Great place been bmx jumping there near the river my whole life. Welcome to the BlackWidow. The park itself is smaller but lots of grass. There is a trail down the river to another park. This is paved and non motorized only. There is a dirt trail and jumps the entire length of the trails.

Good trails, disc golf area not maintained grass dead. The rest of park had nice green grass. Clean. No playground.

Tennis courts has a wall for racquet ball in it. Bike paths are nice too.

I grew up here. It can be very peaceful at times. I experience a ton of nostalgia Everytime I go down here. This is my home!

A very nice place to ride you moutain/road bike, run or just go for a walk. Morning is the best time.

East La Loma Park is a beautiful place. They have tennis, basketball hoops, picnic tables next to Dry Creek. Its also a fantastic place for bicycling and oh, dogs are welcome here, too! Any size! And the oak trees are many!

The bridge boards werent replaced the greatest. Lots of weeds and dead grass, not enough waste cans or benches or bathrooms. One restroom for the entire park and it is usually filthy.

Nice place to play horse shoes and drink some beers with your friends

Been going to this park most Sunday’s with our family and friends since 2001. Love the area. Very fun long and paved bike trial curves from one side to the other across town with the creek running beside. You can find off-road dirt bike trails with sweet jumps and gaps even closer to the creek - beautiful views.

Great park that is one of Modestos gems. I run here a lot and have never had a problem. Unfortunately the childrens playground is gone and a sign indicates they are asking for donations to fund its reconstruction. I dont know the story behind that. Also the creek is sometimes inhabited by some homeless folks so be advised of that.

The park is a great place to walk your dog, in my case dogs and take some great pictures

The park is beautiful during most of year, just choose a time for that works and simply go to nature.I would avoid, before 6am and after 9pm though the parks attendees can get unsavory. The rest of the time there is activity of various types; Disc golf, picnics, volleyball, bikes, basketball, and long trail walks.During the day MPD has bike patrols, from time to time, and make sure you leave nothing on your seats if you plan to be away for a while.

Pretty chill trail to walk, hike, run and cycle. Dogs are allowed. I like how they have different options on the trails.

Very scenic and peaceful area to explore and/or free your mind.. Definitely a personal recommendation.

THIS is a very busy park for types of activities except a play ground for.children.. I live this park except that there is no play ground. Ive heard the city.was.trying to raise money to build a play ground but Ive.never seen anything trying to raise money or where to even donate not even any fund raising as many people that go to this park on a.daily is well over 150-200 or more people on a daily.they SHOULD put a.donation box securely so that maybe people would or could donate aware residents of fund.raise

For walking and enjoying nature this is the best trail in Modesto. I I do recommend this place.

Front nines tee pads are in bad locations and ground is all dead grass and hard dirt. Back nine is also all dead grass and hard dirt, and is confusing.

Nice bike riding trails

Nice bicycle, walking, or running trail, about 4 + miles long

This park is really busy and is lovely. It is well kept and clean. Has basketball courts, paved biking, walking trails, dogs allowed, Frisbee Golf, Bathrooms with running water ( no soap or hand dryer or doors to bathrooms) Covered picnicking area, tennis courts. It is easy to access by car, bike or walking. Has a certain amount of friendly homeless folks but you feel safe with the park being so busy.

Beautiful park and wonderful area for family get-togethers. Great pathways for biking and walking/jogging.

Great for running, biking or just walking love the trails!

You would think living in California we would have some of the best Mexican restaurants to choose from, but not so! We recently happened upon one in Chico (La Hacienda), and the food there is quite good, but nothing compares to La Loma in this out of the way spot in Southern Indiana. Our daughter took us there on a visit a few years back, and it has become a must to go there at least once whenever we visit again! Our last visit was July 2015, I cant recall the names of the dishes we ordered, but everything was amazing! Its not a big place, not big on atmosphere either, but food is awesome, portions are huge, and prices are very reasonable.

Beautiful park this is where my daughter meets up for practice for her school trm looks like a great place to run its kind of hard to find its a little hidden but once youre inside there is parking at the bottom and its huge park with different activities to enjoy alot of people here

My home disc golf course, as well as a great park for many other activities. Bikes, walking, riding bikes, and trails, tennis, etc. Located in an area that feels almost as though you left town, but youre right in the middle of it still!

Quite possibly the nicest trail sets in Modesto, fun on most any bike with a little bit of courage, and even better with some friends! Paved and non paved pathways, usually very clean and well kept

Yesterday happened on the park on the way to a restaurant. Surprised to discover olympic-size pool, gymnasium, tennis courts, skate park, childrens areas, and best of all, outdoor therapeutic work-out equipment. I mean a lot of stations in a very large area. In addition, the park ground is immaculately clean, trimmed, and inviting. Little children will enjoy the train that takes them around the park. Only wish it were closer to where we live.

Nice hidden park. Not much of a playground that we could find but lots of green area to play. I think it even has a disc golf area. Nice covered picnic area too.

Tree lined park with covered picnic areas, tennis courts, paved multi use paths and large parking lot.

Great bike trail

I was in Hendersonville for a meeting recently and needed to grab a bite before hand. I had never been here before, but it was recommended to me. I stopped in and it was very clean and well kept. The young waitress seemed very happy to see me. I place my order for a few tacos and chips with salsa. It was really good, fresh and hot - kinda like my waitress. Anyway, you will not be disappointed give it a try if you are in the area.

Good place to relax, play basket ball, lush green grass clean are, biking, jogging trails and right next to a river with aquatic life.

This park is a nice place to spend a few hours. There are bike/walking trails, tennis courts,sitting areas for a BBQ. Im giving a 4 star because of the occasional homeless folk sleeping around but thats more of a Modesto problem not the parks fault.

Not safe at night. No lighting, at all. Take your family elsewhere until changes are made.

Great Circle of Park from Old Oakdale Rd. to LaLoma, but not a dark or loner trip thru the thickets west of Coffee.

I remember this park I quit and only consisted of a road that went down and circled around and well right back up the hill! Its a great place to ride your bike or go for a peaceful run! A good place to take your kids to play or maybe a fun match of tennis with a friend! If disc golf is your thing theyve got a great disc golf course. Theres lots of area to go exploring and just experience nature!

Have you seen the turtles? Look for them on sunny days on logs in the creek.

A great place to walk or ride ur bike. Have a picnic or play tennis. Frisbee golf is available in the park. A large & well maintained basketball court, clean restrooms. No playground on the East end of the park for the kiddies. Enjoy the fresh air!!

There is dirt and paved trails for walking/jogging/running. The play ground is now gone and just sand.

Ive been going here since I was a child. I hadnt been in a long time so I decided to walk the trail. I noticed that they had taken out the park. Very sad that Park was always busy
