We did the Jackpot room and had a blast. Very well designed puzzles with pretty moderate difficulty. Logan, the staff member there was extremely helpful and nice. We love meeting people who are just as excited about puzzles as we are. Definitely going to come again.
We did Jackpot! with a group of 4. Great set design, fun puzzles, and an excellent gamemaster (Logan). Cant ask for anything more than that. Well definitely come back for their other rooms.
Did the Jackpot room and it was amazing! A nice twist on a normal escape room that was really fun. The employee working was super nice and it was fun to chat with about the room afterwards and about other fun rooms around the cities! Well definitely be back to play more rooms there.
Logan was awesome! First time doing an escape room went so well, we were all in a bridal party and it was so fun, we laughed and got done right on time :)
It was so much fun we had a blast i cant wait to go back and the staff were so fun and enthusiastic i would recommend it to anyone.
There is a lot of care put into the puzzles. They also care about the experience of the people in the room. I would recommend this place to new and experienced escape room people.
We finally made it back to play Jackpot, the casino room. It did not disappoint! Weve played all the rooms now and would also recommend the Asylum and Countdown rooms. This is definitely one of the top brands in the Twin Cities.
Awesome escape room! Asylum was a blast and well be back again!
Greatest escape room Ive ever done.Although, Ive only done 2...A great experience starting in the lobby. Great staff. Fun challenge. Asylum was great and the technology was super fun. Not super difficult but challenges you enough to make it super fun.
Incredible staff who are engaged and knowledgeable. Fun concepts and multiple rooms with varying levels of difficulty, so people with all levels of experience are engaged.
My two daughter in laws and i chose the Inheritance Room. Only the 3 of us and none of us had experienced an Escape Room before. SO MUCH FUN!! Staff was great, sure we needed some hints but got out just in time. We did a pretty good for only 3!!! Highly recommend the Mission Manor Escape Rooms.
12/10, definitely reccomend! Went recently and it was amazing! Highly recommend the asylum room. We didnt think it was too scary at all (just very atmospheric!), and the room was super creative! If youre on the fence, dont be! Just go!!!!
Great fun! Some puzzles arent very intuitive, but such is life.
Recently went here for a team building event. It was so much fun! Plus the puzzles were amazing, the organizing was easy, and even our most curmudgeonly team member had a good time! We booked a private event and they were so accommodating and wonderful. I’d be back soon if I hadn’t already done all the puzzles
We chose Asylum. We had a blast! This was our first escape room experience. We hope all future ones live up to this one. The staff was very friendly and even showed us what the other rooms look like to help us plan our future visits. Looking forward to a return visit to try another one.
This was a great experience! I found the rooms really well done, and they give you a life line if you get stuck, so dont be worried if its too hard or anything like that. I will be going back for the other rooms they offer!
I booked the Inheritance room for a family team building event and we all had a great time! Our 10 year old daughter and two sons aged 14 and 17 could not have had a better time. Everyone was able to actively participate and contribute. Very fun!
I have completed two rooms so far at mission manor and both times had a complete blast. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are challenging, and overall it is a great experience for a girls night, date night or just for fun while meeting new people. I highly recommend this place!
SO MUCH FUN! The staff was so helpful and welcoming to our group of 8 who were all new to escape rooms. The clues were interesting and the set up was good for beginners and advanced puzzle solvers. We will definitely return!
We had a great time doing the inheritance challenge! my 4 friends who never did any escape room before also loved it! the person running the rooms was very helpful and explained it very well. the room was challenging but not stressful. great way to spend a rainy girls day/night!
I brought my family here as a gift to my parents for their 30th anniversary. It was a huge hit! We did their countdown room and it had perfect puzzles that were tricky but not too challenging for us. Their staff were also keeping a good eye on us and helping us out when we had something 99% correct but, for instance, the padlock tumbler just hadnt clicked right.Another huge kudos for them for helping us out when we ran horribly late due to weather (and a small scheduling mishap) and still managed to get us in with enough time to do the room!We will definitely be coming back for their other rooms.
Probably my favorite place for escape games. They have a helpful list of (most of) the escape room companies in the area, along with whether or not they recommend particular rooms- sounds simple, but it represents a lot of time and money invested in the local community, as well as a love for puzzles that comes through in their rooms as well. Be sure to check out the envelope games on sale in the lobby- theyre a ton of fun if you love puzzles.
The asylum room was very atmospheric. A lot of fun, and not terribly difficult. A little spooky, but people who get frightened easily should still enjoy this.
We had a great time. Honestly I thought that it would be too easy and our collective problem solving skills would make short work of the escape room, but alas we couldnt even finish in the given time which made it all the more fun.
What an amazing experience! Did Asylum with a group of 8 and came back for Jackpot 2 weeks later because we had so much fun!!!
My mom, boyfriend, roommate, and I went to Mission Manor and did The Inheritance escape room. For all of us, it was our very first escape room and we had an absolutely phenomenal time. We were paired with two other people and although we were initially skeptical, it was an absolute blast. We loved the ease of booking, the price, the variety of room options, the employees were all kind/knowledgeable (thanks Lauren!), the room itself was well throughout, and it was an all around fun experience. We could not stop talking about the escape room for DAYS afterwards and are already planning our next visit the next time we are all in the same city. Fun for everyone and would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Mission Manor!
This place has by far the friendliest staff I have ever met. Logan was just awesome. Very informative. We will for sure be back to complete all of the Escape Rooms at this location.
Went and did Countdown with 3 others which can be booked for up to ten I dont know how youd fit that many people in there.Anyway they do a pretty good job. The difficulty was about a 7/10 and we only needed a couple nudges from our host. There was a technical glitch with one of the props and they were quick to help get us back on track.Production value wasnt quite as high as some but definitely better than most. We will likely go back to do the other rooms.
We had such a great time! The challenges were very creative and courageous us to work together. I highly recommend Mission Manor. They have a third room opening in September 2019 that looks great. Wonderful staff, great adventure.
Loved this escape room. The theme of the room was a lot of fun. And the storyline was understanding and easy to follow. I like how they kept with the theme of the room and never strayed. Me and my husband did it for our anniversary and both absolutely enjoyed our time here.
The team is wonderful!! I organized a pre-wedding party for two of my friends and wanted a contest between Team Bride and Team Groom. The team at Mission Manor was wonderful at arranging that for us. We did Inheritance and Asylum which were equally difficult and a fair contest. The team was helpful and provided clues along the way but not too much that it took the fun out of solving it. In all, I cant wait to come back for countdown!
Awsome and challangeing rooms. The staff are very helpful and polite, they are excellent game masters. If you love to challange your mind, you must check out there rooms, each room has something diffrent to offer and each one is fun and challenging.
Great puzzles. Good escape room! Well worth it. Friendly staff.
Ive always wanted to do an escape room with my friends and all, but one, have not done one before. Despite being newbies at the game, the staff were helpful and kind. They really eased us into how to go about the room and were genuinely enthusiastic about the whole thing. The rooms were fun, challenging, and really interesting. I was worried about size (because of my acute claustrophobia) but it was spacious enough to be comfortable.Big thanks to Mission Manor for making our time worthwhile. Most definitely will see us again!
Had a great time in the Asylum room. (I have done Countdown as well previously and also enjoyed that) The staff hear are friendly and very helpful. They answered any questions we had and definitely seemed intent on making sure we had a great time. We had the last time slot of the night and they even offered to let us have a peek at the other rooms after we were done with ours.As for the rooms themselves, I thought the puzzles were very well thought out and integrated well with the theme of the room. There was nothing that seemed cheap or unfair. We had a great time and I would definitely do another room here in the future.
So much fun! Went a few days ago as team building for work. The place is quiet and clean, the puzzles are challenging but solvable and we escaped Inheritance with about 5 minutes left (after two clues). Would love to go again and try other rooms.
I went there with a group of friends and I cant describe how much we enjoyed it! Huge Adrenaline rush!!! We reserved the room a couple weeks in advance and could get in on a Saturday night. The game was very well planned with an interesting story and lots of puzzles that we had to solve in order to get out. The ambience was really nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my first experience and I know I will be back soon!
Enjoyed The Inquisition. Fun and well-designed puzzles. My main complaint is the clue system. We were given a radio that we could use to ask for help, but we actually never needed to. Instead, the hosts far too frequently contacted us to give us advice every 3 minutes it seemed like. We would be stuck for only 1 or 2 minutes and they would radio asking us what numbers we were trying on the lock, or something similar. It sort of ruined the feeling of being trapped and having to problem solve. It seemed nearly impossible to not escape this room because of the amount of help that was given (and its not like we were hopelessly stuck or doing poorly, we escaped in 45 minutes). I would have been more resistant to clues, but our radio volunteer from the group (a stranger) was often in a different room and I wasnt aware hints were being given sometimes. Also, I felt that 8 people was too many for this room. It felt crowded and often some people in the group werent able to keep up. But I understand this is often done by escape rooms to bring in enough money.Again, puzzle was well-designed and fun. I just think our circumstances might not have been the best with the group we were paired with. Also, you get a $1 discount per person at the brewery in this building after the escape room.
My family went there for a 65th birthday surprise. The birthday boy had never done this before and I wanted something a bit different than a plain old dinner celebration. Well it was a big hit! I would recommend this to all that like some mystery solving in life. The manager was wonderful and really into his job. We enjoyed him greatly too! The picture at the end of us all holding the signs was a great top off!
I havent had a ton of escape room experiences, but this one was really great. The staff is friendly and the place is well decorated. The room we did take a good length of time to solve, and a reasonable level of difficulty. Our group had a great time. There are other businesses in the building worth visiting all in one place if you want to grab a coffee or a brew.
A perfect double date for our out of town friends! We had a blast and all got to participate in solving the puzzle. The puzzle included secret rooms and freaking LAZERS! 10/10 would reccomend
Super fun and challenging! We booked the manor for a couples shower--the best party weve ever hosted! Amazing staff and manor ambiance. Cleverly designed rooms. Party guests, most of whom had never met, coalesced into code-breaking teams--and were still talking about their experience hours later. Easy parking in a real parking lot--in Minneapolis! Mission Manor is more fun and more full of surprises than other escape rooms weve tried and more reasonably priced. Highly, highly recommended!
We took our 16 year old and a couple of his friends here for his birthday and we all had a blast! We did the asylum escape room and just wow! They go the extra million miles to make this an amazing experience. If we could give more stars we would! We cannot wait to come back! Thank you all for such an awesome experience!!
I had a really great time doing the Inheritance and the Asylum Escape Rooms! Both rooms were challenging and fun. The staff has been extremely friendly.
Aaaaahhhhh this was so much fun! I broke my foot right before our reservation, but the rooms are big enough for a wheelchair, though of course a little tight, and as long as there are people in your party who can do more of the difficult puzzles as far as maneuverability, then youre good to go. We had a group of 8 and had a blast! The staff are so fun and helpful, 100% am coming back! We also got a coupon for the brewery on the 1st floor and they had lots of space and board games, so a great place to go hang after the room.
Of the three rooms at Mission Manor, I chose Asylum for my group; and we were HANDILY impressed. While any escape room will have the requisite padlock puzzle and number crunching, Mission Manor has added some wonderfully interactive, and surprising challenges to the experience. As a bonus to the experience, they are located beneath headflyer brewing. After a game, you can head upstairs to celebrate your victory our luck your wounds.10/10 would recommend.
BEST ESCAPE ROOM EVER! We have done several in the area and this one was incredible! What a neat space and several twists and turns that made the event so awesome. The online booking was so easy and the staff was top notch. It is really a well run escape room and a GREAT value!! We will be back for sure soon!
Very nicely done escape room, we enjoyed it, the quality of the props and puzzles was very good, and theres a brewery in the same building (which they give you a voucher for a free beer at)
Our group has done 4 other escape rooms, and this was one pretty good. The four of us booked this room not realizing that other people might be added to it, so it was an unexpected surprise to be told there was other people that would be joining. (The other group was friendly, but we wish we would have known ahead of time.)The Asylum room was complex and interesting, and the staff was friendly.
We did the Asylum Room for my daughters 21st birthday. We had six people in our group. Only one person had been to an Escape Room, one time. It was a first time for everyone else. I had a hard time just finding Mission Manor from the parking lot---that did not bode well for what my skill level might be once I got to the room. However, even my old brain was able to figure out a couple of things none of our younger crowd could so that made up for my ineptness from the parking lot... I would never have chosen to do this if it wasnt suggested by someone else, it didnt seem like my kind of thing. But I have to say, we had a blast. We (I) asked for one clue - probably way earlier than I should have, and the other clues provided without inquiry were tough clues but very helpful to make sure we werent wasting time on something that wasnt an actual clue. All this to say I highly recommend it. Well be back for sure. We probably would have booked another one the same day but being a weekend everything was full. Introvert or extrovert, give it a try. Its surprisingly a lot of fun!
Loved this place! Challenging room, the people outside only set you up for success and were super friendly, but they also gave you clues and subtle hints that nudged you in a general direction instead of telling you what youre missing. Overall a great experience!
We did the Inheritance room for a 30th birthday with 7 people and had SO much fun! None of us had done an escape room and really had an awesome experience! I love that it is in the basement of the building, the staff was super helpful explaining the experience ahead of time, and offered hints (that we asked for) when we felt stuck. We ended up completing all the puzzles, they gave us a score sheet at the end and fun rubber bracelets saying I Escaped Inheritance, and took our picture after we escaped. Overall we all really loved our experience and it makes me want to come back and do the other two rooms!
This was so fun! Our team of 10 got out of the Countdown room with 11 minutes to spare, but had a blast finding our way out! Will definitely be returning to try the other rooms!
This place is great! I did the Countdown room in September and the Asylum room just recently. Its better with more people but if youre looking to go full Sherlock Holmes you can do less. They always keep you moving and you feel so accomplished when you find something. I recommend doing the Countdown room last. Its the hardest one and should be worked up to.
Super fun escape rooms at the best price around. Great place for newcomers and veterans.
Awesome adventure with great staff. Best bachelorette party ever
A group of 8 of us did the Inheritance room for my birthday. We had a blast! The worker was fun with his clues and interactions with us. Multiple people from the group were raving about how much fun they had and how it was much more fun than expected.
My group did the Inheritance room. We had a lot of fun but the overall feeling was that it could have been more challenging. Maybe my group was just really good because we had 23 minutes left on the clock when we escaped. They do have a more challenging room that is supposed to be a big step up in difficulty. Next time I’ll try that one.
It was Amazing! We went for our anniversary and it was a lot of fun. Hooked on escape rooms!
Had a great time doing the Inheritance Room! It was a definite challenge, but the staff did a great job feeding just the right clues at the perfect time. Highly recommend!
I did the Asylum escape room and it was very well done. It was the third escape room Ive done and it was definitely the best. There were many unique puzzles that were more fun than traditional number or letter locks. 10/10 would do an escape room at Mission Manor again.
“Inheritance” was such a fun way to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. The only thing that would’ve made it better was if we had actually been able to take the loot home after escaping the room.
Well constructed and very fun, one of the best escape rooms Ive done!
Great 1st time escape room occasion
This was a wonderful escape room, very friendly staff, not too easy, and not too hard. Very fun and creative puzzles and clues! We had a great time and would definitely go back!!
We did the Countdown room as a team building event and it was perfect! Very difficult but allowed for skills from various people to come out! And we made it with a few minutes to spare!
Our group of three got added to a larger group. This was concerning at first, but made it so much better! We had the most challenging room, but the numerous brains made it less daunting.
This escape the room was in a very nice building with a Brewery inside so you can celebrate escaping with a cold one. The themed room we did was a countdown to destruction theme. It was the highest difficulty room they had and definitely took our group almost the whole time to get out but it was a very fun room. I would recommend this venue because there was a lot of care put into their room and definitely added to the experience.
Really fun and exciting place to do an escape room! Come with a group of friends :)
Great room with fun logic and neat interactions. Highly recommend!
First time in am escape room and it was fun and challenging. The staff were excellent
Ive only done the inheritance at this venue but have done many escape rooms in the past. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was well set up too! It was challenging but wasnt to abstract.
Had such a great time! Staff is helpful and very friendly. Great for a big group or meeting new people by getting added into another group. Have been to 2 of the 3 rooms and will definitely be going back!
Went here with coworkers for a morale event. Everybody left happy and closer from the experience. Keep it up!
First time doing an escape room but it was a blast! The staff was friendly and the puzzles were fun!
Lots of fun! Great team building experience. The puzzle was difficult, but not so hard that it couldn’t be done. Really enjoyed our trip here.
Follow the clues you will make it but dont let the timer beat you but most important have fun its a great thing to do and the price is right
This was an amazing experience! I love the problem solving and had an amazing time. Definitely check this out and have a blast. Just be ready to think and work together! It will make you closer. I never did anything like this before and I will definitely go back! Thanks guys!!!!!!
So much fun! Great staff. Terrifically fun bonding and getting to know you experience. We had a group of about 35 that paired well with the tap room upstairs while folks were checking in and afterwards. Easy parking. Must do.
The staff person who helped us was awesome! Our group has done a couple escape rooms. It is always interesting to see how they are set up. We did the asylum and it didnt dissapoint. What set this apart from other escape rooms was definately the staff. We will go back and do another room here because of the service. He even gave us a list of staff choice escapre rooms in the Twin Cities area.
Soo much fun, loved the Asylum room
Had so much fun doing the countdown room with 11 pals for birthday. It was definitely difficult
Incredible experience. The tone is set immediately upon entering the lobby, and carries on throughout the rest of the night. The rooms really hit the sweet-spot of comprehensive but not impossible and have a good mix of puzzle types. The staff is great as well. I would highly recommend Mission Manor to both the escape room savvy and newcomers alike.
We came here as a team builder with our leadership team at work. It was a great experience and encouraged us all to work together. Loved the rooms decor and it was NOT easy!
WOOHOO!!! A group of 8 of us did the Inheritance room. We had a GREAT time - we will definitely be back. The staff was fantastic, the room was fun and challenging and full of surprises. A+!!
Very friendly staff, fun and challenging room. We will go again.
Went with people from work. This was a great experience. Lots of great puzzles and great staff. Definitely would recommend!
Went here with a bunch of buddies and tried the Asylum room. We were SO CLOSE! The puzzles were fantastic and really clever. If I’m ever in town, I’ll definitely be trying the other rooms!I would totally reccomend this place for parties that aren’t too big.
Amazingly fun, if you havent tried one or if you like escape rooms do yourself a favor and and try this one.
We had a fantastic time in the Inheritance room! We were both first timers in an escape room, and we are totally hooked! We were challenged, surprised, and excited. We walked out planning our next outing! Also, Im highly claustrophobic, and the room set-up and panic button option to leave the room were clear enough to make me comfortable enough to enjoy without anxiety. I HIGHLY recommend Mission Manor & will be back to try another room.
Ive only been once, but have plans to go back to play the other rooms. At a glance, the price tag seems hefty, but it comes with great, helpful staff, and exactly 60 minutes chock full of fun!The puzzles are intuitive, intriguing, and intense!Groups of all sizes welcome, and (usually) walk-ins!
We did Asylum tonight & Countdown a month ago. Both rooms are top notch! I strongly recommend this place!! Logan was an awesome puzzlemaster & host too, super fun.
My first escape room and it was a great time! Ill be back for another room soon!
We went for our company Christmas party. The staff was super nice & that made the experience ten times better! We cant wait to go back & do it again!
Well thought out experience, professional staff and a great atmosphere. Recommended. Will go try another room soon.
