I really enjoyed the sculpture garden! This a very nice place to spend some quiet time when the weather is good. Even now, when the trees are mostly leafless. The blue sky foil highlights the beauty of their silhouettes. The lakes and the geese complement the picture quite well. And, of course, the sculptures, which add a veil of abstract mystery of the past century. I want to go there again.

Absolutely loved this place. Great place for families to let the littles run around and get excited when they notice another Sculpture. Interesting and fun art. Big enough garden where no one is intruding on anothers experience with a particular art piece and you can spend a good portion of the day getting lost in the whimsical beauty of it all

This is a great place to go during coronavirus because its beautiful and intellectually stimulating. Not necessarily for kids, because they could want to climb on the sculptures, but for those that enjoy the outdoors and are prepared for the expectations not to touch, it will be wonderful. Also, the landscape is a garden, full of very interesting trees that are well-marked and identified. In October withe the changing leaves, the sculpture garden is stunning.

In a time of seclusion this is one of the best place to be secluded. Here you can be together but apart safely distanced and enjoying the beauty. There are restrooms however there are no cement paths through the display of sculpture areas so it is not conducive to those with Walkers or wheelchairs. If youre not used to walking on grass areas and uneven surfaces you may want to bring your walking sticks. But this is one of the nicest gifts that could be given to the public at this moment in time.

We visited with our toddler on a Sunday morning, 10 October 2020, right after they opened to the public. Its goose season so we chose appropriate footwear. Admission is currently complimentary thanks to a donation. The sculptures are well-spaced for an interesting walk, and most dont have paths between them, just open grass field. There are however side paths to explore. They do have covid-19 measures in place so bring masks and wear as per their guidelines.

This place is simply magical. From the sculptures, to the ponds, to the wildlife & everything in between. I spent 2 hours walking around & loved every minute of it. Don’t let the reviews about the goose poop discourage you — although there is some, it wasn’t enough to keep me from enjoying the day. Wear proper shoes & you should have no issues. It was also the perfect place to social distance, parking was easy & admission was free. Do yourself a favor & check this hidden gem out. You won’t regret it!

This place is a hidden gem of Milwaukee! We were there on a rainy, dreary day, but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The sculptures are a soothing balm in these crazy times, and the park is a perfect respite from the pandemic. Bonus: its a great place to take kids or grandkids, who have plenty of space to run around.

I enjoyed my experience here. I was expecting more sculptures though. The grounds is nice and staff are friendly. The best experience was the bonsai house. Judy gave a lot of info and now i have a new respect for the art of bonsai. It does not compare to the Meijer Gardens in Michigan, but i would add it to the stop list if you are in the Milwaukee area.

Gorgeous setting with stunning art. Unfortunately the goose droppings are a tremendous problem. Could not enjoy our stroll through the lawns are gardens since we had to look down and find a “safe” area to stand. Could not go near the pond because of the layers of droppings. Truly disappointed that our experience was marred by this. Would not recommend bringing children.

I enjoyed visiting this park. I paid about ten dollars to get in and the kind gent offered me a helpful map. I was sad to see a piece or two in disrepair, but some of the artist have passed away and it will take pricey restoration measures to rectify the situation. Tons of goose poop. Its and outdoor park, so wear proper gear. Nice quiet and peaceful. I went in September, so there were spots off limits that seem like it will quite enjoyable when they open for the summer (banzai garden)

The sculptures just arent what I would classify as art. Its random scraps of metal thrown together. I dont understand how or why its considered to be a sculpture garden. But this is just my personal opinion and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? So if youre into, I guess you could call it modern, abstract kind of stuff, then you might enjoy checking it out.
