Approximately a 3-mile loop trail all asphalt. Going out you parallel the river coming back you walk along the Outer Perimeter of Modesto Airport. In general the trail is pretty clean oh, there are some graffiti /gang signs painted on the trail

Beautiful park! I had a fun hike with my family. The playground is cute also. Nice day in th fresh air was good for our souls. There are homeless in the park,, just be aware of your surroundings like everywhere else.We enjoyed the great outdoors. There was an area that had caught on fire and was still smoking. That was the only downside of our visit.

Airport is always nice to visit, but I wont want to live there again Expect everything you heard about Airport to be true . It is what it is, I dont know why Airport doesnt turn bank on that river, cant even get worms at the Local Markets.

My favorite place to walk along the river

It is a great place to hike, have a BBQ or just relax along side the river. It is best during the week, but even with crowds on the weekend wont take away the pleasure of the place.

This is a super sketchy park. Me and my husband were taking a walk in the park suddenly we see this man walking towards us as we are heading back. And me and my husband head towards different exit heading towards the parking lot. The guy is still behind us. As we continue to walk and turn around and he’s not behind us no more. Then we pass a different exit and he’s coming out of that one. And proceeds to walk behind us. As soon as we lost sight of him me and my husband ran super fast to get to the parking lot. And this guy gets to the parking lot seconds after us. We get in the car fast and he’s parked right next to us. It was the creepiest thing ever I’m never going there again. People be careful. It’s not safe here.

Nice but cluttered with junk! Also a lot of homeless dogs are down there feeding one of those.

Very scenic trails and walking paths. Advise a buddy go along, because its a very secluded park. Bring a bag lunch or picnic.

This park has gotten cleaned up! Looks really good! So far its been the perfect place to fly my butterfly kite Gary got me! Thanks Gary that was fun! Need more kite string!!

This is a 2 mile long wide paved multi-use trail for bikes and walkers. It is part of of a park with some restrooms, picnic tables, and playground facilities available. It is well away from densley populated areas due to the county airport being adjacent. Large Oak, Walnut trees keep this area shaded, pleasant and a haven for wildlife due to the Tuolomme River.Only 10 minutes off the 99 freeway, it is a great place to walk and enjoy some conversation with a friend, or get a good run in for exercise. On a Monday afternoon from 4-6pm I only saw about 5-7 people on the trail. A quiet area, with plenty of grass and quieter nooks off the trail to relax. No benches though.

It was a coo place to go with me and my family its been hot but today was the perfect day to go outside and WE pick the perfect place...

Good during the day. Leave at dark. Dont stay till closing (10pm). Youve been advised.

Went here and there were many weirdos waiting around in the parking lot. We left and walked our dog through the flooded out park area and along the river bank. Passed some weird people and lots of trash in and near many parking areas. Nice place over all but hard to walk the dog in the tall grass and loamy hay, also very unfortunate to see homeless and likely theft suspects lurking all over. Something needs to be done about all the people living in the parking lot etc..

Super sketchy place. Went and parked to look and the view and someone pulled up next to me asking me if I wanted to have a “good time” when I said “excuse me? No.” The guy said “but you’re cute though” and wouldn’t leave me alone. I had to drive away.

Had many races there and its very fun, goof trails

This is my favorite place on the planet lately. Park employees have groomed the BBQ areas and keep restrooms clean and well stocked with T. P. The trees are beautiful. I enjoy riding my bike around a horseshoe turn trail that runs along the waters edge. The grey fox let me get so close last time I saw him I could almost count the whiskers on his face. It was amazing.

Loved this place they have nice trails for hiking plenty of Forrest along the river to do your fishing.nice cleared areas for putting you poll in .good cruise spot too

Nice little park sans the vagabonds and crazies telling us there are pervs around every corner. Or the questionable characters hiking around the river. But outside of that theres lots of shade, green grass, and a nice little playground.

Loved it just had our daughters third birthday party there and we loved it. Will definitely take our daughter back to this amazing park!!!!

Pretty scenery but theres a ton of garbage everywhere and homeless people. Found used condom and used tampon on ground. Very gross, very sketchy.
