Not too hard to find. You can actually follow the road all the way until you see the path on the right I took a picture of. We ended up stopping where the road on google maps ended and hiking the rest of the way. It was a short maybe half mile hike and nice to stretch our legs.It was a little tricky to get a good photo of the falls when we went, but it was still a lovely out of the way spot. I enjoyed climbing down the rivers edge to look at the cool way the rock was breaking apart.
Beautiful venue but tricky to find. The road is not labeled so visitors need to know to follow the sign for the county landfill. You must drive past the landfill and into the woods to find the falls. You can park nearby and its a short walk down the trail, again unlabeled. Follow your ears: youll hear the rushing water from the road.
There are no signs takes you down a sand trail. You must park and walk .need to put up trail signs.
Some of the prettiest falls within quick driving distance of mqt!
