My kids love this park we just moved here and we are getting to know the neighborhood! I am always looking for good fishing spots cane here twice but no fish. Does anyone have luck here or know when it will be restocked?

Nice park however it is way too crowded on the weekends. There is almost always some sort of event going on rendering the walking paths impassable. Also the city has become lax in the up keep walking paths are often full of leaves and dog poop unfortunately. This is a shame as the park is beautiful.

It is beautiful and relaxing and there is a trail that connects to it so that you can see another scenery when you walk and the end of the trail comes out to another park, two parks connecting. There are also childrens playgrounds, basketball courts, and barbecue pits. It is great for families or for individuals who just want to walk. Enjoy!

Great large park. The playground is large and has several swings as well. It has rubber padded ground thats great for little ones still crawling or learning to walk. None of the playground is covered unfortunately. There are several covered picnic tables nearby and even more that are not covered. Theres even many horse shoe areas. The walking trail is very nice including a small pond with fountain. 2 volleyball and a few basketball courts are also available.

We had a lovely lunch in the park. A lot of people out walking. The park looked very nice and clean. After lunch we grabbed a geocache.

Great family park with lighted basketball courts and a sand volleyball court. Walking trails connecting to other nice parks, pond, and playground great for entire family.

I like coming here for the long walks and work outs. I get to enjoy the scenery as well. Talk with God. Thats a plus!

My family and I love the trails.of this park. They connect two parks. There is lots of open space and a great variety of things to enjoy. A pond for fishing,basketball and sand volleyball courts, playgrounds and gazebos for cookouts. Sunny and shaded areas to enjoy also. Bathrooms available as well.

This is my favorite place in the entire city of Mansfield. An absolute beautiful property that is quite well kept, nice hiking trails, water features, plenty of wildlife 10/10 let’s keep this place beautiful.

Very nice this afternoon, cool but a bit humid. Still several people walking and running. It is a nice park, I like to go there and just relax and look at the trees and squirrels!

I come here multiple times a week. Nice paved trail that connects to other parks. Clean park and pretty. Tons of huge pecan trees! Come in the fall and pick up some pecans.

Great park! Most of the trail are covered with trees. Has bathroom. Plenty of playground for the kiddos.PoGO player: several Pokestops and gyms. Worth the walk to go around at least 1 time.

Absolutely love this park. You can walk around with the children, pets, or friends. Roller skate, bike, or just run. There is a little pond for fishing or feeding the many turtles. Place to play volleyball or build sand castles with the little ones. Many bbq setups with benches. Great family park.

Very clean park, and a lot of space so it was not overly crowded for a Saturday afternoon with lovely weather.

Took my boys to get out and away from the house. They loved the playground and fountain. It was peaceful and relaxing.

This is a beautiful park. The only negative is the playground area is a little small compared to the other parks in town.

Very Nice Park in Mansfield. Love how most of the Mansfield Parks are connected so you can go for a run or a walk.

What a cool playground! My 2.5 year old had a blast playing with her 5 year old friend, and I saw both older and younger kids around the area having lots of fun. My little one thought the swing where Mom can sit and swing with her was basically the best thing ever, and her older friend loved the tire swing. I love that its on a trail system so I can train for my races before turning my kid loose

The linear park is one of the best in the metroplex in my opinion. We visit there frequently.

Still a nice place, you dont have to wear a mask because intelligent people own and/or walk this park

I absolutely love this park!! My kids always have a great time when we come here. There’s so much to do. Nature trail, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, body weight exercise equipment(on trail), playground w swings and soft platform. The kids, dogs, and you will love it!

This place is so so so beautiful! It has a safe playground for little kids to play on and it does NOT have woodchips. The trails are beautiful, the lakes/creeks may have some trash in them but other than that, it is still so beautiful! I highly recommend this place!

Took the kids there on Easter Sunday to hunt for eggs. Nice place!

Very clean and the trails are wide enough for riding a bike, running and/or walking.

I have always loved coming here until recently. The slide has been out of work since summer and the pond it so full of trash. With my taxes so high, one would assume the parks would be better.

I feel like there is always something more that can be done with this park to attract more people, but I just dont know what that is. Bike park? Maybe or RC attraction? Great place to enjoy the outdoors.

Nice long trail connecting this park to two others by a nicely paved trail. Great place to run. I know there are occasionally 5K races here.The park is very well maintained, staff are there all the time.Off the path in the more heavily wooded areas there appears to be a little bit of poison ivy, but I have never had a problem with it - you would have to really venture off the trail to get into that stuff. Just beware that its out there and keep dogs out of it.

Our family’s favorite playground in the area! We had my son’s one year old birthday party here and it was fantastic. Lots of shade, so it doesn’t get too hot in the summer

I love this park. It is very open & there are always families spending their saturdays here. This park is a big park that connect to 2 other parks in mansfield. There are pavilions, work out machines & a little pond. There is also a very big playground for the kiddos to play on.

Wonderfully design park.... I enjoy walking at this park, the other walker are always friendly with a good morning and a hello good afternoon... Great place to play soccer are have a family picnic...If you love walking and a fantastic friendly atmosphere this is the place to go..

Good clean park with plenty of open space and playground area. The playground isnt covered with any sort of canopy so the equipment will get very hot during summer so be careful.

Great city park. Its plenty big for little ones to run around. If you have a kid with special needs then this is definitely a 5/5. (Has swings for any child in wheel chair, and the play park is wheel chair accessable). Great park to go on a bike ride with the family and explore the trails.

Large park with lots of walkways, basketball court, volleyball court. Barbecue pits. Tables. A large playground with swings and jungle jims etc. Very nice shaded by trees.

Such a clean and well kept park. Really big and spacious with smoke seating. The walking trail is long and roomy enough for biking. A great place for a day of family fun and event planning.

Excellent park, went there today with a bunch of my friends to play Pokemon go, Had lots of fun. Wasnt too busy and a lot of the park was Available, the basketball court is almost always full tho. Great park to walk around and the trail is amazing

This is a great park. There is plenty of things for kids to chose from. Very large park.

Great park for smaller kids. Just remember when the junior high lets out ( it is right next door).

Bigger than others, has trails and is better for running. Huge grass areas for picnics in warm weather. Playground looks good for kids. Has bathrooms. Water fountain is by the play ground. Its also connected to other parks, do if parking is bad here, you can drive to another one.

Cool trails, even cooler if you venture off them sometimes. Lots of different geography, in the creek beds to explore.

Its a beautiful park with sand volleyball, basketball courts, a splash pad, and playground. We even saw a friendly Mansfield police officer there as comfort. Our family will definitely be back

Very large park with kids playground, plenty of room to play Frisbee or Football. Very well kept and clean. Restrooms are also clean. There is a nice little pond in the back, and a good sized creek to walk along. The bike trails even connect to another park. Very nice place overall!

Beautiful and safe

Katherine Rose is a nice park. It has an open space with mature trees, a playground, several gazebos, a pond with a fountain, a paved trail with two paths that lead off to other parks. It also has a parking lot and restrooms. There is the option to park at James McKnight Park and walk on the trail to Catherine Rose.

Love Rose Park! One of my favorite places to start my morning run or just hang out and play some volleyball or basketball. Tons of space to do just about anything.
