The Trylon cinema is my favorite art house theater. Just as the old Oak street would show forgotten gems or Riverview second run hits the Trylon hits on every level. This entire month has fantastic spooky movies. They do director collections, actor tributes, theme concepts and the one off nights are just so much fun. If you havent been check out the website for up coming programs. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, full stop. The theater always has interesting, classic, or off beat screenings with even better conversations afterward. Reasonable prices for food, thoughtful volunteers providing great service, and films you wouldnt be able to see anywhere else. The recent renovations has done wonders for seating capacity and comfort. Dates, family outings, or just a catching a movie on your own, I couldnt recommend the Trylon more highly.

Awesome venue to see great films. This micro cinema’s recent renovation added 40+ seats—all are super comfy—up to 90! I just saw All About Eve tonight and it was great! The sound and picture quality are top notch. Cash only. There’s a coffee shop on the same block. Free street parking too.

A fantastic cinema that gives you the experience of actually going to the movies instead of being processed by a blockbuster screening machinery. The staff (mostly volunteers) is lovely, and they get the chance to choose their favourite films to be shown in the theater which is a great way to learn of gems that might have stayed under ones radar for too long.

This place is such a cute, small, cozy adventure! Saw the ending of Game of Thrones here, and even the staff were playing it up and making sure we had so much fun. It is a little hard to find if you do not know where it is, but very worth it once you get there!

You will love this place if you are into old Genre films. All their showings are old horror and sci fi flicks. The prices are very reasonable. They also have a small but well chosen selection of drinks and snacks. This place is a lot of fun and I will definitely be back soon.

This IS The Diamond in the Ruff that movie fans have been seeking. Nostalgic, Classic, Vintage, Cult Classic, Foreign and Documentary Films are the norm. One theatre with around 100 or so new, comfortable seats, and a fairly limited snack concession offering. Affordable pricing and memberships are available. Parking off street is very limited to about a half dozen spots, so street parking is the norm.

This is a small movie theater, so if you go for the first time with friends, my advice is to get there early to sit together. This is a great place to see a movie, so if you see one you like on their schedule- check it out. Hands down the cheapest snacks and great sound!

A local secret that is well loved! You will not see the newest Disney flick here... but you might catch a classic. The popcorn is excllent! The theater itself is really cozy and the seats are very comfortable. Shows do tend to sell out fast so do not wait on tickets for shows you want to see.

Unique movies, cheap consessions, and super friendly staff. Its only a single screen theater, which is pretty fun. Sound and video quality seem great. Make sure you bring cash or a debit card for the atm. They have a good deal if you buy a pack of tickets. You save about $2 a movie and get one free popcorn. Little to no parking so take public transit or park in the neighborhood.
