Much better sound since the recent upgrades. It used to be absolutely terrible! It has decent seating and I don’t dread when bands schedule shows here anymore. Still, the Xcel Energy Center is much better overall and I prefer it over the Target Center without question.
Went to Timberwolves game, they played terrible as usual. But, we were in the Treasure island suite and it was sweet. Food was outstanding. I was surprised at the quality and wide selection of high quality food that was served. Brie, blue cheese, fresh fruit and sliced to order brisket. The staff at the serving stations are so nice and polite! Best service Ive had in a long time. Only issue is with the Target center itself: you cannot leave the stadium and come back in, even if you have your ticket. Strange, must be some snowflakes idea.
Not a terrible place to watch a basketball game if you are on the lower level. The renovation from a couple years ago made it feel a little nicer but the building itself feels dated. Probably not worth replacing until we can get past the first round of the playoffs. Venue is okay for concerts. Convenient location with good amount of parking in Ramp A & B. Train stations nearby.
Excellent place. Clean and nicely organized to direct you to your section or seat or food or beverage. Adjacent parking. Easy in and out. Of course plan accordingly to stay in your seat a bit after the event or take advantage of your parking and head out to a restaurant close by while hundreds of cars leave gradually.Great personnel helping on events and the whole process flows really smoothly.
Great atmosphere here plenty of food inside throughout the arena, floor and seats, multiple parking garages to use, otherwise there is a lot of parking near by but i would highly suggest using ramp c from the 394 exit, one thing i will say is if you end up lower level corner seats 11 and 12 are the corner so your legs are closer to each other as well as there are no cup holders at those two seats. I personally try to stay away from stadiums for concerts just for the soul fact that unless you get floor tickets it just doesnt feel like a real concert. I will most definitely be coming back on the floor.
This is a very high quality establishment. I’ve been there for basketball games and concerts and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve had good and “bad” seats, but they’re never that bad. We also got upgraded at the most recent concert we went to by a very nice attendant. Will come back if there’s ever a concert I want to see. The pictures are from the most recent concert
We frequent the Target Center for bball games & concerts. The food and drinks are about as pricey as youd expect at a venue such as this. However, the staff is very nice & helpful, the bathrooms are always clean, & traffic moves pretty fast for a place that typically has large crowds
This has got to be the best place in America to watch a baseball game. The variety of food and craft beer vendors is like no other sporting venue I’ve ever been to! Check out the Gate 34 experience, there are some good sweet treats down there, MANY beers on tap all in one place and a fun area for the kids to play. It’s behind right field. We parked in a ramp that was attached to the stadium off I394, it was only $15 and made it really easy to get in and out of the game. No waiting in traffic forever! We live in Arizona but will forever be Twins fans!
Went to our first basketball game to watch the Timberwolves. I was very impressed with the staff and facilities. The club level suites were fantastic. Great food and drinks. The game was very entertaining even if you are not a huge basketball fan, its worth going.
Celine Dion in concert was so awesome I didnt want her to go. Beautiful spirit, wonderful mother and loves her husband so much. Her concert is a must see and she has a New Album dropping in two weeks thats a must have - Courage... I dont have any rights to this music...
I had a great time at the Trump rally. The only problem was the place wasnt big enough, we could have used another 20,000 seats.Even though it was a controversial event your staff and the concessions people were friendly and helpful to those attending.
Target Center did a great job at keeping everything safe and a positive experience. The security was phenomenal and the venue looked great. They put a lot of effort in keeping people as safe as possible
Great location near plenty of restaurants and hotels. TC is a large, clean event center that has plenty to offer for concert goers and sports fans alike. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful. I do wish seating, for basketball as a reference, was easier to find. The seating rows could be layed out better in my opinion, but otherwise a great experience for whatever the occasion.
Always a great place for family fun.Whether its a concert, a game or a family show.In this case for me it was Keith Urban.Best concert to see.If you havent been to a K.U. show, it should be on your list of things to do.He makes you feel like your one of his friends.Target Centers remodel is is really nice, its Rustic / Industrial charm is warm and Inviting.Food and Beverage is way over priced, but they do take cards and cash, No checks.Good seating every where you go in the stadium. I havent had problems viewing shows there ever.I like Target Center alot.I also like the fact that they have Sky ways to get to the area where you parked, provided you parked in one of the attached parking ramps.
Went and saw kiss had a blast. Target center is easy to navigate. Seats relatively comfy
First timer here.Drinks and food were ridiculously EXPENSIVE. After you buy your tickets make sure you bring CASH the lines were 30 minutes long to get a drink. However there were people also selling beverages for cash throughout the halls and they barely had lines.5$ for bottled water15$ super small cocktail6$ bottled popPlus whatever food. . .It was a GREAT experience.I wish that (1) the TV screens were biggerAnd (2) that people wouldnt have been smoking weed because it was an ALL AGE concert and my 10 year old was next to me and it really upset me.Other than that. Loved the fire the confetti and the sparks that were on stage.Great sound too.
Glad that got to see the Bucks play! It was a great experience! Very clean and new stadium.
Had an amazing time seeing the Black Keys - great show and great seats. Love this venue for bigger concerts in the Twin Cities. Feels much more intimate compared to the Excel or TCF Bank stadium
So much energy and excitement, had a wonderful time with my family!!
Target center is too small, I think we need a renovation. and because they have that problem with reducing the size of the unit units then maybe we will have to get into that to see if we can increase the square footage of our building.I would be happy to get a loan and build you a new one that would allow for 8,000 and 8,500 units per floor and add some nice amenities, landscaping, high ceilings. They are sort of adjacent to the original Buckhead Livability Center so I would be more than willing to help find some money for that space for a garden club.I think it would be good, some reasonable financing and Im sure an investment opportunity would arise if I can find some funding
Lets go Wolves! My Husband, son and I go to Timberwolves games a lot! The music, food and fun is always amazing! Last time we caught a free tee-shirt! We have met Jordan Bell and he gifted us some amazing tickets. What an amazing place to go for family fun! ....and adults can enjoy Beer!
Considering we had a packed venue for the disturbed and three days grace concert the bathroom lines where not to bad. Even my wife was fine with them. Its clean and well maintained. Security has been friendly every time we have been there in the last year. Dont be surprised with the 10 dollar beers.
They remodeled the arena 2 years ago (I think) and we got tickets to The Black Keys months ago because theyre my favorite band. It was the best concert Ive seen and the remodel looks excellent! Top notch facility!
The concert was the best part. Seating and amenities at the Target Center are not in line with todays standards. The escalators were broken. There were log jams of people taking stairs. Escalators to upper levels were broken. I had a handicapped guest who was forced to walk the stairs due to escalator failure. Lighting was poor in the seating area. I could not see where I was stepping nor read the seating numbers on the seats. Acoustics were poor at the upper levels.Pros: Parking and the walk to the Target Center is enclosed sheltering us from the elements. Employees of the Target Center were kind and helpful.
We were in Skyview suite 1. Staff, Food, facility was phenominal
KTIS Concert. Not the best organize concert. A late 20 minute start with extended Compassion talk & with the intermission it was almost a 4 hour concert. Great Music! Good view of the nice stage. Lights and sound terrific! Seats better than average, (leg space is tight). Sec. 104 row G Seats 19-20, Great Seats, ample leg space! BUT WATCH YOUR STEP, the floor is uneven in row F, 2 of us tripped exiting through the aisle. Organizers could of made better use of down time.
New look of Target Center is impressive. Staff from front gate to concessions to security were professional, courteous and helpful. Food and drink prices are high, but better and more ample beverage selections and sellers. Product on the court for the TWolves needs to gel and be consistent. But good win tonight over the Clippers.
Way better venue than I thought it would be. I havent stepped foot in the target center in over 10 years. We had pretty good seats, but I couldnt imagine the ones on the complete far end of the stage. We saw Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin, they both put on such a fantastic show.
Been there twice the last week for Shinedown and Kiss, that was a very good experience both nights. Both shows were very crowded but yet the lines for concessions went fast and no waiting for the rest rooms. The food is kind of pricey at some of the stands, we did manage to find a single cheeseburger and fries for $11 at one of them, it was pretty good too.The renovation they did last summer seems to have done it well, its nice.So if the event you want to see happens to be there dont hesitate to go...and have fun!
A big arena with decent acoustics for big bands. Ive seen a ton of shows there and they are big. Fits a lot of pyro and a lot of people drunk on 15 dollars a glass beer. Its a stadium, may as well enjoy it as your tax dollars paid for it for some unknown reason.
First time watching Timberwolves! Great arena. All seats are good.
Target center certainly updated its already nice facility..easy access will cal and tickets pick ups. Clean, safe, and a great place to check out a game. Phil Collins... he’s aged, but his voice was solid. Fall 2018
Loved my experience at the sold out Cardi B concert! With Kevin gates!!
Our grand soon (8 years old) was able to play on the floor of this awesome stadium a week ago. What fun! everyone was very friendly and helpful in finding our way around awesome venue
Big time rush live electric tour 2020 24 october target center
I think it is the best place in town to see a show. Coming in and going out of the parking garage couldnt be easier.
Good venue. Every employee was very helpful. Happy to see more concerts here. I will be back. View from section. 130 row G
I have only been to the Target Center for sports events, so I dont know how it is for other kind of events. Your viewing experience may differ depending on what kind of seats you get. If you are in the lower level you feel like a part of the event, its high energy and bright. If you are in the upper level it can be really dark, and the angle of the seats and stairs can be scary if youre someone who gets dizzy easy. You also feel very detached from the game and the events, with only a few t shirt cannons to interact with you. Ive also experienced a box seat and it was a great experience, a little more private way to enjoy a game.Since the remodel I like the seats more, they feel like theres more cushion. Also theyve really diversified the food they offer, which is nice because each time you go you can try something else.
Great lifetime Fitness in there.
Im not a big sports fan but my boyfriend is a total die hard sports fanatic so I just tagged along for the love of him. But I still had fun. My favorite parts were the mac n cheese, the chicago dog and watching Coolio for the half time perform with his awesome back up singer singing the course on gangsta paradise. Also the cheer leaders and the mascot were awesome. The Timberwolves won in a total turn around again the Rockets, I guess a good game according to my bf. And beautiful basketball chandelier. All the security was very nice and professional.
I love the remodel and upgrades theyve made to the Target Center. Very aesthetically pleasing. They additional options theyve added for the selection of local beers is great. However, I did not give them 5 stars for one reason amd its because of the Jimmy drama. While Target Center has clearly made a concerted effort to add culinary diversity to their food options; sushi, italian bistros and even a french influenced offering, they have still not figured out how to get the basics right. I I paid $24 for 3 soft pretzels that were dry husks of salted cardboard and couldnt find any cheese curds to save my life. So 4 stars, great fun, reasonably priced tickets, great atmosphere! Be selective with your food choices and Go Wolves!!!
Took kid to wwe. He had a blast. Easy to see from any area.
Great place to sit down and watch a great game at
My son and I went to our second Timberwolves game, both times he and I really enjoyed ourselves. Target Center itself is clean and there is plenty of staff to help with questions, such as, which way to my section/seat? Or, how do you get back to garage A? (Actual questions) The staff who assisted me with answers were polite and pleasant.
Wonderful concert venue. Hardly a bad seat in the place. Very easy to get to with multiple parking options as well hotels close by for weekend getaways. In the heart of downtown Minneapolis, this is one my favorite places for entertainment.
Went for a Timberwolves game and you could tell the recently renovated the arena. Bathrooms were large and clean. Food stands were more unique than they were in the past. Highly recommend seeing a game here!
Unbelievable improvement to the building, you can get a feel for the city that surrounds you with the open concept. Food selection amazing. Plenty of room around concessions, lots of places to get a drink selection is vast there as well. Entry was smooth and I love how modern it is, easy (warm) access to and from target center via skyways. Parking for Timberwolves was affordable in ramps a,b, and c. The overall experience was amazing, will come back for other games and events, good job!
I loved the Target center mainly because it was clean, laid out well, easy to access, and Twenty One Pilots was there.
Had a great time at Disney on Ice. Upper rows (end seats) of section 109 have a slight obstruction to the view because of the rails. Hopefully this is helpful for anybody looking at this section for future events.
So much fun. Went to my second Timberwolves game in less than a week and had a great time. Youre welcomed with nothing but smiles and everyone who works there makes sure that you are treated with respect. ️
Not a bad seat in the house. Entrance was easy to get through, and everything was really clean and kept up.
I have never seen so may people in one place. It was the worst! Nice place tho..well the restrooms could have been a little easier to get to but other than that really nice.
Nice place, but the t-wolves always lose
111 row z could use a little more leg room! Great concert atmosphere. Great view and all the staff we encountered were pleasant. I feel bad for the 3 staff we witnessed cleaning up someones irresponsible drinking puke!
Awesome venue! Not a single bad seat. Able to catch a couple of basketball games in different sections every time and each was great!
Its a great place to go. It was even clean! Great people to help you figure out where you parked. The biggest down fall that I had was trying to find a bathroom before your let in the arena. Not many knowledgeable people on that one.
Went to a twolves game and had a great time. Like most pro sports, the food and drink was overpriced but still good. The biggest drawback right now is the product on the floor but well see if the possible trades will change that.
Everything went so smooth at Target Center. From parking lot, entrance and to the concert. Everything was so organized!! We loved to go there.
Good vibes, love coming here for Timberwolves games. They put on a great show! Plenty of great food options, convenient to get in and out, and enough bathrooms.
Part of the extensive Minneapolis skyway. Full of adventure!
Awesome experience. Place looks way better and more modern compared to a couple years ago. Hopefully we can get a team to match the atmosphere.
Great stadium, and the food choices are exquisite! staff is super helpful. the dj really played well, and was definitely a good time.
Very nice facility.
Great venue, hosts a variety of concerts. Loved seeing For King & Country here!
The stadium is huge. Its easy to find in the skyway from parking ramps. They also have a huge field (Target Field) for summertime sports games. Its very lively in the building.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a great evening with good food and beverages. The Timberwolves were entertaining even if they didnt win. The Target Center is a great venue.
Saw Metllica here not too long ago and came away impressed. Venue staff is professional, however they should notify when alcohol service ends to avoid angering the tipsy attendees. Sound system sounded great, this was the first concert I saw since the remodel. Seat had a great view. Good place to catch a basketball game too. Crowd control at the entrance could be better organized. On a crowded game night, expect a long long line that winds into the skyway.
My Son and I went to our 1st NBA at the Target Center and we had an amazing time!Very helpful staf and extremely clean facilities. We cant wait to go back next season. We even got to shoot a few free throws!Do you and your family a favor and take them to an event at the Taget Center...
Great experience. Target centers updates are very noticeable, new scoreboard and seats new entrance and exterior. I really miss NBA city/ Huberts having the restaurant available always made events more fun. The concessions are outrageously priced these days. My event tickets were expensive too for there to be so many open seats near the court and in the lower level.
Overall, nice facilities, easy to find, easy to park, decent amenities. the food is just ok, and overpriced. The games themselves are a blast to go to with friends, kids, or your significant other. Always something going on whether it be the game, an event, cheerleaders, half time show, or music. I will definitely be back.
Great show by Phil Collins. Also, his 17 year old son Nick on drums. Hes a lucky Dad. Phil looks a little rough for 67 but voice never missed a note.
Nice. Came to watch the wolves play the warriors. Expensive food. Clean
I love going here. Great venue. Timberwolves or concerts. It’s great to be there. I wish we had more like this in Winnipeg.
Target Center has really stepped up their food game. There are so many new restaurants catering to a vast variety of taste buds.
Would definitely recommend coming here for a concert, basketball game, etc. sound is amazing and the lights look amazing here. being higher up its harder to see but thats normal with any venue.
The place is incredible. I went to watch Shinedown and was amazing
Parking, while convenient, is more than I would have liked to pay, and the service charges for purchasing two tickets was like buying a third ticket. If you have saved up, you can even get a $16 smoothie. This is more of a venue for the haves than the have nots. The entrance and exit plan for the amount of persons in attendance make for many stop and go choke points. The show itself was incredible, but that would belong in my comments for the band itself.
Easy to access with great parking. It is full of fun things and lots of options to eat. The tickets are very affordable.
It was amazing I caught a t-shirt and had a lot of fun
Great Venue
Ok, they are moving towards ordering on an over-sized tablet. Not a lot of help from staff. The person who helped was not clearly identified. Like wear a neon cap or something. Same complaint. Food cold or room temp. Certainly not worth the price. Any upgrades or improvements are missed on me. Can someone please explain why water used to wash hands is cold?
Not my music, bought tickets for my girlfriends birthday. Performances were more than I expected, actually had a fantastic time.
Great place to catch a baseball game and eat some delicious food!
Target Center has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid!! Remember when the Circus came to town! I highly recommend a family night out at one of the many events Target Center has to offer!!
Good venue for concerts. Has decent sound. Price point for food is what you would expect for a sporting venue. Could use some upgrades. Seems a little rundown in areas
Wouldve been 5 stars if security didnt shut down the area next to our seats (because it was cleared) that led to the ramp, which resulted in us having to walk around the WHOLE place with someone who had difficulty walking to leave.
Really good venue. I went to Disney on ice and the staff and security were very friendly.Fyi this is a gun free zone, so be aware.
Had a Wonderful time at the Target center supporting the United States President.
The Elton John concert was the best concert Ive ever been to
Great venue, every seat is a good seat.
It was Prince night. Great entertainment! Cheese Curds!!!
I went to see the Twenty One Pilots music concert here and it was great. Very entertaining with a nice view of the performers. I was pleased with how comfortable and accessible the seats were. The stage/performance effects were crazy good and I was never bored. My only complaint is the lack of speakers in the sides and back. It’s irritating to a single ear if the performers are on the center stage as the sound is just coming from the side stage. Other than that, this is an excellent place to see a concert.
This place is small but perfect for the audio sound when you’re in a concert!
Everything connects to the next downtown skyways are filled with so much to see and so many things to get into.
Great place for all kinds of events! Prices can be a bit high, add they typically ate at these kinds of places. Great location with lots of surrounding restaurants and clubs to hang at before and after events.
Comfortable and awesome place to see my first UFC live event. Awesome seats and an even better show!
Nice experience at Timberwolves game. Had a chance to see KAT, James Harden and Russell Westbrook.
The ONLY reason Im giving you all a 2 is because you NEVER prioritize the Minnesota Lynx. Beautiful facility. Great workers at the games. But youve messed with the Lynx and their post season too many times for me to fully support or positively review you.
Top was awesome! clean venue, great staff, but sound system needs improvement (ear splitting treble)
