My first visit here was actually on a field trip in elementary school back in the early 2000s. I have been back several times as an adult and learn something new every time. This is a really neat way to learn about one really neat family!

The Museum was closed for renovations but we got to take some photos of the front of the house and back yard. We also got to peek inside the windows briefly seems like an interesting historically relevant place.

Staff is always so friendly. We have enjoyed the tour of the house but we often attend the third Thursday readings they offer. My three year old loves the books they read and especially getting to take home the special book at the end of the reading.

Paid tour. So few showed up that the tour became a private tour of the small home. Lots of cool fun facts learned about the Bush family. Worth the visit. Highly recommended.

This was such a wonderful little place to stop. Even if you arent republican, this was so fun to see a presidential home! The Livingroom is all recreated, and meticulous care in recreating George Ws childhood bedroom. Information available throughout the home about The Bushs involvement in the community. Tour guides very knowledgeable. Absolutely worth the 30 min to 1 hour tour.

My mom, husband, and I kind of stumbled upon this place as we were driving around Midland. It was a great experience to walk through the house of TWO former presidents! We learned so much during the tour. The guide was very informative and let us go at our own pace. She was extremely friendly. We enjoyed the little store at well. We collect magnets from everywhere we visit and they had several to choose from! Both staff members were great to talk with.

Simple and humble place to visit. But, just the feeling of being in the humble beginnings of at least two of the most powerful men in the world was worth a visit to me while in the area.

The director, and our tour guide, Paul was awesome! He gave us a wonderful tour of the house, and was full of knowledge regarding the Bush family and history surrounding the time period that they lived in the home. The house is fascinating to walk through. The attention to detail is remarkable and goes to show that all research and preservation efforts were well worth it.

I had an excellent opportunity to visit the childhood home of George Bush and his family. It was fascinating to see the house that they lived in that was recreated to resemble the time period when they grew up in it. The tour guide was very informative though I came in late so they were cutting it short on time but still the tour was very welcoming and I enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick peak into an interesting part of Texas history.

Amazing, for me, to be in the home, too see and walk where the Bush family spent there Texas life, to see the quaintness of the home, and how far we have come from hardworking small families, to robust lifestyles, Id preferred to think of the time then as enjoyable and the lifestyle suits my spirit ... wonderful experience

Not a fan of GW Bush but this was a stop on a tour I was on.. The actual framed building is the only real authentic part of this site. The interior is a tribute, more to the 50s than to the actual Bush family. As a museum of an era, its that and the guides are very friendly and knowledgeable about their intended topic. There is a gift shop if someone wanted to obtain a memento. All in all, the childhood home of George W. Bush, just wasnt a highpoint of my South Texas tour.

Joy was our very rude tour guide. She was in such a hurry to get us out of there, and actually closed a door to the patio room not allowing us to view it. She seemed so racist though. Joy didnt bring joy to our so hurriedly tour. Joy is definitely NOT a good tour guide AT ALL!!! If anyone reading this happens to go when Joy is there, request another tour guide cuz Joy is a horrible one!
