First time to this wonderful park! It was a winter wonderland with easy to moderate hiking trails. Dogs are allowed on leash. There was a couple of inches of snow and plenty of places to sled. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy the changing of tbe seasons. Close to Pullman and Moscow and a good sized parking lot. Awesome!
Nice beginner hike not far outside of Moscow. Always find critters to observe!
Very small park. However it has long hiking through forest. Moreover, the picnic area is very scenic.
Early spring Hike: despite so few blooms as of yet, they discovered 2 extraordinarily large ladybug nests that were just waking up. Must have been thousands and thousands. Enjoyed finding all the scar and identifying animals that have been recently on the trails: moose and coyote. The girls want more of Philips Farm and well keep going back!
Virgil Phillips left this land for kids to be able to use it and learn from it. The community is doing a fantastic job of allowing his dreams to come true. Beautiful nature trails with the occasional fascinating exhibit make this place a truly valuable asset to the Moscow area. There are always service projects going on that improve the environmental health of the area. Truly one of the under appreciated areas in Moscow, I highly recommend a visit.
Love, love, love this place! The main trail goes around the hill, but there few additions to it. If you have a dog, this place is perfect.
Great park for walkers and nature watchers with a pleasant, approx. mile long, rolling loop trail. Occasional park events are family-friendly and educational. Best from spring through fall but open year round. Tricky left-hand turn into park for north bound vehicles so care should be taken (can continue to Viola and turn around in case of vehicles behind).
Great hiking trails. Put on tick repellent before hitting the trail.
Good place for short hikes nice run with dog
Performed at the annual cider pressing. 750 people attended.
Very pretty
Great park situated just north of Moscow. Fun place to get the kids outside and exploring. Picnic tables are spread out so you get some privacy for your day.
Great hiking and fruit picking
Super pretty and well maintained park. Allows dogs and has restrooms on site.
This is a great place to take a long walk. The trails are easy. Its down in a valley so its mostly insulated from the noise of nearby highway 95. I wouldnt call it super scenic but there are some nice panorama shots as you enter tbe drive to the park. There is a huge field lot just in the entrance where youll most likely have to park if youre there for a cross-country meet. Just be aware it gets really muddy. All in all, its a bice place to get away for a few hours.
Wonderful little park. 2 great trails .5 and .75 miles long. 2 gazebos with tables and BBQs to enjoy a wonderful Palouse afternoon. Leash and scoop if you are bringing furry friends.
Pretty nice place. Saw a moose today even!
This is a great place to take kids for an easy stroll.
Nice place for a wedding
Beautiful, quiet, educational!
Good nature trails
