Pleasant stop and I appreciated all the heritage behind this pony... August 10th 2019 they are having a shindig i would hope they see a lot of folks go through their doors. Beautifully set in a quaint setting with information from long ago.Worth the stop. Raffleing a beautiful 2 year old Appaloosa enter to win...

The Appaloosa Horse Museum is full of interesting artifacts, both from the horses and the Nee-Me-Poo (Nez Pierce) people. They often raffle off an Appaloosa horse during the summer/have one or two out in the paddock. There are lots of activities during the year that will interest children and adults, as well as crafts, videos and a gift shop. In the past they have had temporary exhibits about Nee-Me-Poo culture and artifacts. During the summer they usually participate in the local Wheres Waldo? hunt. There are so many things to do I could go on for hours, but to really experience it all you have to visit yourself!

The museum was amazing...have never been...the guy working yesterday i wasnt to impressed with because he greeted us and just kind of went in the office and did computer stuff...hello i know nothing about the museum so instead of a tour from him i took it upon liberty of my self to see it...then my husband was looking for paintings that he had done he( the guy ) had to call his boss to find out where she put them and almost ruined his paintings...so trust me i will never go back...
