One of our favorite beaches due to clean, non-stinky water and beautiful views. Unlimited rocks for kids to throw. Fire pits. Most days youll see the ferry boats come and go, trains go by, and airplanes fly overhead. Has chowder bowls and ice cream for sale across the street. Only downside is paying for parking, around $4.50 for 2 hours.
Always nice to visit this beach. Great spot to watch the sunset or have a bonfire. Great parks for the kiddos to play.
Not much sand to speak of, but there’s lots of parking and Diamond Knot (within walking distance) sells enormous ice cream cones! You can watch the ferries come and go and there’s an area of grass big enough that there were three different kites up in the air. A covered picnic area, several picnic tables and a playground are also available.
Very enjoyable, Peaceful. Grab some Ivars, drive over towards the water and enjoy the view.
One of the most underrated places to visit. In the evenings sit around by the bonfire next to the calm water with Whidbey Island and the ferries in the background. Occasionally can see seals in the water.
A great area to walk and enjoy the sights. The lighthouse and nearby restaurants are very popular and worth the time to visit.
I have visited the beach couple of times. This place is vibrant. Once I have seen people playing percussion and couple of dreamers were dancing with sunset as backdrop! Oh quite a view I must say. There are quite a few barbecue places around.
We had a birthday party there and it was great!! Enough room to social distance and the restrooms were open also. Scenery was fantastic, the sun was out and you can watch the ferry come and go and a few trains. Little ones loved it.
Awesome beach park. Smaller, but easy and fun with kids
Awesome place with beautiful views.
Fun place to cruise classic cars..and plenty of parking. Excellent views
Alot of special memories were made at this nice park
I live here, and often forget how beautiful this beach park is.
The jewel of Mukilteo with a beach and a beautiful light house. My wife takes a walk there almost every day. In summer time, we launch boat and go fishing every week.Speaking of boating, us boaters should keep in mind that we are sharing the space with other people who are enjoying the beach and the lighthouse. Please be considerate. Please do NOT yell out loud to your fellow boaters and do NOT curse around just so that you can finish your business quicker. It does NOT solve any problem. We have family with kids in the park. We have people having their wedding ceremonies in the light house. Be considerate, be respectful. For some reason, certain people believe boat trailers should line up alone the southwestern curve of the parking lot for staging. You do NOT do that. If you do, you will easily block wheel chairs going between the beach and the light house, you will occupy the walking trail, and you will be on the left lane against the traffic arrow. Instead, use the 2 trailer parking lanes as the staging area. The 2 trailer parking lanes should minimize the interference with the non-trailer traffic. On crabbing and salmon fishing days, the boat ramp can be extremely crowded. (Remember it is also prime time for other people to enjoy this beautiful park.) Please be aware that this boat ramp will NOT save you time just because it is physically closer to possession bar. You will be much quicker if you go further north to the Everett boat ramp. You will find 11 protected boat ramps, well marked driving/launching lanes, and plenty of trailer parking.
Great people watching. Dogs love it too. NOT off leash however....
Beautiful beach. Great place to walk around. Now that the weather is getting warmer it is getting busy in the afternoons so we enjoy taking a walk in the early morning.
Used to come here when I was a kid. Changed now but still very cool to come to the beach. Nice and clean.
Place to build a fire, good for day use only! Water is beautiful and the shoreline is clean of trash and debris!
Absolutely beautiful waterfront, the city did a wonderful job in the way it placed the park and docks. The park is always a fun option for my kids and they love all of the equipment there.
Mukilteo beach is a nice hang out spot late at night bonfires are always awesome.
Wonderful and dog-friendly beach to hang out at. It’s definitely not a swimming beach. More of a bonfire and skipping rocks experience. They have a nice big playground for kids off the beach that gives you a break from the wind, and there are tons of seagulls and crabs to watch. Plus, you can’t miss the ice cream shop when you first come into the parking lot.
Nice beach area along with a park and a lighthouse. Has fire pits for barbecue and playground for kids. Perfect place to watch the sunset on a beautiful summer evening. It is located right by the Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry and has a ramp to launch boats as well.
Busy but the kids have a lot of fun
Beautiful spot to enjoy an afternoon.
One of my most favorite places to go.
I paid for parking using my credit card. The next day, I had two fraudulent $100 charges at a gas station in Portland. I would avoid using a card if possible. Definitely dont use your debit. I think there is a security flaw in the paystation.
It is so beautiful. Wear a mask and socially distance.
Beach is pretty rocky at high tide so would recommend a trip at low tide to get the more sandy experience. Other than that not a bad beach apart from the pay to park aspect.
Had a nice little stop here and enjoyed some lunch.
Piece of paradise in Snohomish county!!!
Rocky, but fun to hunt for shells. I love the drift wood that makes perfect benches, the park and covered shelters are charming and have tongue and groove ceilings and nautical lights, I love when they are freshly painted crisp white.
This is our favorite local beach. Great beach to walk or just hang out. We have seen seals playing around in the water. Light house next to it. Fun to watch the ferries. Plenty of parking, pay by the hour. It has picnic tables, grills, and restrooms available. Resteraunts within walking distance and also an icecream place.
Always beautiful here. Got some great shots with the drone at sunrise.
Beautiful well kept beach with wonderful views of Whidbey Island and Olympic peaks.
This beach was fun to wade around in and swim a bit, but it has tons of seaweed and debris floating around and theres were no baby crabs here like it said online. :( beautiful scenery though .
Always a great place to hang out and watch the wild life!!
Great place for a sunset. It has a lighthouse which Im fond of them, so thats cool. Its always busy so dont expect a secluded park. Happy people, dogs, kiddos out and about. That said the views are fantastic and the train goes by like every half hour, also cool.
Great place to walk around. It has a lighthouse. Trains frequently cruise by and two Ivars eating options nearby. There is a public boat launch. Parking fee is charged inside the park lot. You can have fires on the beach and the ferries go back and forth all day.
It was beautiful no many people wear masks so bring one plz
We love taking our kids here to turn over rocks and find crabs. so fun.
This is a beautiful small beach with fire pits, picnic benches and beautiful views. Usually very popular but a nice place to relax on a sunny day.
Lovely pebble beach, great views and good parking. Beautiful spot.
Wonderful park. Beautiful beach. Lots of people. Boat ramp. Lots of parking. Clean restroom facilitys. Shelter and areas to grill. They also have fire pits on the beach. There is also equipment for children to play on.
Often a bit busy and hard to get a bonfire pit but boy is it worth it when you do, gorgeous beach and depending on your luck the skipping rocks are plenty
Beautiful area to kayak and easy water access
My favorite place to relax and watch the sun set. Viste Ivars for some delicious clam chowder and corn bread. Take a $5 ferry ride and enjoy the sunset
Super fun place to be. I love the restrooms provided though I havent used them yet. My favorite activity to do there is fly my kites!
A very relaxing place to be with your family enjoying nature
I come here few times a year just to enjoy The view, while enjoying fish and chips from Ivar. There are a couple of picnic tables, two restroom buildings and enough space on the beach or on the grass to sit down. You can also visit the lighthouse and the house next to it.
The beach was open and allowed us plenty of space to walk and socially distance. As a perk, the bathrooms were open and several restaurants in walking distance were offering takeout.
Found a group playing banjos around bonfire. So awsome.
I like this beach not alot of sand but a great view of the Ferry and other boats.
Beautiful place to come and relax anytime of the year...
Lots of pokestops and 3 gyms. You have to pay to park $2 an hour nice NW beach rocky with lots of log driftwood. It is fun to watch the ferries coming and going.
If u love the beach and digging for starfish and just relaxing. This place is perfect
Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon watching people and marine traffic. Got lunch from ivars. Found an accessible table easily, parked just a short distance away. And the restrooms were open! Park was busy but not overcrowded.
Plenty of parking (paid), cool sea breeze, cold water, and good ice cream to beat
Still beautiful and nice. I completely agree with the piece of graffito scrawled across the rocks here.
Theres a lot of people here not wearing masks or using social distancing. There was a large kids birthday party, too. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone with health concerns
Family fun day we plan on going again making it a rout3une thing
The Tide Is High, the sun came out, children on the beach, sea otters floating by, the ferries coming in and out, people pulling into the parking from all over!Beautiful! Just Beautiful!
Good area to walk the beach, launch a boat, or drop off kids on shore from Grandpas boat so we dont have to wait for the ferry.
I love these beach. It’s one of my favorite spots. So pretty, clean, and relatively quiet.
Fire pits, nearby bathrooms, pavilion and playground, scenic views, driftwood seating. And all sorts of interesting finds.
Ive been watching the ferry come in at this beach for as long as I can remember. Cute little park, with a nice stretch of beach, and beautiful views of Whidbey.
One of my favorite places in Everett. Beautiful views. Theres a big parking there always empty, and some restaurants along the way and a small ice cream shop that has amazing ice creams. Nice place to hang out with a family or alone.
Very fun beach to just go and hang out at. Theres food nearby, places to sit, and parking was a breeze.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Definitely a site to go see! Calm and relaxing. Just what I need in my life. Perfect start to my every morning while on vaca.
Love this place!! Great area to walk around on trails or venture off on the beach (better at low tide) and it is rocky, so bring some good shoes.Theres also a playground for kids and lots of areas to set up a gathering, including a covered area with picnic tables.Theres also nice places nearby--- a great ice cream shop/ restaurant, a brewery, and a public lighthouse!Near the ferry terminal though so navigating there might be a little hard near loading/unloading times.
Quaint area for boat launch, ferry and light house visit.Fire rings built in would be a good local hit.
Beautiful place to watch sunset. Unfortunately people nowadays dont keep safe distance. Always wear mask when visiting for now.
Ive always loved coming here since I was a little girl and my father was teaching me how to fish. Now I bring my kids here and its so awesome that the looks of the place really havent changed much. The wooden dock has been replaced with metal, and there have been some upgrades. But the beach is still beautiful and the shop with the ice cream cones is still there. And if youre lucky enough to be there on the right day and time, you may be lucky enough to catch sight of the whales out in the distance. Also a great place for flying kites!! During the right time of year you can find lots of people enjoying the kites soaring in the air. Perfect place to have a BBQ or throw a birthday party at the covered picnic tables. Will always be a special place for me!!
Beautiful beach and near a lighthouse.
Nice beach and good covered space for party..
My daugthers baby shower was amazing! Beautiful views, the area was beautiful.
Very good Beach. Part of one area is not good for children as deep
Beautiful beach with nearby food options
Eye soothing beach, picnic park.
Calming views of the water, clean shores, kids playground + restrooms, picnic areas, drift wood on the beach to seat and play, fire pits available (bring your own fire wood), historic lighthouse, boating, etc. + Lots of paid parking spaces.
Great place to take a scenic stroll on the beach, have a beach fire in the fire pits and take pictures with the lighthouse and ferry in the background. Beautiful sunsets and a fun playground and sand volleyball court!
Peaceful and relaxing beach with a great playground for the kids. Close to the ferry dock and Old Town Mukilteo
Beautiful beach with proper fire pits and open bathrooms.
Rocky beach but great views and covered picnic areas, pay for parking, small kids park. Lighthouse and ferry landing makes for some nice pictures, boat launch here also. fills up fast in the summer and very little extra parking available. get there early !
Home sweet home, cant beat the views, the food, the beach, the whole experience!
I love coming here and the only thing Ill ever have against it is having to pay for parking. Although its affordable, I just dont always have money to throw around to park somewhere. But its a super pretty place with food super close and the ferry leaves from here to Whidbey island. Youll never visit without a seagull sighting. Theres lots to do here, especially in the summer.
Nice area for family and children.
Great beach. One of my favorites.
Very nice, paid parking and always lots of people make it less likely to visit more often
Pretty beach. Would give it 5 stars if it had more sand.. lol.
