Great experience! Very easy to park and get into the museum, recommend using the Michigan Ave parking entrance. They offer enough activities to keep you there a whole day and you will still have to come back for the other half your kids didnt get to. We were extremely grateful for the complimentary pass for our special needs child, the facility is safe for kids of all age and capabilities. Highly recommend!

Amazing! I have been to several childrens museums. This one might be one of my favorite because it seems more practical to teaching about real life living to children. This isnt the biggest childrens museum Ive been to however there are so many different activities to do that you can spend hours here.I have 4 kids from 2-10 and they all had a great time. The price for admission is the same for adults and kids but compared to other children museums is more than fair. Not a whole lot for the parents to do, but parents can teach their kids. There is a parking garage that is in walking distance and they will give you $3 off your parking.

I think that the hands on experience with different occupations and ways of learning are super for children, ages 3 and older. My grandson is 1 1/2 and he was limited on what he could do independently. There was one small area of activities for younger children and he could partake in some of the older stations with assistance. His age-appropriate section was not much different than going to a childrens play center and park for the added expense. He liked more of the older children areas with help. I will wait and take him again when he is a little older.

This place was only Okay in my opinion. Many of the hands-on toys/machines seemed old and didnt work as well as it was supposed to. I appreciate what this museum is all about, but everything needs an update and some remodeling done. We were here on a Thursday night and it got pretty crowded. It would be nice if there could be more management done about young children/toddlers running around on their own. Some kids are just trying to have fun while theres other kids running wild and destroying things without their parents around. Otherwise parking was easy. Front desk was friendly and welcoming.

Winter is upon us and here everyone can be active and dry. This was such a fun day. We took our neighbors granddaughter with the use of all pass from the New Berlin Public Library. But Betty Brinn also has a free night Thursday sponsored by Northwestern Mutual Life. There were so many activities to do this three-year-old never got bored and neither did the 80 year old. Its set up so conveniently for people who would use Walkers or wheelchairs or motor scooters. It also has a picnic area along with the ability to purchase Foods dinner healthy and prepared by Sendiks another contributor to the Brady Brim. They feature a full City with a bank a TV station post office real estate office construction of building a new house re-roofing and so many other valuable life skills and that was just the first area. The next area was all about communication and then the next year I hear youre after that its about science and the periodic table. The center is very clean well-maintained Im very helpful staff walking the floor from to assist you. So much fun! Great place to bring kids and let them play and explore. There is a separate, gates area just for toddlers. This is perfect if you have a runner. They change exhibits often so there is always something new. They arent as big as some other childrens museums but their price is very reasonable. I recommend a membership, its worth it. You do have to pay for parking so keep that in mind. My only complaint is that there isnt a cafe. Make sure to pack a lunch or snacks.

A great place for kids of any age! My three month old loved all the colors, lights, and ‘big kids’ running around while my two year old enjoyed every single station he could get his hands on. We arrived right after they opened on a Wednesday morning and found it easy to enjoy the museum, even with a local school’s field trip being there too. We really enjoyed the little toddler section. All in all, we spent about 4 hours and had only gone through around 60% of the whole museum. We will definitely be returning to Betty Brinn Children’s Museum the next time we visit Wisconsin.

Best option for hosting a childrens event or party. Organized my nephews birthday party. The kids enjoyed the amphitheatre set up of the room and even though hosting the event for a certain time period, guests in the party have free access to the museum all day long. Interesting and educative options for the kids to learn and grasp new things. Highly recommended for all parents and also for organizing affordable events.

Amazing place! My son absolutely loved it, there is so much to do! Parents, be prepared to be as exhausted as your child(ren) lol. Like many other children my son did not want to leave. I particularly enjoyed the workforce area, and the small grocery store, it really gave my son a sense of independence. It was our first time, I found that the place was a bit hard to find, I used GPS, drove around to the back to find. Parking structure $8 with $2 discount once validated (non- member). Went on a Saturday, park on street if possible. We did not purchase products on inside. Good times.

Great place for young kids with plenty to keep them busy. Great location for exploring the downtown area - right along the avenue! From the interactive bug education outdoor patio area there is a beautiful view of the lake and Callatrava at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Its on the bus line, so you can save time and money finding parking.Interactive, educational and of course, FUN! Brought my nephew here and had a few hours of fun and learning for under $20. There was also a play area for very young/toddlers to play - we didnt check out that area since hes not in the age/size range. The current changing exhibit was all Mr. Potato Head. There was a station with every imaginable part, even star wars themed items, to create your own Mr. (or Miss) Potato Head. There was also a space station and archeological dig area in the Potato Head section. One area has a town that the kids can run! Complete with a post office, car repair shop, bank, and even a grocery store where kids can explore their passions as they learn. Everything is set up so kids can work together in whichever role they choose. They can be a bank teller, repair a car, deliver mail, grocery shop or take a relaxing ride on their Harley. You must have a child with you to visit. There is a number you can contact if there is any special arrangements that may need to be requested for an adult that is not with a child. I assume its for everyones safety. There are plenty of seats for adults with great views of all the action. I never once lost sight of my little ward but was still able to give him the space to explore.Highly recommended.

This place has a decent blend of staple, static exhibits: motorcycles, bus, grocery store, construction zone, tube and tunnel system, and a regularly rotating array of seasonal activities (the baseball exhibits were great over summer of 19). I can’t give this 1 star, because my kids had a blast, but we were seriously frustrated with the service and how run down the place was. First, we looked into whether or not our museum membership would transfer and this would be free. They are a program participant - so it should have been. They couldn’t figure it out, so we had to pay. It wasn’t a huge deal. They told us they’d email the tech people since “so many people have been complaining.” We were completely respectful - $20 isn’t a problem. When we showed them why we knew they were program participants the manager gave us a ton of attitude (she was already working the front desk). We had already paid without complaint, there was no need for attitude. The building itself was run down. Many of the exhibits were not working or partially not working. Many had missing pieces. While we certainly won’t be back the next time we’re down in the area, (Discovery World is MUCH bigger and much better run) my kids all enjoyed their time there and didn’t notice the same things we did.

I only gave them one star because zero wasnt an option. We got there when they opened on a Sunday, and within an hour there were so many kids my son couldnt do anything. There were big kids in the toddler room and unsupervised kids everywhere with parents on the phone. Kids were running and screaming. My son was hit in the face. Nobody was enforcing the rules because the kids working there were playing scrabble, dancing, and yelling to each other. One of them used inappropriate language while yelling to another one about what they got each other for Christmas. This place definitely needs to cap their admission or sell hourly tickets like trampoline parks do. It was not fun and not safe. We will never go back.

Spent the afternoon here and it was a fine experience for the kids. It is however very small (maybe a dozen areas?) and most importantly it wasn’t a museum because they dont teach anything there. It is an occupational playground with many missed lessons: a grocery store that doesnt teach about weights and measures, a tv studio and green screen that doesnt teach about signal transmissions or how anything works, an auto shop that doesnt teAch about engines. If they would insert even a tiny bit of education it could be considered a museum, but as said, its an occupational playground.
