Beautiful park! A literal gem in the fall and a gorgeous hike. My only complaint would be being able to hear the highway. Love all the benches on the trails to sit and enjoy the nature!

Nice park, great trails, well maintained.

Allardale is one of the most beautiful parks in the area. There is a wide variety of beautiful landscapes along the trail including hills, flowers, streams, tall grass, open fields, dense woods. There is a lot packed into this small area. We love going there with our dog and little one.

We are so in love with the venue we had our wedding here. Its gorgeous.

Seems like a nice little Park. Like youre able to do a mile in loops but not very long, the park was clean and the day we were there not too many people so that was nice. Only drawback would be all the traffic noise you hear from the Interstate.

Hidden Gem, Allardale is beautiful in all seasons, lots of hills for a good workout.

We want to eventually rent this place out with friends. The entertainment area has everything you could need. The park itself is huge and lots to explore.

Hidden gem. Is a beautiful business for weddings and events.

Not the variety of wildlife found at other parks, but the lack of people makes up for it. This is an obscure park, so there are few visitors. Incredibly beautiful landscapes, and forested paths. Expect stairs snd steep inclines, but not too challenging for those who dont hike often. Abuts the highway at the back, so highway noise does take away from the overall vibe. A nice place to visit, though.

I have been hiking at Allendale for years love all th stairss and elevation changes for a great workout, only dislike is all of the dog poop that people do not clean up

This is my Aunt and Uncles old home so I have a special place in my heart for Allardale. The thousands of trees that were planted by Stan Allard are truly impressive. Note especially the Johnny Appleseed (Chapman) descended apple orchard. The park is a tree lovers paradise. The walk North along the creek is beautiful and the top of the hill has one of the finest views (if not the finest) in Medina and Summit counties. The new shelter at Allardale is very tasteful and accommodating.

While the kitchen doesnt have all the amenities (No stove, just a warming oven and a microwave) it was spacious and clean. The entertaining space is gorgeous but small, accomodating only 99 people. Great for a small event.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places. Great place for horses. Our kids grew up riding here.

A great place to host parties, birthday to graduation, however, any get together would fit this palce to a tee. The accommodations are amazing, not your classical park, rather an upscale camp like site.

One of my favorite places to hike. The paved path is nice. The unpaved paths are spectacular.

Was here for a wedding. Interior is very pretty and spacious. Theres a lot one can do to decorate the inside area and outside porch. Acoustics sounded pretty good. There is a lot of flexibility in the lighting, in terms of bright or dim, per your preference (which so many other locations lack). There is a decent sized kitchen area that can be easily hidden from guests, worked well for the catering. Nice sized bathrooms, were also kept nice and clean. They were a bit hot when we went but started to cool down in the evening. There was a large relaxing area that could be closed off from everyone else, which proved perfect for the bridal party. This area also had nice couches, a huge mirror, and children books which came in handy for some of the younger children. The exterior is pretty and generally well kept (we were there early spring, but Im sure it gets even prettier in the warm seasons).

Was my favorite park! Great trails and places to stop among the way. 2 star rating because they cut down the gigantic tree at an over look I used to visit frequently. Ive spent countless hours under that tree relaxing,with friends, even writing music. Now its just a spot for benches sadly.

Beautiful park. I attended a wedding at The Lodge, a lovely spot overlooking rolling hills. Fire pit and patio, modern cabin in the woods interior. Wonderful!

I have been to the park side of this park and to the lodge. The lodge is likely for gatherings, even a wedding. The hike is a great hike. The hike has lots of wild flowers, both in the woods and along waterways and fields. You will see all kinds of beautiful flowers here and tons of finches fitting in them and nesting in them. The hike has lots of bridges and even a stone party across a stream.

Great place for smaller events

We were here for a wedding and thought the party house/facility was really nice, roomy and contemporary. There was a great view off the back of the building into the rolling countryside which made you wish that you could see it in the spring, instead of mid-February. Nice.

Stunningly gorgeous by far my favorite park in Medina.

Had my wedding at the lodge this past weekend. Oct 13th. The lodge is a wonderfull venue to do so at. The lodge has more pros than cons. Cheap, clean, tables, chairs, kitchen, and restrooms all on site. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding/reception venue. There was only one major con to the venue. We were unable to have the heat turned on and were not made aware that no heat would be provided except the gas fireplace. We were made aware that the a.c. was still on and set to 70, but nothing was said about only having a.c. and no heat except the fireplace. No heat in the middle of October in Ohio can definitely be a bad thing. The fireplace did take some of the chill out of the room but it still never reached above 63 degrees in the room, even with 75 people in the reception room and the fireplace on since 9am.All in all it was a wonderful day and appreciate the venue.

This is a great park to take a hike, relax, or just have fun. The lodge is beautiful and has a great view of the park. In the winter there is an amazing hill for slead ridding by the lodgebut be prepared to work hard to go down the hill more than once, it is very steep.

We just had our wedding here and was so pleased with the outcome! What a gorgeous location. I kept receiving compliments on it all day long!! We made sure to leave it as clean as when we got it. Thank you Lodge of Allardale!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Good luck trying to book the lodge because it is freaking impossible to do so on Saturday. You have to stay up and do it at midnight that morning and do it online and it just is freaking impossible.

Great medina county park. Super walkways n views. Many different trees n birds. Beautiful lookout spot with cozy bench. Many different trails for beginners to advanced hikers. Super clean restrooms.
