We had a blast! There is currently a mask requirement and social distancing signs up. Sanitizer stations are available as well. It isnt a large museum but it is packed with amazing history and memorabilia. The artifacts have been kept in pristine condition and the gift options afterwards are high quality and fairly priced. While we visited, several calls came in and we witnessed the speed of the MFD! Thanks for a great day and your civil service!
Cute little fire museum. The self guided tour is fine but it is a bummer that you cant touch any of the old fire trucks. Its hard to take kids in there and expect that. Nonetheless, a great little museum about fire history. You should go at least once.
Best Fire Station Museum I’ve been. A must go!
Now this is what a fun time looks like I love coming here beautiful
Very interesting. Photos of people places and events that brought back many memories. Some good some bad. Well worth the time, bring a camera. Awesome displays!
This museum has a wonderful collection of fire fighting equipment and even an engine from 1835! The information covers the history of the area and is well done. There is even a corner dedicated to the emergency people on September 11 and their dedication that awful day. There is no fee, but do take donations. Well worth your time.
Nice little place to take your little ones! The gift store has very decent prices, too! We happened to spot a firetruck on duty coming into the station..pretty cool if your kid loves firetrucks!
Great museum! My 6 year old loved it.
Small but interesting and well preserved. Good for kids 4+
What a wonderful place! I love the displays and detailed information on the history of fire fighting. You can definitely spend at least an hour here reading a d looking at everything. The people here are also very kind and happy to give insight or answer any questions you may have.
Great place. My son enjoyed it a lot.
Great presentation of unique history and community service legacy... MUST SEE!
Great collection of the citys own historic equipment. Bonus tour of the active station. Quality signs and displays.
Soo coooool
I took a class of twelve 4 year old to the museum on a field trip. We scheduled the trip in advance and they provided our class with two tour guides to walk us through the exhibit, share stories, and answer questions. They were amazing guides!Because of the positive experience with the field trip I soon after brought my daughter (age 4) to the Marietta Fire Museum. She was very excited to get a chance to see the trucks both new and old close up.The museum is small and so it doesnt take long to walk though which makes it a perfect place to stop at on your trip into the Downtown Marietta area.
Nice museum detailing the history of the Marietta FD.
Its free and easy to do
Loved all the old vehicles and memorabilia
Great staff is very nice and friendly also very educational.
The museum its nice and the firemen who have us the tour were awesome. I highly recommend taking your children there.
Nice little museum.
Interesting, clean, informative, and free. Very cool
Great Place to Learn. Took our students here and they had a blast as did I.
Great little place to look at fire Department history.
Attached to an active fire station, the museum is a great place to learn a little about the history of fire fighting. The apparatus and memorabilia on display are well maintained/ restored.
Great representation of historic public safety equipment
Free, small ... not worth the drive from town unless your kids obsessed with fire trucks but is old enough to not touch. Mine had more fun stopping at my local fire station and getting a personal tour of the firehouse and truck.... we layer went to this museum and he asked to leave and go back
Fun little museum. Kiddos really enjoyed .... Nice bit of history. Wish it had weekend hours
Free, very nicely done, kiddos love it!
Very clean and friendly! Would like to know when they came up with hoses to put out fires.
Awesome job displaying Mariettas fire history.
Good place to visit and learn a bit of history
We came here with our Cub scout den. There was a little bit of confusion in the scheduling. Regardless the fireman on duty took on the challenge of teaching our den and did an incredible job.
Theres great history waiting for you to discover!
Small but cute, a few trucks for the kids to look at.
Good, nice exhibits, squeezed a little though, self guided, I like the contrast of an original fire truck and a restored one.
Great job guys!
Great place
Worth the visit
Awesome display of Marietta and for history.
Great take
Great place
