Love this place. Great for adults and kids. So much to do and explore. My little one stays entertained for hours. And they have spot for food if you want to have a party there. Live animals, like snakes and turtles and lizards.

Wonderful stop for families in Marquette MI. We enjoyed our time there August 19, 2020. Covid -19 procedures were well executed and easy to follow. Everything was clean. The facility is charming and homey.

My children were disappointed this morning because we were turned away, not because of capacity but because we hadnt purchased tickets online prior to arriving for the 10-12 session. I was more than willing to purchase them online but because we arrived at 10:12am the staff member said it was too late to purchase them and basically sent us on our way. I am sorry but why would you want to prevent children from an educational learning experience?

A lovely little museum. Plenty for little ones to explore. A dedication to recycling and repurposing. A dedicated and knowledgeable staff.

Must see place for the kids, my daughter and I took my five year old grandson there and after three and a half hours, he wanted to stay longer.For anyone visiting the Marquette area, this is a must see stop for your kids.A really good variety of attractions/activities.From the airplane, train setup, turtles, snakes, and lizards, plus so much more.We will definitely be going back.

Great place to take kids and lots of fun but could you some much needed TLC and update. Great value for an afternoon of fun for the entire family. Has space to accommodate groups for birthdays and events.

A wonderful place for the kids and well worth the membership. The play setups for the kids are very unique and imaginative and theres even part of an actual airplane with a radio to communicate with the tower. Very neat place.

Even at 30, I thoroughly enjoyed bringing my 3 year old here. Lots of different activities. Very friendly staff. A great experience for kids.

Wonderful childrens museum with water features, live reptiles, scale trains and many many hands on activities for children of all ages. Played with our 18mo old grandson and observed ten year olds enjoying themselves. On our return visit list.

Had so much fun theres so much to do, not enough time . The time we spent there cuz we were, on a timed agenda, definitely going back! definitely worth the little cost that it is! totally didnt get to do everything. every time we turned around there was something new.

This was an awesome childrens museum. We got to have tea time with the director and he was a pleasure to meet and he has done amazing stuff for that museum.

Absolutely worth your while (plus repeat trips!) We attended for the first time from out of state for a birthday party. The facility is packed with something for everyone---kids of all ages & adults. We have an almost one year old and a 2 1/2 year old that both loved it along with cousins that are 6. The museum is colorful and inviting with personable and professional staff. There is an elevator for assistance going to the second floor and many different rooms/areas to explore and satisfy all interests. I wished we lived here because we could come time and time again without getting bored. I couldnt say enough positive things and will make it a point to visit in our return trips to the UP.

My 3 year old loved the turtles, the store, the cave area where you can excavate dinosaur bones? He spent almost an hour there. We are making the UP childrens museum a regular thing. Hes having fun, learning and having amazingly positive social interactions with other people!

We had so much fun here! The kids loved it and there are so many fun and unique things to do here. The third Sunday of the month is early literacy night and admission is free. Its a great way to check the museum out!

One of the coolest museums Ive been to in a long time. Worth the drive up to Marquette all on its own. My son had a great time and honestly so did I, everything was designed to be engaging and entertaining for children and a wide range of eductional subjects were covered. My family will definitely be going back at some point.

So many unique ways for children to use their imagination and play without screens.

Such a great place for children of all ages! We easily spent 2 hours here with our 10 month old and could have spent much longer. Especially impressed with all the exhibits, they really cater to learning while having lots of fun using your imagination! Looking forward to visiting again!

Fun place for a wedding reception. I think mostly though its a good place to take the kids to play around in an environment that is fun and educational. The staff here is great to work with.

Fantastic place to bring kids. The reptiles are especially fun. Kids love holding them, and the staff are good about helping and keeping an eye on things, and sharing their knowledge.

Our toddler always has so much fun here since they have so many different things to see and do. Its much bigger than it looks from the outside. I was really surprised to see the live animals inside (fish, lizards, turtles, snakes, etc.). If youre looking for something fun to do with your younger children, especially over the winter months, I highly recommend this place.

Kids running wild and only a handful of parents watching them. There was a little bully. Only saw two workers for the whole place. Only one hand cleaning station...germ city.

A little hectic, kids running around unsupervised made it hard for my kids to stay focused on the activity we were on, plus they were running and not paying attention where they were going, really felt like a chucke cheese play place or a playground versus a childrens museum. Wish it was a little more structured so kids are actually able to learn because they have some really awesome things. And by structured I mean I wish parents would supervise their children more and not let them run off and push other kids etc..

My kids had a blast! Ages 3, 7, and twins 12yrs. We stayed for about 3 hours and didn’t want to leave :)

My wife and I took our daughter here and really enjoyed the experience. Pretty nice place. In a little disrepair in some spots but had a few really interesting interaction areas such as the green screen and the music area. A couple of slides as well. Although its not as good as the La Crosse, WI childrens museum its a great time and not too expensive.

Grass roots feel. Loads of things for kids to do of all ages, not just little ones. My only issue is they have lots of reptiles, turtles ok, but snakes- my biggest fear. Would love for them to replace the snakes with cuddly bunnies.

More of a playhouse than a museum. The few scientific displays or demonstration machines they had were all broken when we went there. Kinda run down generally. It is great fun for younger kids, but not as huge as I had imagined it would be. Parents might get bored after an hour or so. Despite not being super huge, the place is a maze... I have to say the issue of fire safety did cross my mind there. Also a great place for kids to swap germs. That probably sounds paranoid or over-protective, but at least outdoor playgrounds are sanitized somewhat by rainfall and the suns UV radiation. We had free tickets from Beacon House; if it costs $18 for two parents and one child to enter, we will probably not go back.

Probably the coolest, most interactive Childrens museum weve ever been to.The kids could spend an entire day here, and still miss things to do.Reptile petting zoo inisde, tons of interactive play areas, and just things to do.A review or pictures just dont do justice. If. You have children, and need something to keep them occupied, you really wont go wrong by bringing them here.We got thanked by our 11 year old son, which should tell any parent just how cool this place is!

A surprisingly good little interactive museum. I was there with a 3 and 1yr old and we could have spent hours there! It was a great place to burn off some energy on a dreary post-Thanksgiving day.

A really fun and well designed museum. Time flys when the kids are having fun. They can easily spend three or more hours here. There are many activities for you and your children to enjoy!

Definitely do not pass up a chance to go here! Not just for kids either lol. Explore so many interactive displays and use your imagination to be whoever you want to be! From an airplane cockpit, to a grocery store, they have every occupation you can dream up.

Lots of fun! Turtles to pet, a radio to make announcements on, stories, a green screen, baby doves, crafts, aquariums, lots to do!
