Woooow.. 30 minutes through the Big Gulch Trail and 30 minutes walking back up to 92nd street park, one big cirlce!! Dont be misdirected, after the trail there is road that heads back around to 92nd st park. So many steep hills, on the way back, but if you were to turn around in the Big Gulch Trail you would have to deal with steep dirt hills. If your concerned about taking the wrong trail. Just use Google maps it directs you down and around!
Fun place to walk to and have lunch on a blanket. Has a small forest to take the kids thru & also links to the trail to the library! Love it
On the smaller side, this is my (non-water) dogs favorite park in the heat. Lots of old growth shaded trails & sitting areas scattered in the lovely chunk of woods. Playground areas for the younger kids and usually several lunch eaters & book readers lounging around. Clean... I certainly appreciate not noticing any bright orange syringe caps!
The trails are nice and go up to the neighborhoods and the library. There are two playgrounds, one for the bigger kids and one for smaller ones. There are bathrooms and an open space with a small pond. There are ducks and toads to look at, a great place to explore and enjoy.
Its easy to access this childrens play park and spacious green .
Clean !!!!!! And ducks nice people and they clean up after thier dogs
The park consists of a small walking loop and trail access to the Big Gulch Trail system, as well as a restroom facility (currently closed for Covid-19), a half dozen picnic tables, and two playgrounds (also closed due to Covid). There is a hilly grass field to the northeast large enough to run around on with smaller kids and a swampy grass area on the southwestern side of the park. On site parking lot can hold about a dozen cars. There tends to be a bit of trash on the ground due to decent use of the space.Playground equipment is a little aged, but the southern playground is pretty decent. The younger kids area near the restrooms is showing some wear and tear, but typically keeps my 3 year old entertained. The Big Gulch Trail entrance starts with a decent set of stairs and is not handicap accessible. It is a nice walk in the woods with a creek system that could only be made better if is actually went to the beach or a park area.
Its a nice quiet park, easily accessible with several short trails. Very family friendly.
Nice peaceful park with a duck pond and forest trials and large grass areas
Loved walking around the park and trail. Great exercise trail as there is a lot of incline and decline. Great place to do a short hike. There is a lot of shade, shrubbery, bunnies in the mornings, and even saw a slug three times the size of my thumb! Looking forward to walking through here again when I visit again.
The grass is good, tables are stable, and it all slopes into a pond, so it isnt muddy. Plenty of shade, perfect for picnics
Hiked the Big Gultch trail. It is in incredibly good shape. It was a joy.
Water fountain shut off for winter, but bathrooms are operable. Not many people on trail, too muddy still. But park is well maintained park.
Beautiful, pet friendly, and lots of wild life too.
I go on walks here very often and I love it! Its a nice beginners trail, not too long and I feel really good afterwards. Theres some narrow parts which fine without traffic. Little smelly during another part but all in all a decent trail.
Beautiful scenery. Nice easy hike.
Lots of fun. I wish we could explore the Big Gulch trail all day long. Its like being transported to a lush woodland. The playground was nice too and the park trail had great shade. Fabulous park!
Nice clean park.
Quick and easy air travel.
Beautiful park. Great playgrounds.
Cute place to hike and have fun. Good for beginners but some trails have deep drop offs so little kids needed to be watched at all times.
Great hiking in a forest area!
Great place to go for a hike or walk
Nice park with playground
Great little neighborhood park. Nice big toy for the kids to play on. Also lots of walking trails to explore with my 3 year old niece, probably would be perfect to walk a dog too. And theres a small pond for the kids to look for frogs and stuff in. We will definitely be going back.
Really neat place. Tons of trees and the walking trail is all paved. Dogs allowed but must be on a leash. Go catch lunch and then take a stroll. Really beautiful areas to stop and enjoy the view of water, trees, birds, etc. Enjoy.
Hiking down Big GulchGood in town hike in the woods.
This park is great, small and secluded. Theres a pond with lots of frogs of every size. Theres two play areas and a good size bathroom. Theres shade for when its hot. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars though, is because theres not a any tables or benches near the one play structure, and theres no swings.
Nice quiet lil park to just relax at with dog
This is a beautiful.park. The little ones like to look for wild animals aka frogs, turtles and birds. Really nice walking trails through the woods
Good place for a short dog walk. Parking is good. Access to Big Gulch trails is a plus.
Nice small park that connects to the Big Gulch Trail.
It is a nice, quiet, place to rest and a great launching point for walks in Big Gulch.
Great place to get out and walk during daytime, plus families were there. The trail was challenging
The mens restroom was locked due to vandalism, leaving only the womens available... for women. The Big Gulch trail is beautiful, but reeks of raw sewage.
Always a very pretty and well kept park Thank you all
Good walking trail for little ones
Lots of trails fun park!
I love this little neighborhood park! It sits in Big Gulch, and has trails to enter the gulch. Its so lovely.
Trail walk in a very cool place..
This park is great, it has two very different little playgrounds on either end of the parking lot, and nice easy hiking trails for kids to explore.
Trails were muddy and slick
I like walking here. Is very easy and a good beginner hike.
Passed through here on our way to the Big Gulch Trail and it seemed like a really nice park. Cleaner than most, which I appreciated. Its got a small wooded area that we observed a man and his kids playing nerf guns. I cant think of anything negative to say about this place. A+
A very fun place with two play structures, one is for smaller kids.As far as bathroom goes, attend your child, trust me. Gulch trail with short bridge AND treeroots growing over creek!!! Love this!!! Unfortunately the trail doesnt provide puget sound waterfront access due to a sewage outlet at water :( Obviously you can not go there and trail stops ahead of time, lol.Two weeks ago we had a bad experience here. Never had before. Its right off a busy road though, you know. One other creepy thing was a guy hanging out in the park woods like he was camping out. I was glad I accompanied my kids out into the woods.Be safe.
Very clean and it has alot to offer connected to big gulch it has amazing sights
Really nice park in a convenient place.
Its pretty. Very relaxing. Theres an upper and lower playground. And trailhead to the Mukilteo gulch
You can get a great workout ....is beautiful!!
Sweet, comfortable park that also has hiking trails to explore.
People let their dogs off leash, me and my dogs almost were physically attacked by a big dog.wont be going back.
Spacious and clean.
Quiet, great for walks. Great play sets for kids.
This park is bigger than first meets the eye. The fabulous trail system can take you from 92nd street and/or 65th over to the Mukilteo library. Part of the trail zig-zags, with steps, down(or up) the Big Gultch. There is a singing creek at the bottom. You dont have to take the steps, so you can still enjoy a nice walk in the park.
2 play ground spaces, one for littles, one for bigger kids (the treehouse type), lots of trails for nature walks, a bit of open space for frisbee
Clean Park, with beautiful hiking trails.
Just what a park should have: decide what you want to do when you get there-from short to long walks or even a moderate stress hike. Fun for kids and hundreds of feet of ADA sidewalks including a good incline.
Quaint park with perimeter trails in woods, micro pond.Entrance to BIG mulch trail
Nice place to take a break
Nice park. Two different play toys and access to the Big Gulch Trail System. Appeared to be a reasonable amount of parking.
Lots of trails to walk or jog. Id recommend not bringing a bike because the trails are small and there are huge hills. Play places for kids and plenty of tables and benches to sit at.
Pretty lawns and nice little play areas. Illegal activity seems pretty constant.
Ghosts
Love this park!
Very nice park
Love the black top parking
2 parks the upper one is better for smaller children and toddlers and the lower one is better for older kids
Very nice park, we often stop on our way to or from the ferry when the dog is with us. Playground, restrooms, tables and trails.
This is a great park with gorgeous, easy hiking trails and two play areas for kids of different ages.
Fun place to hike with the littles. Two play grounds and a field for roaming. Great evening spot for an after dinner walk.
Kids playground, open grass for playing, a really great hike for being in a suburban setting, and plenty of parking and picnic area.
Nice park. Access to to trails. Although the playground isnt very big and there is no swings.
2 playgrounds and beautiful trails with a large open area to play
Nice trails!
Love it!!! Great place to take long walks, relax, and take your family and pets!!! Trails that start from here are NEVER crowded!!!
Very nice park with lots of childrens play equipment
Nice quiet park. Great for little ones.
Great little park lots of nice trails surrounding it.
Deceptively large
Great little Park with short hikes around
Great little park, I wish it was bigger.
Beautiful Park access to wonderful trails great for the family
