Great park beautiful and clean. Playground suitable for all ages basketball and tennis courts. My daughter who is almost 2 years old had a great time there, she didnt want to leave

Nice and peaceful. Great for outdoor activities.

Very crowded with a lot of kids and super noisy. Neighbors doing yardwork (lawnmowers, leaf blowers) took away from any semblance of peace.

The playground is for kids under 10 years old. Nice baseball and soccer fields. Tennis courts looked in good shape as well.

Great place to share sports in a family setting.

Lidgerwood Park holds many childhood memories for me. The playground is great for kids of all ages. The park also has soccer, American football, and baseball fields that can be used by anyone if there aren’t any existing practices or games taking place. There are also tennis courts and a basketball court. This is a great place to gather or go for a walk or bike ride. There is some parking. There is also a shortcut to the Windmill Pond neighbourhood, another great area for walking or biking.

This is my neighborhood park. I love that there is a gravel path around it which I use to walk my dog. However, the path needs to be resurfaced and is diminishing in size from the encroaching weeds. The tennis courts were redone not too many years ago but their condition is poor. I think that they hired a bad contractor because its surface cracked rather quickly. The playground is great for young kids and new benches were recently installed. We love the big treas. There are also picnic tables in the park but they are terrible because the bench is too far from the table and impractical. Many people use these tables but I cannot imagine that they are happy with the tables.The bathrooms are often locked wich is a problem when visiting with young kids. These kids are forced to find a place to pee on the perimeter. The town maintenance department is there all of the time but they dont unlock the restrooms during the day. We love that there is a basketball court there, but the surface is black parking lot material, the lines are not right and there are only two hoops with unforgiving backboards. This park is used a lot by so many people. I wish that the town would make it more special. I wish it could be on par with Morris Plains Simmons recreation area. Ill add some photos as an update soon.
