Amazing experience for kids of all ages. We did the wizard of Oz room and enjoyed every moment.

I played Jailbreak with just me and my girlfriend. We are frequent Escape Room player and have done several in different areas. This game room was by far the coolest LOOKING and had some cool themes and ascetics.However, the room was very tacky and gross. There was writing all over the walls which we didnt know if it related to the game or not when we found a clue with words This is nothing written under it we decided the company just didnt clean the walls, all they did was put a single line through it. This became more clear when we didnt even have to do one of the puzzles because we could see the previous teams writing on the whiteboard.Another problem I had with the room is that the staff did not watch the game as we were playing it. We were stuck on a puzzle for nearly 30 minutes and asked for several clues but the clues were unhelpful. The puzzle we thought we were trying to solve didnt actually need to be done but because no one was watching us or checking in with us we wasted half our time on something that we shouldnt have been doing in the first place. This happened again in a later room when we had actually finished a puzzle but there was something wrong with the prop so we thought we had to keep going.The staff seemed uninterested and when they came in to tell us we had lost we told them about the busted prop and he showed us how it should have worked and then said I would show you the rest of the room but, that is a lot to clean up and then led us out of the room.Overall I would not recommend wasting the time and money.

We arrived at 1215 pm for 1230 pm start and STILL had to wait until 1240 or so to start our adventure. To make matters worse we were the first to arrive, they just opened for day. The settings were nice and clues good. Unfortunately we did struggle a bit. And then we were told our time was just about up. After we exited we said we had a problem with the door puzzle. In order to open door you have to place wooden blocks in a certain manner. Well, we asked for help and i think they opened it for us. We were told as we left they KNEW the door had been sticking. Considering this was about a $70.00 experience...with tax...I felt upset and cheated. What makes this worse is my wife and I were on an anniversary trip. Thanks people!

We booked a private room in the “jail break” for 6 at $28 each for what I thought was $186 and in the very last page hidden in the fine print it says “due to COVID any group of 5 or more will get a private room”. They ended up charging me $305 because it didn’t say the room was automatically private till the end where you put in your cc info and you book private in the first page. I did have to speak to them three times, but she has gotten back to me and refunded the difference. Also, the game was fun the last door didnt work? The gentleman had to come on the intercom and tell us that the code we used was indeed correct and we were “allowed” to pass. The end of the room was great though and we talked about it for a while after.

Weve been to this escape room twice before, had a great time so we booked again. (We are locals) We booked the Wizard of Oz today and it wasnt worth the $183 we paid for 6 people. We got out by accidentally hitting something on the floor, the guy was like its fine. The guy asked if we enjoyed it and we told him no, he kinda laughed and said well have a good day. Im not usually one to complain but after being repeat customers and spending that type of money to get a laugh, Im not happy. Wont be back.

The manager is a money hogging thief that doesn’t care about her employees or her customers. I would not recommend her company both physical and literal due to the constant dread of her existence once walking into the place. My thoughts go to the the kids working, as they deserve better.

First experience doing an escape room. Not completely sure how to rate it fairly. Did the Walking Dead room with 5 people. It was extremely hard for us lol. Lots of clues that were irrelevant to us escaping. They give you a walkie-talkie to radio in if you need a clue...some of their clues were exact answers. Overall the room was fun!

The first half of the room malfunctioned. No one offered a different room, discount, refund, or even an apology. The guy didnt seem to care and just said Oh yeah, we werent suppose to put anyone in this room. Beyond disappointed. Would NOT recommend. There are plenty more escape rooms, do not pick this one!

Super frustrated with this company. Wanted to bring my daughter to play The Wizard of Oz room but they are not private booking and other people we do not know could be added to our group. Pre-Covid I could understand this, but in the middle of a Pandemic, locked in a small room indoors with people you do not know? Seriously? We made reservations at a few of the other escape rooms in Myrtle Beach that were private booking. But my daughter was really looking forward to the Wizard of Oz one.Response to owners response: Thank you very much for confirming what I was already suspecting. You have no interest in your customers or their safety. You see only $$. And no, all the other places we played on the strand (3 different ones) did not charge us more because we did not fill the room. They charged us the standard rate.

We did the Wizard of Oz room. It was more expensive but was pretty fun. Slow start but we ended up escaping with about 15min left. Nice layout and the guy working the desk was nice and helpful.

So much fun!!! We visit every time we come to Myrtle Beach. Great staff on duty too.

I was very disappointed experience.My family and I decided we should go to a escape room. We saw that it was recommended. Some things that should be fixed were wrong and broken locks long waiting time and broken buttons low attention and high prices. Went the time was up the puzzle we were stuck on the whole time the worker came in and was able to get it done immediately I saw him press it a specifice way. The worker also mentioned to us that one of the locks was not for the. Breakout that we were doing, then rushing to kick us out to get the next people in we spoke on how we thought of the place them not even caring about what we had thought. The bogus clues they had told us to look at the trees for the morse code and that took us like half the time.

Great place for fun & team building! Great for date night or family fun night

We did the mummy room. We had fun figured it out pretty quick but still had fun! Their prices are great for something cheap n fun to do!

I did the mummy room and had an amazing experience, julia really helped guide me through the room when i was completely lost on what to do.

Definitely recommend the Wizard of Oz room, but go with a large group. Or at least more than 2 people. The staff is awesome and the rooms are fun!

A great option for a rainy day at Myrtle Beach. Family had a lot of fun with Jailbreak. We are now hardened criminals, but it was worth it.

My first escape room and it wasn’t a good one. Waited a long time from our scheduled time. Too many people in each room. The clues were all over the place and too difficult to figure out. It just took the fun out of the experience

Worst escape room Iv ever been to. They did not prompt us to leave personal belongings outside the room so some people had phones and were trying to use its flashlight. We struggled with a lock in a room and the girl on the walky talky told us our last number was wrong so so we proceeded to waste 7ish minutes trying her code which was actually incorrect (ours was right all along) in the next room there was a clue that didn’t match up to any lock, turns out they put the wrong color lock on the door. There was no timer counting down anywhere to know how much time we had left! The lobby was not the most aesthetically pleasing for a photo at the end

This place to anyone who was done escape rooms anywhere else is going to seem very trashy, the puzzles arent difficult at all but there is very little instruction, the staff contradicts many rules they tell you and it will leave most experienced people confused on what they are supposed to do next, the logistics are terrible all of the radios run with the other rooms so there are times where its impossible to ask for help, and trust me you will need it because some of the things you have to do there will be no clues for at all, if you get though jailbreak without asking atleast 4-5 times for hints you have some incredible luck because there is not enough skill in the world to get past some of the puzzles, would recommend practically any other place

Went with our adult children. Did the Walking Dead Escape Room. Enough challenges to keep us entertained but were out with a lot of time to spare. Helped that our son knew the TV show as some of the clues referenced characters in the show. You can still figure it out even if you dont watch the show, will just take longer. The hostess wasnt too friendly. Didnt get a warm and fuzzy feel from her. Overall though, fun way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Absolutely great. We picked the best team! Troy Theresa, misty and my wife. We escaped with 11 minutes to spare. Would Definately do again

Had a great time! Went on a girls trip played the mummy which had some fun surprises here and there but what really made the experience awesome was our host mike! He was very helpful and made us laugh quite a bit highly recommend!

Really enjoyed “The Walking Dead Zombie Room”. I took my teens down to the beach to show them some of my old local spots when living there as a then teen myself. One of my daughters had been wanting to try an escape room for the longest time and we happened to walk by at the perfect time to join a room. It ended up being a fantastic beach memory for us all to have together.One staff member was present and handling everything the best he could with so many things going on all at once while waiting on another staff member to arrive. I remember how busy it was working in the area during tourist season myself many years ago so was impressed by how well he was handling everything under pressure. I’d recommend checking this place out!

I would definitely recommend this place!!! The jail escape was fun and better than I expected!! The puzzles were fun to solve and the warden and police sirens added to the intensity!! The fake poop in one of the jail cells was a nice detail!

This was our first escape room experience . My daughter, granddaughter, and myself had never done this before and we had a blast !!Mike has a great and welcoming personality ! He makes it so comfortable and fun !We cant wait to go back and try another room !

Myrtle Beach was tons of fun. People are so nice out here. Drove to SC for a 2 night stay while visiting our daughter in NC. Bought 2fer tickets to Ripleys Believe it or not only $5 more, each ticket. Plenty of parking lots too. Paid $8, but that was for the day and you could leave and come back. There is so much to do. Lots of games, places to sit and eat. Close to the beach. A tourist place, for sure. The A/C in here was a life saver... humidity was crazy. Lol I definitely recommend checking out this location and more in Myrtle Beach!

This was our first time going to an escape room. The Walking Dead Room was such fun and quite a challenge. I would suggest going with the maximum number of people in the group because there are quite a few puzzles to solve and only having two people proved to be a disadvantage. The staff was great and did everything possible to make sure we had a great experience. I would definitely return. It was well worth the money for something different to do.

Absolute fun. Left feeling like we underpaid. Great atmosphere and staff was engaging and entertaining.

My husband and I went to Myrtle Beach for a little get away at the beginning of March. We always wanted to do an escape room and We saw this one and checked it out. We had SOOOOO much fun Taye (sorry if it’s spelled wrong) was our game master he was fun, funny and informative. We had such a great time and loved the experience we ended up doing all but one of there escape rooms.(and they have a bunch) And luckily we continued to get Taye as our game master. He really made the experience honestly. Good energy and great with us especially when we would get stuck.lol he really needs a raise he does such a great job. Anyone wanting to experience an escape room and have a great time go here and ask for Taye!!!! Oh and the prices were great too!!

Exceptional experience.I think maximum of 7 and at least 2 people should be in the team.owner is very friendly and did good job preparing the game.I suggest he tries adding some thrilling music while in action, I guess it will make it more fun :D

Staff was not enthusiastic like the 4 games I have done before. Also did not have clear instructions. Didnt get a clear time at the end just a yeah I think that was less than a hour.

Ummmm, so so. My first escape room but just felt like there was so much that could have been better. And some of the task were like how in the h#ll was anybody gonna just figure that out. But staff was super cool, and didnt mind helping out. Maybe if it were either a few dollars cheaper or just set up differently Id give it another star

Great experience. Have done a few rooms in the past at different places and this one was among the very best.

We had an amazing time, ended up doing 2 escape rooms we had such a good time! Mike was great and very personable.

Did the Mummy room and was very disappointed. It was one of their mini rooms that you have to escape in 30 minutes. The props were obviously very cheap and a lot of them were broken. The puzzles were way too simple. My wife and I are beginners and we finished the room in 12 minutes. From the other reviews, their other rooms could be much better but I DO NOT recommend you do this room.

First time to an escape room and now Im worried that when I visit another it wont be as fun and memorable as the Walking Dead themed experience at this one. Very fun. Great puzzles. Heartily enjoyed by the three generations of family we brought, along with friends, including two we made during the escape. 10 out of 10, would do again.

Had a blast. Mike was awesome! Looking forward to trying out some of the other rooms in the future. Check it out for sure 10/10.

This place is trash. Workers are suppose to help and give clues instead they were playing around and left us in the room sweating. DON’T waste your money or time

This place is awesome! They have 20 and 30 minute rooms and they take walk-ups. Took my 6 year old and she was a little scared going in but the staff was super nice and Mike went out of his way to calm her down and she ended up having so much fun!!

This was a great experience. We got to meet new people, implement teamwork, and create another memory.The $30 cost per person for the 1 hour rooms is too much.

We had a lot of fun! Good puzzles, and a creepy vibe without jump scares. Planning on coming back while we’re down here. Mike and Jetta were great game masters.

It was ok. My favorite part of the experience was the wonderful young woman that helped us get booked at the counter. She also was our room attendant to help us through the room. We did the theatre room. I enjoyed the first part of the room as it was well decorated. The following parts of the room lacked attention to detail for me. Lastly one part of the puzzle would show until a certain point in the room, which was super frustrating. We were waiting for that piece in order to get the last piece to escape. Middle of the road experience for me.

The family had a great time. We attempted the theater bomb room and failed. Lol. We over thought each puzzle which led to us running out of time. Simple is better sometimes. Would recommend to everyone . The woman working the attraction was fun and great to work with.

I went with 4 grammer school kids and had a great time. Nothing scary at all. Kids had a great time figuring out clues. Staff was really fun to talk to while waiting our turn. Highly recommend!

First time our friends & my husband & I have done an escape room. It was amazing & well definitely be looking for some close to home. Good old Ohio.

This is by far the worst escape room Ive ever played. The puzzles are boring and senseless. From the 30+ rooms Ive played not once have I thought about leaving before the hour is up. However 30 minutes in I decided to leave. DO NOT COME HERE pay the extra 10 dollars and go to Backstage. When I finally left and went to get my stuff from the employees room and the girl is monitoring THREE games at one time.

We escaped!! Had so much fun in the walking dead room! Mr. Mike was amazing!!! Will definitely be back.

Everything was fully booked out but we could do this small escape room and it was ok. Wasnt the best because we they had some complications and had to reset the hole thing while we were in the middle of it. I would recommend calling before and schedule. We still had fun though.

It was interesting I made it out with my group in time. This one lady and her family just took over the game but honestly I dont think we would have made it out without her.

We have never experienced an escape room so while on vacation we decided to give it a go. We chose the Zombie themed version and were not disappointed.It was just the 4 of us but we had lots of fun. Most pictures and videos show a team of people and it would be better that way for sure. Puzzles were challenging but fun. They offer 3 hints during your 1 hr adventure and to our surprise we needed all 3.Very fun and I would recommend it to anyone. They offer several themes and we will try the Jail one next time.Very friendly staff and very helpful with the hints but not to much to give anything away.

Super fun, one of our favorite escape rooms. We chose jail break and it was challenging and a good time for all. Michael was a great host and with a bit of his help we made it out with 5 minutes to spare!

This was so fun!! I didnt think I would like it so I wasnt going in at last minute I changed my mind.... Im glad because I laughed so hard at the same time its fun but you really have to work with who your with as a team to figure things out and put clues in order.. even though we blew our selves up .... it was definitely something different and I highly recommend you go !! My husband and our friends played the Walking dead room while on vacation. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Puzzles are fun to solve. We were teamed up with another group and you all definitely have to work together to solve the clues. We will definitely be back again! We solved the room with 5 minutes to spare

Love this place! the 60min rooms are worth it and super funHOWEVER. the witch room(Harry Potter) is for beginners and children and I really wish they had advised the 101 level of this room in the description or when we told them we had done their other rooms.not worth the $ to be in and out in under 6mins.

Booked a room months in advance, only to have 2 random people decide to book the room with our family. Owner decides its acceptable to give 2 people OUR ROOM, and put us in another room. Clearly the Russian doesnt understand how to run a US business. She has an extremely poor attitude.

Solid escape room. We got to do the Walking Dead-esque room and it was basically dark which was an interesting wrinkle to the escape room idea. Ultimately, thought it was easy enough but a little pricey.

Tons of fun. We did the theater escape, cant wait to try the zombie escape.

Even tho i am not a fan of the walking dead, the clues were good and we escaled in 45 minutes! great team building.

I thought I was gonna be running from the police in my jail break escape room. Not what happened. I wish it was more..... intense

The escape room itself was good. The biggest problem was the staff. Nobody came out to greet us when we came in. We had to walk around the desk to their office to try to get their attention.We failed the escape room which was a bummer BUT when the staff member came in to explain the clues to us we missed, it turned out they had a clue that had broken and the staff member told us they didn’t want to replace it. So then I was mad because we would have gotten the clue right if one clue wasn’t broken and not useful.Just a little frustrating considering we were trying to hard and got let down when we were sure we were right.Like I said the room was fine but the staff didn’t seem to really care about the customers experience.

Had a great time and made it out with under a minute to spare, we did have a few clue though!

Fun time! The room was very intricate and had fun puzzles to solve, we ended up doing the walking dead themed room. Would definitely go back if Im in the area again.

The room we were placed in was so dark you could barely see! Which they did not mention before we came in (we have two older individuals with us who could not participate due to how dark it was). For one of the clues you also had to crawl on the floor and go into part of the wall (once again we had older individuals) and they did not mention that we may have to crawl on the ground.I understand that they saw we had younger individuals in our group too, but they still should have mentioned it because we would have chosen a different room that everyone could have participated in.Theyre way of giving you clues was through a walkie talkie, but it took them at least 5 minutes to respond which cut into your time.I have been to much better clue rooms, but it was still a fun experience for the clues we did solve.I would recommend this place who wants to do escape rooms for fun, not for someone who competitively goes for the best time.

What a fun time! We had never done an escape room before so this was all our first time. We did a zombie themed one and completed it in 40 minutes. It was tough but we worked together and got the job done. So much fun, I would definitely recommend this place and would go here again!

My boyfriend took me here and it was really fun and exciting. I had a great time because it was played to the tune of The Walking Dead far as the answers to the puzzles and I LOVED that a lot because Im a died hard TWD fan! it was just two of us feel it would have been greater if we had a larger group so keep that in mind because the more brains you have solving the puzzles the better.
