Wonderful forest in the city! Awesome place to hike and explore. Both paved and unpaved trails. Officially designated a childrens forest by the USDA. My toddler loves it here!

Lots of natural and man made features. Well maintained trails. Right by The Urban Ecology Center. Best sledding hill on the east side The playground could use a little love. But even so, the kids enjoy it.

Best park to go to if you live in the area! Bring your kid/s to the playground, then if get hungry Little Caesars is across the street. Even better then the playground is the Forrest area behind the park. There is a bridge that leads into the Forrest and trails that you can walk all day or short trails that loop. Great family walk or solo. Also really great trails for biking on. Its also a really good place to search for geocaches if your in to that.

If you want to take your kids or family members to a place that talks about nature and agriculture, this is the perfect spot! My Vegan Meetup group also uses this venue one a month for Vegan Potluck. Laid back environment, polite staff, and area for decent parking. A hidden gem for nature and fun...

Such an enjoyable space to connect to nature in a suburban setting. Great walking trails that take you down the river front, through community gardens and even connect to other trails in the city system.

Riverside Park Wis designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and was part of the Lake Park, Newberry Blvd., Riverside Park Development around the turn of the Century. It is also now a part of the Urban Ecology Center and the Milwaukee Centennial Rotary Arboretum. It offers bike trails, walking paths, exceptional views, river access, an abundance of birds, flowers, butterflies, Bridges and wildlife. It has an historic rock trail. Even though you are less than three minutes to the citys downtown, you feel as though you are in the country. Stroll the Oak Savannah, climb Coyote HillThere is plenty of parking.

Wonderful experience for adults & children. Learning about the environment is more important now than ever before. They turn it into a FUN learning experience. And they rent space for birthday parties.

Such a great reprieve from the city. I love the woods and the river together. I love the fact the architect of NYCs Central Park designed this one too. Makes living on the East Side worth it!

Great park right in the heart of the city. Follow the trails to get down to the Milwaukee River and you can walk for miles and barely see any buildings at all!

This place is so serene and holds great sentimental value, as this is where my grandma and i smoked meth and had sex.

Its run down and there is trash everywhere. But NY son had fun none the less
