The place is fun with many differently themed pinball machines. Sanitization was taken very seriously, so that was appreciated. We each spent $5 in quarters over an hour, so it was a fun and cheap outing.We had other plans for dinner, so unsure of the food. Even at 6pm on a Friday night it was pretty busy, so limiting but not awful.

Tilt pinball is exactly what you want if its pinball youre looking for. A lot of machines to choose from - old school and brand new. Reasonable drink prices and pinball games. I will be back for the Rick n morty machine needs a lesson.

This is by far one of the coolest places I have been in a long time. They have a great selection of Beer and the food was delicious. Not to mention they have PINBALL.

We had a great time here until the end of the night. Love the place, love the business model but after the bartender got our tip, he treated us like alien life forms. He snatched the beer out of my hand and violently pushed us out the door. The owner may want to have a sit-down with his staff and instruct them not to physically throw otherwise peaceful people out of his place of business.*Note: I changed this from a 1-star review the next day. The technician that works there is a good dude, the bartender on 2/27/2020... not so much. If hes there next time we head there, we may just walk back out.

One of the best “arcade bars” I’ve ever been too. This bar just has pinball. Plenty of the older pinball machines there play like they just took them out of the box. It’s amazing.Games don’t even cost $1 they’re 50 cents each. Beer, amazing. Hotdogs?! So good. Went here the first night on our trip to Minneapolis and we immediately went back the second night. I’d go back in a heartbeat. If your anywhere near here and you like pinball you have to go.

Amazing bar with vintage and new pinball machines. I was visiting from Atlanta and went 3 different times.

Everything about this was cool. The food looked and was presented very well but the hot dog actual beef that we were served had to have been heated all day. It was hard and chewy. It was very very salty. The games were all new and in good working order. Also of fun especially the options to play a few 50s style pinball games which made the pinball experience even more fun.

Restrooms were so gross my girl wanted to leave right away. Also a lot of people in a small space, lax on masks, it seemed like the only employee working was the bartender.

I started humming The Who’s Pinball Wizard the minute I stepped through the door. The place has plenty of pinball machines and decent priced drinks. The best though - the super pleasant bartender! We didn’t try any food but the drinks were good, the way they should be, not weak. A casual place with a cool vibe.If you like pinball, this should be your next stop!

An intimate and fun bar with the best concentration of pinball cabinets that I know of in the Twin Cities. They have a menu of super fun variants of hot dogs that I always enjoy, and great craft beers on tap. Great bar atmosphere, creative food, and I always love the pinball.

Cool pinball bar with a great beer selection. Theres probably around 20 pinball machines in the place so theres a decent selection of games to choose from. I did get the smoked onion dip which was good. Beware that the only entrees are various hot dogs. Also, its only street parking which can be tricky to find within a block of it.

Its more like 4.5 stars. My husband and 6 year old son had a fun time at Tilt. They have old and new games which were all in great condition. Theyre either .25 or .50 in tokens. They have footstools for the little people and we all felt welcome especially as out of towners. The bartender even came over and told us some places to check out in Minneapolis which was super nice. Definitely its a place to check out even if youre not a pinhead but want the nostalgia and fun.

TILT was a lot of fun! A nice place for a date or a get together for a small group of friends. I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars when I get a Hot Dog that knocks my socks off! But my girlfriend and I did have the Mac n Cheese dog and it was good. I know that I will for sure come back here for drinks, conversation, and a good variety of pinball machines!

Tasty dogs and brats, but the pinball and atmosphere is what shines here. Machines are well-maintained and lighting is perfect for enjoying the game.All machines play for 1 or 2 tokens (leave the quarters at home). ATM and bonus tokens for $5/$10/$20.We all enjoyed a mix of food, beers, and pinball. Great environment.

This place is a great value. $20 worth of quarters lasts a good while especially if youre playing these 20th century mechanical wonders of camp, pulp, and nostalgia 2-player-style. Theyve got good beer as well. This place is usually pretty busy, but theres so many machines to try that you rarely have to wait very long to give any particular machine a spin. It attracts a less bro-heavy, party crowd than a lot of other arcade style bars.

So much fun! We hit a homerun the night we went, they were having a promo night so all games were free and we got a free beer! SUPER friendly! Any if a machine had an issue our guy was right there and fixed it in a jiffy! Totally going back!

Tilt is a great place to meet with friends, have a few drinks and play pinball. Its location is convenient if you plan on eating along nicollet avenue aka eat street. They have over a dozen pinball machines, a decent bar, and clean restrooms. If you are in the area swing by!

Fun atmosphere with good drinks and happy hour specials. We played about 30 minutes of pinball, switching back and forth between two people, for $5 worth of tokens. There were several people in there, so it didnt feel empty, but we had easy access to the almost 30 machines without getting in peoples way or feeling self-conscious

Nice place. My 7 year old likes going here. If you have little kids I would suggest going when they open. No lines. The craft sodas are really delicious

Tilt is awesome. It had been a few months since I visited last and they had fresh machines. I could stay in there and play all day. Decent little list of TAPS and cans and some tasty grub.

So much fun. We brought quarters thinking the machines would take change but instead they take special tokens. The bar v tenderer was super friendly and helpful getting us setup to play. Be sure to bring cash, or there is an atm inside. Great spot for fun.

Killer Queen bee game was super fun with our group of 10! Otherwise good selection of pinball games - a bit smaller space than I expected so hard to get a table if you were hoping to sit down.Tasty selection of cocktails and beers within the theme of the bar though - recommend you check it out!

Most of the pinball machines are in proper condition. Alic Coopers Nightmare Castle seemed like the ball was too heavy or the initial launcher was not delivering enough power to the ball. Had a blast playing deadpool and the beatles pinball machines. I will come back to test out more of the machines. A big plus for having Killer Queen. That is a good game to have to play in groups with friends or make new friends. Drink and food prices were fair. I had the deviled eggs which had jalapeno peppers topped on it. It was presented very well in a way that you would not expect from a pub. Definately earned this five star review, Tilt.

Wonderful staff who was super friendly, great drinks and food, and fun games. Stopped here for with my partner for my birthday and the man working (he had said his name but I forgot) was extremely helpful and funny and made us perfect drinks. Ordered nachos and they were the BEST nachos Ive ever had! I liked the spices they put on the tortilla chips and the taste of the meat was delicious and rich. Great selection of beers as well. I felt extremely comfortable and welcome here, which I didnt expect from a city since Im a small town girl. My partner and I plan on coming back to play more Beatles pinball. :)

You go to TILT once because you think its a fun novelty game bar, but you keep going back for the AMAZING hot dogs. They have all sorts of toppings, every named dog in the menu is both innovative and delicious, and they get their vegan brats from The Herbivorous Butcher, so you know theyre good. Highly recommend!

Love Tilt, great pinball and overall environment. They will fix any machines on the spot, so be sure to let staff know if there are any issues. Also be sure to do yourself a favor and try some of their specialty drinks and shots!

Guests are pretty good about rotating on machines. You can usually play any and all of the games that you like. This may be a bit different on a league or tournament day, though. Their website provides schedules and info for league play. Game prices went up just around Super Bowl time, from 25¢ to 50¢. You can get a decent beer or cocktail here. I wouldn’t order any cheese cake or deserts, unless you like eating cardboard. Stick to what they know - hot dogs. It used to be ridiculously loud in there, but recently it has been adjusted nicely.

Small place, but wonderful details on the decor. The bar actually lit up like a stretch of pinball machines. Really cool looking place. They had some of the best pinball machines too. Like Wizard of Oz, Ghostbusters, Iron Man (which was out of order), Guardians of the Galaxy, Total Annihilation, etc. The food was ok, but odd. I mean, its hot dogs with interesting toppings, which sounded like something one should try, but all the ingredients were like yeah, sounds good, oh--wait, stop! Go back! Ctrl + z! Like, chili, raw onions, sounds good, but then coleslaw. Bunch of left turns on that menu. Nachos with Kalmata olives, ok? The OGB was good, but all the hot dogs are served on split white bread, so it was just kind of odd. Last thing of note: unisex bathroom. Really cool place. Gets packed easily, but people seem to come and go pretty quickly, so it wasnt terrible on a Saturday afternoon/early evening.

This a a really fun place to go if youre in the mood for some good old fashioned pinball. They have a decent selection of beers, ciders, and liquors. My only complaint is that the staff had a cold attitude.

This is a fantastic spot for a little fun and drinking! There are area multitude of pin ball machines from all eras with differing degrees of difficulty. The machines are easily accessible and affordable with an on site cash for tokens machine that takes anything from ones to twenties. I also enjoy the friendly bartenders that serve good drinks at a very competitive price. If you are looking for a good time on a comparatively low budget the tilt bar is the place for you! Definitely one of the best moving and social bars in uptown!

Monday is Industry night. HighLife tall boys $3. Doorman unusually friendly. Parking easy as I arrived after midnight. Music good even if volume a little high. 3 machines out of order but a great variety fully functional.

Great fun! We are not fantastic at pinball or anything but went here with some friends for a fun evening out. Warning re the menu - its relatively limited unless you like veggie dogs or hot dogs. But the pinball is where its at. Nearly all the games are 25 cents; some are 50. Love the old school games in the back! Weve been twice, two weeks apart, and the games had changed between visits. Definitely recommend for a fun (and inexpensive) night out!

If you set the high record theyll put your name on the board If you like to play pinball and this is the rest place in Minneapolis to do it. the staff is awesome laid-back friendly and make sure you get what you want no problems at all. If your looking for some late-night pinball action then you should stop here and get ready to play all night. The nachos and shots of fireball where exactly what we needed to play all night. Awesome experience. I am from out of town and met up with friends who were locals. I was warmly welcomed. Good alcohol selection and the games were reasonably priced to play. Apparently new games pop up in the bar from time to time also.
