FLWs American System of housing. Take the tour and get to see the renovated interior of a B1 model. Beautiful living space under 1000 sq ft.When the renovations on the other structures are finally completed it will look like a very smart and attractive tract development.

This area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is memorable because of these houses and other very old homes. There is nothing particular about it just an old neighborhood with old homes.

I’m not a fan of FLW, but I really enjoy his art. Even now, his concept is still very practical and give people a lot of thoughts about architecture and home.

This is a must see on the Frank Lloyd Wright trail. So many cool models of the American system. It was an absolute treat to see some of these houses. They find raise and you can see where the money is going. They are beautiful houses. Come support a national heritage landmark.

It would be lovely if these could all berestored.

Very neat to see, looks like theyre hard at work on these places, there were some guys walking out with tools in hand when I was walking up to the buildings.

We stayed there 4 nights on a recent trip to visit family in Milwaukee. What a unique experience !!! Great place to stay. Large home with sleeping to accommodate up to 9 people. Full size kitchen with everything you could need to cook or entertain if you wished to do so. WiFi, tv, even movies to watch and games to play. Also, 3 bathrooms. This is one of 6 Frank Lloyd Wright homes on the Burnham Block in Milwaukee. One home is a Museum. The others are being restored. The Museum does offer tours and lots of info on these homes.A great history experience and very convenient location. Less expensive than decent hotels with lots of privacy. It is an experience that should not be missed.We loved it ! Awesome !!! So glad the Milwaukee Historical Society is involved in helping to save this bit of history !!! I lived in that area many years ago and remember how sad looking those homes were. Everyone involved with the restorations should be very proud of what they have done and continue to do !YAY MILWAUKEE !

Wonderful tour guides/volunteers. Very glad I saw these homes!

Great to see these living examples of the prefab approach to lower housing costs while maintaining an asthetic uniqueness for the time ... 1915. The restorations are quite nice but not open to the public.

Wonderful buildings hopefully they will get funding to bring them back to their full beauty.

Anyone who loves architecture or has anything to do with architecture must visit! It’s located in a quaint neighbourhood and the timing of tour visits are limited. So, planning a tour is better to visit the houses from inside. Also, conveniently located near the bus stop.

Ive been to many of the FLW house tours, but our tour guide simply wasnt interested in giving the tour.

It was a great tour.

The houses were cool, the staff were less than approachable, our docent was a really nice guy but could benefit on a brush up of the speaking points.

Fantastic insights into what the famous architect dreamed he could make possible...which was interrupted by the start of World War I. Wright believe that every American could enjoy a better life in an architect-designed home!
