Very nice off leash dog park in Mukilteo. When it rains it can get quite muddy. Available doggy bags are nice and a number of benches. There is a shy dog area and the trails near the dog park are decent... could use some maintenance and also extremely muddy (bring proper footwear!). Overall would recommend, could use some improvements and make sure to bring water for your pup!

Theres a very large play area for dogs. Its been cleaned up over the last couple of years to put in more ground cover mulch to keep the muddy areas maintained better. The walking trails around the park are a nice added feature to get in some exercise.

Best dog park Ive seen in the area. It has obstacles! So I imagine the dogs that go here are good listeners. It was pretty big, had a shy dog area. To be honest, I dont have a dog I just went on a walk on the Japanese gulch trail. Which is def for bicycles by the way. Its the trail past the no trespassing signs next to the railroad. There is another trail by the porta porty that might be a walking trail. They all share the same parking lot.

Quite beautiful location that allows one to forget being in the middle of Mulkiteo. However, it is not a bike trail. Went there as a novice mountain biker and felt a bit overwhelmed with grade of hills. Took away one star for that reason alone. Can believe a 5-star rating would have been appropriate if my expectations were to go for a walk/run.

We just started getting back into walking trails, and this park was a perfect beginning. It wasnt too busy, and the dog park at the foot of the trail was a good way to get the excess energy out of our dog beforehand.

Good large dog park with plenty of room to run. Attached to the big gulch trail system, which is great for strolls or hikes (trails on either side of the dog park, one is stroller friendly, one is not). Supplies Poop Bags. Had fresh bark laid down to help with the mud (was still muddy, but its that time of year).

Its a friendly park, good dogs. But it can be just one big puddle most of the winter. The bark is a bad option if they dont first grade the hard packed ground it sits on first.

Its a nice trail system with a multiple paths and a couple loops that are about a mile each. Theres some pretty up and down terrain thats not to difficult. Its a bit muddy and can be slippery in a few places during the wet seasons so I would definitely recommend hiking boots/shoes with some good tread on them. I really like it and its close to Muk beach and other places to visit.

This used to be my favorite trail in the area, but you can’t even hike down towards the creek without trespassing. It seems that they designed this park very poorly, considering that the dog park has a back entrance to a supposed area that is restricted. Why design a park in such a way that makes people believe they can go to, when they aren’t supposed to. My favorite part of this trail has always been to hike down towards the creek on the south side of the railroad tracks. There is plenty of space to allow people to still access this area without being in any danger of the trains going by or getting in the way of trains. Heck, just put a wall or fence and let people continue to travel the area. I originally would give this place 5 stars, but now that these changes have been put in place, I am no longer a fan. I’ll just go hike the other gulch trail by 92nd st park instead.

Its a nice trailer but when I was there one of the bridges was out so we could only hike Half of the trail. I took my bike but its not really for bikes and was extremely difficult to ride. I would not recommend a bike. The off-leash area was nice they had some obstacles for the dogs to play on, but it was a little bit money even though they put down plenty of mulch. Overall it was a really nice place

One of the many entrances to the Japanese Gulch Trail, a beautiful trail that spans literally miles of hills, forest, creek, and other side shoots, that make this an incredible day hike. Also to note is the dog park that includes an agility course for pets, a shy dog pen, and a bathroom is typically on site (port-a-potty). I wish they did have tables or benches to make it nicer for a prolonged stay.

Great dog park most of the time. Lots of trees create some decent cover from the sun on hot days; but if its been raining, the ground can take a day or two to dry up (the ground in the fenced area is mainly wood chips). The trails are where the real fun is at. Trails are unmarked, but easy to follow with plenty of room for you and your dog.

Super well put together offleash dog park at the base of Japanese Gulch. A moments hop skip and jump for you and all the furry friends. Review №80

One of the better dog parks north of Seattle. One main off-leash fenced area, provided poop bags, and a 2 stage gate for testing out your dog with those in the pen. Then several different paths to take long walks through the woods. One path takes a more hike-up-a-trail approach with lots of ups and downs and mini bridges, while another is long, straight, and slowly heads uphill next to a train track. Either one wears the dog and I out quick!Only gripe is I wish the non off-leash areas were more strictly enforced. I have a large dog that has been aggressive in the past and it makes things stressful to have an off leash dog run up to us on the on-leash parts. So if you come here, please be responsible. this whole area isnt off-leash.

Great park, even though its pretty small. Three separate areas: general off leash, shy dog off leash for dogs who dont like being with other dogs as much (or small dogs whose owner is worried about bigger dogs being off leash), and an agility course. Great area to let your pup socialize and work out some extra energy.Added bonus: its also a Pokémon Go gym, so dog parents can entertain themselves while letting their dogs play.

This is a fairly big area. With lots of jogging, walking, hiking trails on both sides of the park. Trails are outside the park.I would give this park 4/5 stars. But for the location, very near Mukilteo there is no water for dogs etc. Have been to many D-Parks not even half the size and pretty much all have either a spicket or actual fountain for dogs.....COME ON MUKILTEO AN BUCK UP.....
