids ) you run out fast and ending paying more than 3 wrist bands. Use coupons that youll find in every hotel.
Upon arrival, I asked the ticket taker for a book of tickets. I handed him $40 for a $26 purchase. He smiled at me, shoved his thumb and finger up his nose, then proceeded to count my change out, all the while laughing at the people behind me, who were gasping. Not wanting to make a scene in front of my grandson, I took my money, poured hand sanitizer on it and walk away. What a disgusting piece of garbage to be dealing with the public. I have tried to find the owner with no luck.
Fun for all ages and awesome military discount!
I just love amusement p s arks. We will be going back. Very soon. Staff was great.
A small mini Amusement park that is really fun with some rides and a lot of games. There are also a lot of food options there and vendors selling stuff. This is a good place to take kids to. Adults wouldnt want to come here but it is great for kids and young adults.
Great place to take the kids! Well worth buying the armband. Clean and friendly. A good selection of kids rides for children under 12. I will definitely come back to this place again when were back in the area for vacation.
A nice little park to visit every now and then. The view from the Ferris wheel is amazing.
Been going here since I was 5 in 50 now make me feel like a kid again
It was a blast my 2 year old loved all the rides.
It was fun but most of the rides were gone.
Good for kids. Fast lines due to low attendance from COVID.
Very nice and clean amusement park. Small but perfect for small to tweens for rides
Great friendly and family fun packed amusement park. Cant wait to visit again!
Great park in an excellent location. There is a lot of fun for the family and for all the ages
This place is full of attractions I take the time to go with the whole family my little girl enjoy the rides my youngest kids too I have to plan to go to state Fair on my location but here have all the or more than my location I didnt ride the the games due to my back injury but I love my kids enjoy the night you wont be disappointed.
Good rides but does not look good, it looks like a random carnival. Don’t go there expecting a clean place.
Awesome place for families. Our daughter absolutely LOVES this place, and yes they are doing all the right things as it pertains to COVID 19
My 6 years old really like it because 4 days on the Myrtle beach than kids need some fun time...its best place for kids. No entry fees but u can buy ticket for the rides.
Very cool but i was nervous for some reason
A lot of fun lot of places to see and enjoy with your family or friends we had a great time there the people was good I have nothing badd to say
Oh my goodness...I cant even begin to describe how much fun we had here. Lucky for us...they extended their seasons to include 2 weekends in October. Open in the evening, we just had to walk across street from resort. Price reduced as all rides not open. Very reasonably priced. The park had a lot of old fashioned rides along with some newer ones. I felt like a kid again.
Pricey as far as tickets and wristbands. But mist places like this are. I will definitely be making a day out of our next trip when the kids get out for school! They had an absolute blast!
It was ok. Not covid free though. Lots of ppl walking around with no mask.
I did not participate here. However it is spacious with lots to do.
