I am a motorcycle girl but the very first time understood why Harley Davidon has a fan following after visiting this museum. The brand has a history, their contributions to the economy and the society, the vision. Everything about this museum is beyond imagination. Its like a dream come true. Definitely visiting again, but this time in the summer when we can ride the bikes

I feel very lucky that I managed to come here from Greece! Incredible place-factory-museum!! You immediately feel awe that you are in the place where the first harley was built!! The space is incredibly large, as well as countless many models that you can see here!! The production line is very impressive, in which you can watch a harley being born from the beginning!! Really, you do not know which model to admire first! I suggest you, if you ever find yourself, close to this area, to visit it!!

I have a love for anything museums and this ranked up very very high on the list . This fantastic museum has Harleys from all possible eras we go from funky, creative, work horse, stylish, ancient looking, bejewelled and much much more ..Each bike told a story and wonderful ones at that . We got lucky and visited on a day that was free, but even without a free day its worth the buck . This is authentic Milwaukee ..cant get better .A city Ive begun to love even with the cold winters ️ Happy viewing

We went on a rainy day and it was perfect. They really are taking precautions due to the pandemic seriously and we felt safe throughout the whole museum. They allow pictures. You could definitely should a good few hours exploring and reading about all the memorabilia. It was my husbands first time here and my second and I still think there was alot I didnt remember.

You go here because you love the bikes. Hundreds on display. From the very first single and twin engine bikes to the one seen in Eady Rider. The price of admission is a bit steep considering youre only viewing a parade of motorcycles. But, like I said, you go here because you love them.

Lovely museum! Im not particularly into motor vehicles of any kind, so long as it gets me from point A to point B, but this was a deeply fascinating experience. All of the early motorcycles in particular (and the stories attached to them) were awesome. The history of the company and the ways that people have modified and personalized their bikes memorialized was a sight to behold.I dont know that much more would be gleaned from repeat attendence, but I was not disappointed by spending a couple hours ogling gorgeous motorcycles.Absolutely worth the price of admission.

Worth going to, but not worth planning a whole trip around riding hundreds of miles to just go there. Museum was decent, food was fair, but over priced and very simple menu. Gift shop was not any better than any other Harley dealer. They had a make your shirt to order, but didnt even have a sweatshirt in a size large so that was worthless.

WOW! Even if youre not a motorcycle enthusiast, this place is AH-MAZING! Its got that wow factor as soon as you arrive, and just keeps going from there. Get there early in the day so you have enough time to get through all the floors(we got kicked out bc they were closing- we only made it through the main floor- still WELL worth it) or opt for the multi day pass! Student and military discounts for admission, bring your ID. Were already making plans to go back!

I am not a motorcycle fan but wanted to learn more about this iconic brand. What a well done presentation and an amazing amount of history preserved by the company and family. Everyone in our party agreed that it was well worth a visit from a history standpoint given all that this brand has meant across so many generations -- Very well done and impressive. We had a great time and highly recommend to not only bike enthusiasts! Will definitely be a stop on all the tours we give to out of town guests!

It was exciting to learn about the history of Harley. They have a lot of cool exhibits of bikes and other relics from the companies past. They also have many photos and original documents and logs if youre in to that kind of thing. Only three of the most valuable bikes are placed behind glass. Other than that, most of the bikes are only behind a rope, so you can really get close to see them. The tour guides are nice and knowledgeable about the history of the company. Overall a very informative experience.

What an awesome place. Even if youre not a lifelong Harley fan theres more to do and see here than I wouldve thought. If you factor in the museum tour and really checking things out you could easily spend more than a day here looking at all the bikes/memorabilia, add the additional displays (Daredevils right now, changes regularly), the free demo rides of new models, the shops, the restaurants & watering holes, the events centers, the nearby attractions, it really is a heck of a spot. The museum portion alone is really unbelievable though. For a Harley enthusiast, its eyeball overload every inch of the way. Extremely well done.

Unless you are into motorcycles and history, this museum can be missed. I will say that there is appeal even for those not interested in riding and more interested in the development of the Harley through the years. While I wish that there were more exhibits on the restoration process and a better illustration or exhibit of how the different engine families came to be (possible I missed it during my visit), the museum is a medium size and reading every display and artifact can take you well over an hour.

Enjoyed our experience at the museum. The tour was worth the cost, Diane (name??) has been with the staff since day one and prooved a knowledgeable and interesting guide. The museum is put together well and the progression of the company history was easy to understand. Interesting to note that Harley Davidson kept a sample of a lot of the companys motorcycles from early on so what you see at the museum could very well be a first off the assembly line bike! Cons: Feet were sore because nowhere to sit.Pros: Great historical info and just about every bike by year that Harley has made. There is a really nice bar & grill where you can meet other travelers from all over the world. They had three different IPAs on tap, but they were $6.50 each. H. O. G. members get in free. We paid extra for the audio headset, which was nice. We didnt get a chance to see the rest of the grounds because our feet were sore. They were setting up a band area for the next day. This is a must see when in Milwaukee. It is beyond words. It tales the Genesis of Harley Davidson motor cycle. They have numerous motors restored and displayed with detail information in display areas. There are so many sections spread over two levels . From the companys origin to American depression to being a war supplier. Its just you need to visit to know. Then what you see is beautiful tanks in display. You wont believe the colors those existed for in fuel tanks if not for here. Then there is a picture gallery, club sovereign in display .....many things. The ticket is 20$ for per person and if you want audio tour it is 4 additional. They have membership offers. Videos as to engineering and Races will leave you historic with/for a bike. They have restrooms and even a kids area and sitting cubes for a pause. You can photograph easily. At the end you can photograph yourselves with bike and get it on email immediately. This museum shouldnt be Missed. And yes opposite it, there is a Restaurant and Bar named Motor and also a Shop of souvenirs.

Being a lifelong Harley Davidson enthusiast, I couldn’t go to Milwaukee without checking out the museum- and all I can say is WOW!I’m amazed at everything they had preserved throughout the years and equally impressed by the displays- from wall to wall gas tanks to reproductions of early HD dealerships. Unusual motorcycle prototypes to golf carts to snowmobiles, this place had it all. There is a section of the museum that houses changing displays, a store that sells museum specific items and even a great restaurant. Don’t miss this world class museum- you won’t be disappointed! Very interesting museum, although I own and rode my Harley to the museum. The Harley motorcycle has a long interesting history and the museum does a good job of providing insight into that history. If you are not a motorcycle person you wont find the museum nearly as interesting. The cost seems a bit high at $22 per adult, but as a HOG member I got in free. I spent around five hours going through the museum but others did it much quicker. If you are a Harley or just a motorcycle person then this is a must visit place. The bad part is Milwaukee is a large town with a great deal of traffic and lots of traffic jams so plan accordingly.
