This is a really cool structure to see. It is the perfect place for pandemic activities it seems. If youre seeking live performances and community engagement, this is a good place to go. Theres a bridge over the Monongahela and one one the rail trail to south too if you feel like walking. People often fish along the river here and theres a great public launch with parking not far north of this. Awesome to see from the water too.

Hazel Ruby McQuain Park is a great place to visit! Its so fun to be able to ride your bike, run, walk, take pictures, and observe the wild life! There are also multiple good places to fish along the trail! 10/10 recommend visiting the trail! Remember to stay alert of your surroundings no matter if youre alone or with people! Stay safe everyone!

Beautiful, peaceful place to have lunch, only downside was all the homeless people that were laying on the steps of the amphitheatre

Good parking for rail to trail. $.75/hr. Restroom and police on site. Some homeless but harmless.

Parking was easy and it is handicapped friendly but there were a lot of vagrants hanging out there and since I was alone and handicapped, I didnt feel safe so headed back to my car.

Excited for when the new amphitheatre and overhang finishes up! Only been under construction and visible behind wire fence this summer but looks like a great place to spend an evening by the water. Close to wharf district and other riverfront restaurants. Immediately off the bike path by the Westover bridge

Peaceful and serine place to spend sunny afternoons, with depot right beside and people fishing around. Ducks swimming around adds up to the smile. :)

When you are here it seems you are on display for the homeless. Remnants of their clothing and living are scattered about. There is a feeling of intrusion into their living. Their whispers and remarks are impolite and annoying. You cannot with any good conscience take anything there to eat.As long as this area remains home to the homeless it will never be a tourist attraction nor a local destination for recreation or relaxation. I would never visit here alone.

This is a nice little park, its main problem is that this is also where much of the citys homeless population likes to hang out, but theyre usually harmless. Theirs a nice running trail that a lot of people use. This place really shines when they use their little amphitheater for events like 4th of July.

We like to walk the trails but Im always a little nervous going without my husband because there are a lot of people asking for money. I wish they wouldnt let people smoke.

Nice place to start riding the rail trails, though there seemed to be lots of rough- looking folks hanging around. I was a bit concerned about leaving my vehicle though there were no issues.
