They hyper disinfect the theater after each movie. Went to go watch Tenet and the process was very smooth, almost contactless, and well done. The theater forces social distancing within the theater and you must wear your mask the whole time (like an airplane)All excellently executed and a perfect example of how a theater should operate currently.Movie was awesome too.

This was a great theater located within walking distance from my hotel. I watched two movies while I had a weekend stay nearby. The seats were comfy, I picked my seats online, and I could have even had adult drinks while I was there! I didn’t wait long for snacks and the theater was clean.

Showplace ICON never disappoints. The upstairs lounge is open for standard or VIP tickets and you can take anything to go. The bartenders always have a smile and the food/snacks are good! Cant beat $5 Tuesdays with free parking too. Theres also great options for HH/meals at West End. Always my #1 choice to see a movie.

TIP: you can order beer and wine for the primary ticket price. You can order the +21 if youd like mixed drinks. The theater is divided by a high wall. Below the wall is the primary ticket price. You can purchase beer and wine and sit here. Above the wall is the premium +21 tickets. These tickets average about $7 more, but you can sit in the bar and order snacks prior to the movie. You can then take your drink with you into the movie. The drinks are good. The snacks are fine too.The location of this theater is excellent, with covered parking. Weve eaten at the Local, Punch Bowl Social and Yard House. Its nice that they have restaurants just steps away from the theater. There are also other restaurants outside the theater including Crave and Roja. The theater has standard snacks. The standard price seating is not recliners. The seats are still comfortable, but this seems to be important to some folks. The sound and picture quality are excellent.

Its nice to have a big parking ramp nearby. The theaters are roomy and clean. As with all movie houses, food is expensive but thats not a surprise to anyone anymore. If youre just going for a movie, though, its a great place. I like having assigned seating so I know what Im getting into.

This is by far my favorite movie theater to go to in the twin cities metro area. I would give it five stars, by it loses a star due to the comfort of the chairs. I always go see movies in the VIP section, which is my favorite feature of this theater a the fact that they have a VIP section - and it is much more comfortable up there than it is in their regular theaters. Their regular theaters are actually extremely uncomfortable. There’s a cheap theater in Plymouth that has buttons inside the chair that bring out a foot rest and can basically make it so you laying down if you want, it is the comfiest theater in the metro area by far! So this one loses points for having a cheap theater beat them in comfort points. But besides all of that, in their VIP section, not only can alcohol lovers get their booze, but they have a delicious warm brownie platter that you can add scoops of ice cream too, but they also have the best caramel popcorn, and the seats are still comfortable enough that I accidentally fall asleep in a movie from time to time haha.

Use the VIP area upstairs! You can grab some bar food and a drink before the show and then, if you want more of either you can take it into the theater with you! VIP seating is upstairs in bigger, more comfortable seats, giving you the feeling that youre a bit closer to the screen. Its a great experience!

Great location and upstairs pub. The ICON has modern decor and is fairly clean. Theres two experiences to be had here: standard and VIP21. Standard has European seating (the old fabric cushion kind). The VIP21 ha leather seating with personal space that allows for comfortable dining. If youre 21 or over, the VIP seating is where you want to be. The tickets for both areas are nicely priced.

Great theater, clean and friendly staff. Cheaper than other theaters, they dont have the super fancy seats like other theaters (at least not in the theater I was in) but for 12 something dollars I can handle normal seats to save $4-5! I love this place! Id give it six stars if I could. The staff is always friendly. Ive never had any issues or bad experiences, the VIP options with their loveseat are great, and they always have a lot of options for the blockbusters that come through. This is located in the West End shops. The cost here is decent, you can reserve your seats in advance and have your choice of stadium or stage seating. There is one Giant screen which is worth seeing your films in. If your an icon member you get free popcorn on Tuesdays and $5 movies.

We showed up only 16 minutes past show time start which is usually just fine because you miss the previews but they wouldnt let us in because apparently you wont be let in if the show started more than 15 minutes ago. 60 seconds. The signage sent us to the wrong floor for the theatre so the elevator mishap added on a few minutes. If youre a busy person and plan to see a show here you definitely should add on a good 30 minutes for parking and directions. I usually dont leave reviews like this but the people selling tickets were really rude and made the experience poor.

I love taking in movies at this venue. There may be other places better at one thing or another. But here at West End the total experience is very nice: kind employees, free parking, lots of really decent pre-movie food options, nicer wine and better seats than many theaters offer.

Ta
Review №46

Generally this theater is great, but Ive come a couple times now to a late night show and the concession stand seems to want to start closing up shop early even if there is a movie yet to be playing. Most recently, the frozen yogurt toppings were put away early and the kid was like sorry, its been slow, we cleaned up. Poor form -- just because you want to go home early doesnt mean I shouldnt get the full value of my movie experience.

Review №47

Saw the movie 1917 in their 4k theater, but I felt the picture quality was not impressive. Action shots or those with lots of movement looked choppy. A small popcorn, large drink and Skittles was $20, which seems pretty high. Adult tickets were $13 each. So youll get close to $50 for two at the movies, seems expensive.

This place needs an update for sure, but it’s a fun spot to catch a movie without the frills. Bonus that they sell beer!

Its Tuesday for their $5 movie tickets, Im not sure if they changed it to $6 now and if they do rhe free small popcorn on that day for rewards people. Over all its a decent movie theatre, nothing too special. It does have a ramp to park in which is nice to park in especially if rainy days and in winter.

An announcement before the previews asks that you alert management about disruptive audience members, I am not sure why though, they wont do a single thing about it.If you like paying AMC prices to sit in a dirty theater with uncomfortable chairs and carry on loud unimpeded conversations, this is the place for you. We’ve enjoyed going out to the movies here for over a year. The recent increase from $5 to $6 a ticket came as a surprise yesterday when we bought tickets. It was never communicated to Extras members through email or otherwise. Another great perk that set this theater apart was the free small bag of popcorn on Tuesdays, but surprise! We found out at the counter now that also has a cost. These perks were what set this theater apart, and now there isn’t any reason for us to go somewhere else for the same price and potentially a better experience.

This is our favorite cinema, because of good facilities, and attached, covered parking. Tried VIP for the first time. They have no idea what VIP is supposed to mean. The Dolby Atmos sound added a lot to the movie (Avengers: Endgame) for me. And I can really appreciate the concept of the 21 plus exclusive seating area. However, Im rather disappointed in the seating itself. The chairs are really not all that comfortable and they dont recline, which I found very odd. Most every other theater in the area seems to have that feature now and with this particular theater supposedly being the premiere theater, I just found it strange. So I guess my only complaint is with the chairs, which had the sole purpose of comfortably cradling my behind for 3 hours, at which it didnt do that great of a job Other than that it was an enjoyable experience!
